What is there not to like! Perfect location, perfect views, located so close to the town. The staff were incredible and so friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic! Choice was exceptional and traditional. Rooms were large and comfortable and the morning coffee overlooking the river was a treat. Perfect and thank you

I have limited manoeuvrability as does my mother, and accessing the toilets was inadequately signposted when the lifts were available for people with problems. On one occasion my dad had to stop an elderly woman from attempting the stairs with a zimmer frame as they were unaware the lift went down to that level. Also…the two steps leading out to the riverside are quite dark, and for people walking in from outside they can be hazard. On an occasion a gentleman tripped up them as he hadn’t seen them. Otherwise perfect

The room was nice as it had both two queen beds and the river view. It was important for me that the hotel had a direct access to the parking. Also, when on foot, there is an entrance from the embankment and I enjoyed very much exiting the hotel towards the river every morning.

There is only a staircase (i.e. no lift) between the parking and the hotel, which could potentially be a bit tricky for some guests.

Having stayed at the Crowne Plaza before, I knew that everything from start to finish would be to my liking. The Premium Twin room was spacious, immaculate and the air condition a real bonus. Breakfasts were first class with a wide variety of fresh products and plenty of seating available both indoor and outside, with a superb view of the River Maas. Located just a few minutes walk from the railway station and from the old town and less than ten minutes from the Vrijthof.

Nothing negative about this hotel

Great location to access the centre of Maastricht. We took our dog, this was no problem and a food bowl was provided. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, plenty of room to relax. Also the lounge areas downstairs are ideal to relax if you are travelling in a family group as we were.

There was plenty of parking provided (underground garage) but it was EUR22 per night. Also the price of EUR29 per night fo our dog was quite expensive in my experience.

I felt very welcome from the minute I came in to the hotel. The staff was extra much taking care and everybody was always smiling and also asking if there were anything that could do for us. I travelled woth my mother and we were both so happy with the hotel and hotel staff. Also big bonus to have the best hair dresser inside the hotel. He was also 100% and gave us lot of warm welcome. Wonderful location, on the river bank, short lovely walk to the touristic part of the old town full of life, shops, bars and restaurants. Cordial staff, comfortable room and a lovely breakfast room with the river views.

It should be mentioned that there is NO elevator to reach the parking garage from the hotel, instead one has to use quite steep stairs. We only had an overnight bag so it was ok for us, but we witnessed people struggling with large amounts of luggage.

Central location of the hotel

Bathroom door needs oiling as squeaks very load which is disturbing if you have to get up in the night. TV access was limited as had hoped to use the 'cast' facility on the TV but TV had a different wi-fi to the main room. I needed the TV wi-fi on to operate the 'cast'. I went to Reception to enquire about the Samsung TV wi-fi password but they did not know it and I do not think they understood the issue as they have not experienced this issue for some reason.

check in if you have a car was terrible. you cannot park in front of the hotel, and nobody tells you where to park. After the check in you get the information where to park. breakfast was poor and has not enough variety The lady in the reception was ironizing me, when i said there were not enough variety in the breakfast (she said: you can buy at the shop in the corner and eat at home) What a shame for IHG having such a staff.

We like this hotel and have stayed several times before. We always find the staff very friendly and helpful. We always have an executive room which is quiet and has lots of space. The location by the river, 5 minutes walk to either of the bridges to town and close to lots of restaurants is quite excellent. The buffet breakfast is good but not as good as it was in 2022. The carpark is quite excellent, clean, well lit, secure and with direct access into the hotel.

The room is getting a bit tired and would benefit from refurbishment and replacing the bath with a walk in shower. Who wants a bath these days? Breakfast not quite as good in 2022 and a lift from the carpark into the hotel would be a real benefit. Heaving heavy suitcases up and down the steep stairs is not easy when you get old.

Hotel was right by the river and only a short walk to bridges to cross to the other half of the city. Spacious reception and lounge are a with outside seating for sunny days and evenings overlooking the river

Would have liked some milk in the room for tea and coffee, but reception did provide when asked. No complimentary shower caps etc. though there was ample supply of shower gel, hand wash and body lotion.
