The location is amazing, just a block away from everything. It's also quiet at night and, since it's adults only, there's peace and it's possible to relax and enjoy the time in Playa del Carmen. Each room has it's own little terrace which is nice.

The pool chairs were always occupied. We couldn't get a spot even the days we arrived as early as 8 AM. People arrive early, drop their things on a chair and go for breakfast. Either get more chairs for all guests, or restrict the time per chair so everyone can enjoy the pool.

The property was very well located with access to everything within walking distance. Staff was super friendly and we were always greeted with a friendly smile. We felt very safe. We also had a massage which was amazing and a great deal. We did a full packet that included a facial, exfoliation, sauna, massage and the tubs. We also got a cute drink and some fresh fruit after the massage which was not expected. My sister and I had the whole spa available to ourselves for 2 hours.

Overall, the experience was positive but I really hated that the bathroom didn’t have hot water and the water was super salty. Even the “hot tub” in the spa was just luke warm. I didn’t think to look for hot water as an offered amenity. In addition, the bathroom was pretty small (toilet and shower in one small room) and grimey. The water wasn’t reaching the drain and the drain was disgusting. There was a small window in the shower but when we opened it there was a ton of dirt on the screen. We loved the property (staff, pool in the middle, rooms were cute, safety, location) but between no hot water and the nasty shower I don’t think we will be back😭.

The staff and the location were more than perfect. I really cannot describe how polite and nice was everyone at this hotel. They are 10/10. The location was also perfect because you could walk to everywhere. There are restaurants, pubs, parking, supermarkets in a 1 minute walking distance. Also the breakfast was AMAZING!

What I didn’t like about the hotel were just 2 things. 1st one was the fact that the room was “old” and not 100% clean. You could see signs of mold and some dust. But nothing extreme, just a bit of both. The second thing that I didn’t like was the spa services, but this is just my personal opinion. In general everything was nice and the staff was 10 out of 10.

Our second time there. Everything was exceptionally good. However the bed was uncomfortable. I don’t have a reason for it because last year we went and the bed was super cozy…we stayed in the same room so I have no expectation for it. However the staff is awesome. The manager found me private Spanish lessons which I really wanted. When I tried to find my own I was not lucky. Coba and chicken itza was awesome. Buy trips from the lobby (Alonzo or Alfonzo) is the man. I can’t remember his name but he was good. The breakfast is great in the restaurant connected to the hotel. Very central to everything going on…restaurants n the area are amazing. Especially La Familia the Italian joint out the front door and 1 1/2 blocks down on the right. The picture is off our deck

It was Marti Gras so the first couple days were loud. But this is party town that doesn’t sleep. So if you like to party this is the place. After the 3 days of marti gras it simmered down…

Amazing breakfast buffet, super friendly staff, cozy hotel without any kids. Nice pool but could be a bit bigger. Good location. Good prices for drinks by the pool.

Beds were not comfortable and it was a bit dark in the room. Hotel could use some renovation but it was clean and nice. Hotel is full of mature people so it might not be the best choice for younger couples of friend companies.

The pool area and balcony’s are wonderful and feel very tropical. Also the main guy at reception during the day was so friendly and made us feel at home whenever we spoke to him.

The rooms were very basic and a bit old fashioned. Our hot water never worked so it was cold showers the whole time. There was a new guy training at reception who was really rude and wouldn’t open the door for my husband so he could use the bathroom until he had finished listening to a conversation that he wasn’t involved in. My husband waited 5 mins just to get out the door even though I asked him multiple times in Spanish to open it and he kept shooshing me.

The Spa facilities were great and the treatments wonderful. No general access to the sauna and jacuzzi, though, only when you have book as part of a treatment. Rooms were decent. They double sold a room one night so I had to move elsewhere then come back. They were spacious and clean and a had a massive bed. Shower was hot and powerful so great bathroom. There were not enough sun beds for everyone by the pool which didn’t bother me but the other guests thought they were in 1980s Benidorm and put towels down to reserve beds - which they then didn’t use for the most part until later in the day. So, don’t expect classy people to be staying here. They were all smoking cigarettes and getting burnt by the pool all day. If it does rain, or get cloudy, the other guests don’t want to give up their sunbeds so hover and leave them reserved with sodden towels. It really did spoil what is actually a beautiful space. The kind of person that goes to Playa is different to somewhere like Tulum, for instance, so it’s not really the hotel’s fault. The hotel could have, however, removed towels from unused sunbeds as I only wanted to lie on one in the morning after breakfast and before lunch when they were largely still empty but ‘reserved.

Lack of sunbeds and lack of stopping other guests unnecessarily reserve them. Didn’t have unlimited/or general access with a reservation sort of access to the spa facilities.

Good breakfast with quick drinks service. The choice was not huge but enough for our short stay. Staff were able to make up a boxed breakfast as we left early one day for an excursion (box included banana, ham and lettuce sandwich and pain au chocolate). Excellent location with beautiful space to sit by the pool/jacuzzi.

Some days there were no sun beds available to use by the pool as some people had reserved with towels. I feel that this could be better monitored by staff.

Great Hotel with nice pool surrounded by independent bedrooms. Very good breakfast and amazing SPA service always with a smile. Special thanks for all the staff, specially to Vanessa who was very good and very professional. Location was superb. The room was clean, big and very comfortable (nice bed).

The person with who I did the check in, was not understanding me. I was initially surprised that the only thing matter was the payment. Indeed, she forgot to understand that the customer experience should be her focus. Thanks god that another colleague (Vanessa) was closer an could assist her, because I was starting to feel a little disappointed

Wow, if you're thinking of booking at this hotel - just do it! I booked this hotel at 5 AM the morning of and showed up at 7 AM. The hotel was fully booked so I didn’t get my room until the afternoon, but the staff allowed me to use the facilities until then. I took advantage and decided to have breakfast by using 1 of my breakfasts earlier and I relaxed by the pool. I am so thankful I took the time to review this hotel and jumped on the opportunity. I came here alone, a single female traveler, and stayed here for 2 days. I highly recommend this hotel for rest, relaxation, and if you're solo traveling. I loved that it was secluded from the chaos of being close to a busy intersection. I felt like a private oasis from the moment I arrived and walked through the doors. You are steps away from all the action. I loved relaxing by the pool, and the hotel gives you guest passes to check out Beach Bars which was a 15-minute walk through a very lively street. I felt safe at all times, and I walked the streets morning to night solo. The morning breakfast, sitting outside was another plus as well. Everything was delicious and the staff were all so friendly. I need to give a special shout-out to, Eliezer, he welcomed me into the hotel and guided me with everything to expect during my stay. He was very helpful, and knowledgeable and always took care of my needs when I asked him for anything. Thank you, I will stay here again.
