Family room with two rooms together, perfect size bed for adults and children. Bath is excellent, shower room is spacious. Breakfast is exceptional and delicious. The location is walking distance to tram stop. Two fast food stores are near the hotel too. Room service for cleaning is 10 out of 10

Toilet and shower room are separated. I feel like you need a tap to wash your hand in the toilet, but there is none.

The hotel is only a year old so everything looked like new. The beds were incredibly comfy which is high praise from a disabled person with hip and back issues. Breakfast was FANTASTIC! One of the best I’ve had in all my travels. The selection is huge. High quality food and actual freshly squeezed orange juice rather than that carton rubbish. They have bee hives outside and honey was a whole honey comb to take from. Absolutely fantastic. The room was lovely. The shower was great. Would absolutely stay here again if the bed issues (see what we didn’t like) are solved.

The bed consists of 3 layers. The base, a mattress and a really thick topper and the 2 top layers moved every time I rolled over so had to get up and push it back into place. The location right next to the motorway makes it great if you have a car but our friends didn’t and getting a cab to the town centre was very expensive (€25) for a trip that took 10 minutes.

location to Delft - but that can't be changed. There were no suitcase 'tables' in the room, but the lovely reception staff delivered one after we asked - otherwise we had the suitcases sprawled over the floor. Though two would've been good. We had requested a vegan breakfast when we booked - and assured that would be doable - like the Van Der Valk supplied in Nijmegen, who did vegan crepes and cooked vegetables amongst a host of other options for vegans. BUT in DELFT we were told 'It's very difficult' to do vegan food at any time of day. We went into Delft and found The Harvest restaurant which is amazingly delicious - might be a great idea to get some say tips from them. Apart from that omission, Van Der Talk in Delft was lovely

Good location although not exactly in Delft but in Den Hoorn fairly close to Delft. However there is a bus very close to the hotel which takes you into Delft bus station/station and you can get the bus back or you can get a taxi from there. Don’t bother trying to get an Uber! Hotel was very good and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Lots of parking outside. Petrol station and fast food outlets etc across the road. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we ate out in Delft. The staff in the hotel were friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean, comfortable and a very good standard. Hotel was easy to find using the SATNAV and was close to the motorway network. We were able to check in straight away so we had a full afternoon in Delft. It was half an hour to the ferry at Hook of Holland.

The hotel is brand new and everything is clean and works very well. The bed was super comfortable, the room was large and well insulated. The AC/heating worked without any audible noise and was comfortable. There is a large parking just outside and access from the highway is easy. It only took 15 minutes to drive to The Hague and about 40 minutes to get to Keukenhof, the purpose of our visit. Breakfast was good and there was a good choice. Dinner was also good.

The reception staff was a bit hit and miss; some very warm and welcoming, others borderline condescendent. The restaurant staff at dinner were among the least prepared I have met lately. there is hardly a thing they got right (wrong order, wrong drinks, food served without cutlery, told us they can't help us with some issues but we should go look for their colleagues, not sure how to cash in ou check). Lastly, I found a grand total of 9 nails (some nails, some screws) surrounding my car in the parking lot on a three meter radius. Something sketchy, if not necessarily ill intended but anyways not reassuring.

Clean modern well designed hotel very convenient just off motorway, lots of parking spaces and EV charge points at the hotel! Nice breakfast and quiet room, staff all very friendly.

Lacking a nice view maybe but I knew this wasn't going to be the most picturesque location as it's just off the motorway. Convenience, cleanliness and modern design and friendly staff made up for the fact that the setting is maybe not the prettiest.

Excellent location just off the A4 and ideal for anyone arriving on the day sailing for Harwich in the UK. Easy parking and the outstanding feature of this hotel was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. As a new hotel it maybe to be expected that they were keen but the Van Der Valk chain certainly had their top team in this recent opening. The rooms were very spacious and well laid out on the basis of years of experience it seemed to me. Everything was to hand and comfortable and the bar on a busy night was still a good place to find a quiet spot for a solo traveller. I paid extra for the breakfast and was very glad that I did. The buffet was varied, good quality and kept fresh by good technology and excellent staff training. On the basis of this visit I would certainly choose Van Der Valk hotels again.

Brand new hotel, opened feb 2023. Very spacious and clean rooms. Nice coffee maker in the room. Rain shower. Comfortable beds. Fabulous Dutch breakfast. Free parking. Wifi works fine. TV with Netflix.

Room service is not provided yet. At the time of booking it’s WIP to be set up. This should be mentioned at the booking website. Without room service cannot consider this a 4 star property yet. No water kettle in room. No tissue in the room, but that was corrected on day 2 of my stay.

Rooms and beds were great Very clean everywhere. Food was excellent. Breakfast was amazing.

Not enough working coffee machines Breakfast staff is not very attentive. Once you checkout the room keys are deactivated, which means you must queue to checkout… and wait a long time. Very inefficient for guests. If you have an issue, even the simplest one, front desk staff is VERY slow at turning up…

There are lots of things to like about this hotel - including great communication from booking through to checking out. I was particularly pleased that they honoured my request for a quiet room. The staff are lovely, the rooms absolutely huge and the facilities felt much more swanky than the price point would suggest, We enjoyed a meal in the restaurant which, although a bit pricey, was extremely good and the breakfast was excellent too. Obviously, it's not in a great location but, for us, it was good that it was near to the ferry and for the motorways to continue our journey the next day. It was also in very easy driving distance of Delft which is a lovely town to visit. I definitely recommend a stay here.
