Not a big deal and not that I didn’t like anything, just a comment but I prefer shower heads that detach with the hose for easy rinsing.

Our room was very comfortable. The shower wasn’t very powerful and didn’t go hot enough but other than that our stay was perfect.

We purposely didn’t put the ‘please service the room’ sign out because there was no need for this to be done every day. However, they still came in gave us fresh towels every day. New towels every day is not necessary.

The motel was very close to the 3-day conference I attended at the university and was recommended by the conference organizers. It was also a short and easy walk to restaurants, the central business district and shops. Our unit was spacious and very comfortable, with a separate bedroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Wheelchair access room booked which had railings provided and an easy access shower. Bathroom is very large. The kitchen well sorted and clean. Location handy to town and great restaurant down the road; Budha Stix

If sleeping in the lounge access to the bathroom was through the main bedroom making it tricky at night for toilet visits. Sliding doors very stiff- tricky to open from both sides. Reported to management and they were pleased to be informed of this issue and said they would address and sort.

Excellent communication from owner/manger. Due to a double booking we didn’t actually end up staying here but they found us another motel directly across the road which was adequate for our one night stay. Travelling from Christchurch for an event the issue with double booking was solved seamlessly with a phone call the day before. Motel arranged for payment at new place on arrival.

Very clean, tidy, warm. 1 Bedroom Unit was very comfortable and spacious. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and stadium. Very quiet. Easy to find and to access. Unit had everything provided.

Only complaint was the Bed was too hard and very uncomfortable for myself with back problems. Although bed was new it needed a topper pad to make more comfortable. I used the extra blanket and bed cover underneath sheet to make comfy as there were no toppers available.

The amount of utensils and wares in the kitchen is sufficient for cooking full meals. We also quite appreciate the complimentary milk being provided for our coffee/tea being a bottle rather than the small packets. The bed was very comfortable and wide enough which more than cover the minor noise downside.

The relative lack of sound insulation in the building so when other guests check out early, footsteps/conversations can be heard and that may disrupt light sleepers, but generally the location is sufficiently quiet.

Situated in a really convenient location, staff is really friendly and room service is excellent.

There’s no exhaust fan or range hood for the cooking area and there were adequate heaters but some are really old and not working properly..

Everything was stunning. Room was immaculate. Beds were comfy & kitchen had everything we needed for the weekend. We checked in late in the evening, the heater was already turned on and our room was lovely and warm. Definitely saving Allan Court Motel to our list for next time we visit Dunedin.

The only thing that was a shame was poor room service as beds were not made once over the 4 days we stayed. Only room service that we received was fresh towels each day. Coffee etc topped up once because we asked. Lack of room service was the only thing that was a let down. The host was exceptional in regard to welcoming us and very helpful. The facility served us really well and we would stay there again. Maybe they were short staffed and will have the room service sorted for next time.
