Stairs only.

Room was large and even had a little sitting area around a small table. Location was very central within close walking distance to the train station and all the main attractions. Royal Delft factory /museum was only 20mins walk. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

I prefer showers not to be over a bath ..but that is just my preference. The room was in an annex ..across the canal from the main hotel but still annoying in the cold & rain if you needed to go for breakfast or speak with staff. A refrigerator was in the room but disconnected. Would have been useful.

We had a beautiful huge comfortable character-ful room in the eaves at the very top of this old building (third floor) overlooking a canal in the delightful old part of Delft. The manager who might have been the owner of this delightfull little hotel was welcoming and helpful, taking our cases up to the room and bringing them down on departure, much appreciated because the final flight of stairs was almost vertical. Lovely buffet breakfast, plenty of choice. Great view, great location in old quarter

Three flights of stairs would have been too much for less able guests and we didn't know about them in advance. One of us uses a walking stick. Cheapest parking in the area costs 30 Euros or more per 24 hours but Phoenix Car Park underground is only 5 minutes away.

The location is very closed to the train station. We stayed on the 3rd floor with 4 street front windows facing two canals. It is the largest room of the hotel. I would not recommend to book the smaller room as the building is old, build in 1798 or 1789, it might be too crumb and won't be comfortable. The hotel has got EXTREMELY steep stairs, it is not suitable for people with mobility issue. The good thing is they would take your luggage up to your room for you. The breakfast were all the same in our 4 nights stay, simple but the person who handled the breakfasts was very attentive. Generally I was happy with the hotel.

The steep , spiral stairways are too much for people with mobility issues.

Fantastic location right in the old town, yet the hotel had a lovely authentic feel, and did not feel at all touristy. Gracious period building, exuding old world charm, yet comfortable and convenient. Staff extremely helpful, including with luggage. Light, spacious, airy room. Nice linen. Great included plentiful breakfast with good coffee.

A logical consequence of the authentic architecture is the stairs. We were on the second floor, and received kind help with our luggage. The alternative would have been a modern hotel with elevators. We prefer the stairs!

Great value for money. I read some reviews, positive and negative to set expectations and I found it actually very good. It was just a night to avoid commuting for my job. Room was great, rate was fine, bed was ok, bathroom was fine. Breakfast was very good, nice warm croissants which I like to go with the coffee. Attentive staff. All in all, a good experience.

Maybe the room was a bit noisy. Building was old and the room directly at the ground floor close to the entry and sitting area. But it's an authentic old building so it's understandable. It didn't bother me.

The staff were so helpful and friendly from the time I booked our 2 rooms and had questions about parking through our 3 day stay. We even got a personal tutorial on the TV so we could watch the UEFA football games and the Tour de France. The location was perfect: right on the Oude Canal with an excellent Greek restaurant, De Kleine Greiche, next door. The Old Town was all around. A breakfast with many options for the entire family was available daily. The bathroom and shower were easily accessible. Plenty of hot water and quick draining shower, not features that are always found in older hotels.

On check in, learned that rooms are located in different buildings in the neighbourhood. I was not in the main hotel. No elevator and stairs are narrow and steep, however staff did carry suitcase up and down! Breakfast was ok...used hotel only once ....nearby cafes were more appealing although a few more Euro!! Very poor lighting, both in the bathroom and for reading in bed. Location is excellent...5-10 minute walk from train station.

Should have been made clear that not all rooms are located in main building.

The hotel is situated in the TOP location, 3 min walking to the city centre. We stayed not in the main building, but also was nice. Old building, big room, very comfortable bed, many good cafes and restaurants around and also if you want to save money there are few places like duner and pizza. The hotel is near to all important places to visit, supermarkets, stores.... The train station is around 10 min walking. The tram No1 to go to Hague is also very near. The stuff is very friendly, helpful, and smiling. If you are by car like us, there are 3 options to park. First is on the street in front of the hotel. It's costs 30 euros and the possibility is only 24 hours' payment. Second is underground parking around 20 euro per day and tird is free street parking 18 min walking.

I don't understand why there is some stuff in the room that doesn't work like a fridge, stoves, or absorber. It is better to remove them and the room will be more beautiful.

BATHTUB ACCESS COULD BE DIFFICULT FOR INVALID OR IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS SAME IS TRUE FOR THE STAIRCASE - VERY STEEP AND NARROW-MIND YOUR STEP!!!
