Interesting little spot just outside Marrakech' busy city centre. I booked the Deluxe Superior Tent and it was worth every penny! Really good shower and comfortable. The place got packed with Caravans and Overlanders so we weren't lucky to have it to ourselves but absolutely Good value for money. Really nice pool but it got packed as soon as the sun started to heat up (around 11am/12pm) so had a few early morning laps and all was good. Other than that, one can't complain...

1. The Wi-fi! It's absolute rubbish and only accessible by the pool area 2. The fact they only accept Cash as payment but minor in comparison.

We booked this as a new year getaway for the family. this is a campsite and we were in a fixed tent, solid walls with canvas roof. it was spacious and pretty and clean. the bathroom had a nice shower with lots of warm water. the only negative was it was quite cold. we were given 2 heaters and plenty of blankets but do be aware if you are travelling in winter to bring warm clothes. the place is beautiful, just as the images show, as it was winter we didn't use the pool, but i cannot wait to return in the summer! the restaurant was lovely with kind staff. the location is quite far out and a taxi to town is about 15 euros. you can walk to a local town where there is a bank and cheap local restaurants. you are in a bit of a wasteland, but the area felt safe and I happily walked around with my children. reception were so helpful and kind and flexible when we needed to adjust our stay - all in all a really great stay - just bring warm clothes if its winter

Lovely spot to relax after a busy week travelling around Morroco. Lots of space to relax by the pool, or in the hammocks, or comfy square beds all around the gardens. Food and drink prices were reasonable. The nomad tent was perfect for me, quite big, and a little set back from the bar area. Note, as can be seen on maps, the location is a little way outside of marrakech and is a 100dh taxi in and out of the medina (200 dh to airport/train station) This is perfect though for chill vibes. It looks like a lot of the comments on booking have been addressed by the owners, I had no issues with wifi (strongest by the pool but still available in the tents), towels, food, etc. Note - take cash! The credit card machine was not working whilst I was there.

Could do with some hand soap in the bathrooms.

For a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable stay in the heart of the Medina, I can confidently recommend 'Dar El Moukhtar'.

To be honest, I didn't expect that hotel will be that nice. I had great stay. Stayed in luxus tent, very specious. Staff was friendly, very helpful, swimming pool access was perfect. Very chilled atmosphere. Pet friendly hotel. Prices was good too, not overpriced. Definitely recommend.

Card payment not accepted. Shower drain was blocked. No kettle in room. Other people loud after 11pm.

The location it's a 20min drive from the city center so it's outside of the busy center. The breakfast is very good and very cheap (4eur). The swimming pool area it's really beautiful. Overall, the place it's very charming. Also the staff it's really nice and welcoming.

The access road to the hotel it's not perfect because it's a made of dirt and has a lot of holes, so it's a little bit hard to find. The bed mattress it's a little bit old and not so comfortable.

I booked for one night and end up 4 nights. Booked a tent, very nice and comfortable. Shower etc lovely. Extremely good for value. There is an over lander facilities, that’s the only minus. Lots coming in am put. Pool great. They love cats and dogs. So animal friendly and I could feed strays. Spa in front of building. Another building. Had hammam and massage. Was very nice. Booked a tour too. So very nice place and affordable. Far from city if you want Medina.

Overland are with a lot of overlander. Well for the price, I could handle that. Rest was very good.

Spacious rooms and lots of area for lounging outside, as well as a big pool to cool off. Food was great, and the entire place had a great atmosphere. The place is far from Marrakech's centre, so it's perfect if you actually want to sleep at night. Great value for money.

Food was a little expensive, bathroom a little on the small side without much privacy. You might find some bugs about, but that's expected given the tent-like rooms. You also have to be willing to spend some money on taxis if you're visiting Marrakech, 100Dh each way.

Room was silent and beautiful, particularly lights, bathroom is small and spartan, but hey, you get what you paid for. Restaurant serves delicious food (big plus for having alcohol, including vine), common area is just purely amazing, everything is clean and charming. They have ping pong table and foosball, no additional charge!

One thing which personally hit me- payment is made at the end of the stay, and they kept my passport as deposit overnight, even when I offered that I will pay upfront, a little yet nasty surprise. Except of that - all good

The environment was great, very friendly vibe with a lot of entertaining spaces. They washed our clothes for a fee and arranged taxis whenever we needed. The breakfast was good. Our tent was very spacious. We would definitely come back and stay here again.

The bathroom in our tent was not very clean. The access is not very good, the road is not in a very good condition.
