Water pressure in the shower. Spoke to the guests in the room next door and they had the same issue. Made showering very difficult as it was practically dribbling out. Only issue we had

Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Everything we needed at the hotel. Tea coffee, towels etc. Staff even did complimentary washing, we were able to drop this off and they returned to our room. Location is a bit out of the city centre, however we came for the NYE event. Tram stop less than 5 minutes away

Lack of lighting in the room, you could barely see unfortunately. The automatic heaters only work at certain time slots, however we couldn’t change the dial, being on the bottom floor it was either way too hot or cold when the heaters were off. Room is a bit run down but okay for a few days, also as mentioned in previous review, no lift, even with a big suitcase we survived

This is my second time in Amsterdam but first time in this hotel. I fell in love with the friendliness of the staff, especially Elroy. He showed us typical places to eat, where to take public transport and many other tips, he really helped us make our holidays fun and easy. When the welcome is of this type the hotel is rated 5 stars. There are stairs for those who have difficulty with suitcases especially is heavy but even in this case the fantastic Elroy helped us without even asking. The room was spacious and with a small garden outside, the bathroom was comfortable and with a welcome gift in the room. Definitely recommended.

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The location is good —right next to the beautiful Vondelpark, and within walking distance to all the major museums. Plus, there's a tram stop nearby, making it super convenient for getting around the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay - we recieved multiple key cards, and were able to store the cheese we have bought to bring home in their fridge upon our request. The only small downside is that, like in many old buildings in Amsterdam, there is no lift, so it makes it difficult to carry big luggage upstairs with steep stairs. However, the staff were quick to accommodate us by switching our room to a lower floor when they saw how heavy our luggage was, which made a difference. Upon arrival we recieved complimentary fruits and a bottle of wine. It was also pretty warm in the building. Overall, it was a great experience!

Really lovely location, right by a nice big park and near cafe’s, the tram was at the end of the road which was really convenient to get into the centre - we usually walked though which takes about 30/40 minutes as its nice to see the surrounding area - the hotel is also only about 10 minute walk from museums like the Van Gogh/moco museum We booked a triple room and it was much bigger than I expected, with a balcony and a small kitchen/dining room as well - the beds were really comfortable and the staff friendly - check out being at 11am was nice and more relaxed too as most hotels usually have a check out at 10am- over all we loved it!

Nothing - everything was great- only small suggestion would be having a toaster in the kitchenette would have been good

This is our second stay - it's a great location hotel with good value for money in comparison to other places. Tram stop right outside and short walk to everywhere. Nice staff. Could be a really cool, cosy and trendy place but read below.

Could do with some TLC.. it has a lot of potential. The reception area is so nice and cosy and well looked after but once you get to the rooms it's a bit meh. Could do with a lick of paint and some new towels etc. Towels have bleach marks, same with the carpets. Scuffs on the walls. The bathroom is tiny but fine for a couple of days. Really steep and narrow staircase so people might struggle with heavy bags or mobility issues.

The hotel is in such a nice neighbourhood, right near the Vondelpark and museums, and down a lovely quiet residential street. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the complimentary wine and fruit. It was also useful being able to leave our bags before check in and likewise after check out. The bed and pillows were really comfy and the view on to the magnolia at the back was nice. This hotel is a great budget option for a couple of night's city break.

It could have been cleaner - whilst the bedding and towels were clean, the rest of the room needed a scrub, especially the bedside tables. The chair in our room hadn't been wiped and was covered in someone else's hair. The hotel needs a bit of an upgrade - our room was fine but the hall carpet is manky and our shower curtain was really mildewed.

I would just like to inform there are no lifts in this hotel, so you would have to climb up a few flights of stairs especially if you are in a higher floor. It was okay for me but I brought my mom along, so I would not recommend for older people. The staff was really friendly and really helpful, the chillest hotel staff I have met. Overall, it is a nice stay. I like the small patio we had over looking some trees and the outside, it was very calming.

The narrow spiral stairs, only because I twisted my ankle that very same day and I had to carry a luggage up to the second floor. On a normal day, this would have not been an issue.

The location was perfect for us. Nice quiet area away from the crazies but a good walking distance to the museums and centrum. Staff and coffee were brilliant. The room size was amazing and we had a nice balcony which turned put to be great for bird watching. I would probably stay here again :) We recommend Dignita for breakfast/brunch.

Just a bit more attention to detail would be nice. We didn't have a TV remote in the room. This wasn't a huge deal as we were out all day and we probably should have asked reception for it but it's just something we didn't think of in the morning and then it was too late at night when we returned. The bathroom didn't feel clean in parts. The sink looked like it needed a good scrub and the towels could he updated.
