We booked a self contained one bedroom motel unit with a double in the lounge dining area and single in bedroom. Full kitchen double glazed windows and doors, spacious and quiet. It had no vacancies and a holiday park next door and we never heard a sound! It was beautifully presented, tastefully decorated and everything we needed was in the unit. Very professional and Lovely owner operator.

Shower is low pressure but super easy push button operation and hot water was plentiful. Really there was Nothing we didn't like.

The studio was a welcoming comfortable suite with everything a traveller needs. It was exceptionally clean and was easy to relax in. The location is amazing and it was a great alternative to rushing on to the busy noiseyness of Queenstown. The pub down the road is great and the food of more than city standard. There’s also a great breakfast barn around the corner. The motel and locality is well recommended.

Nothing to dislike

Needed a room at short notice due to snow stopping Our on water activities and was getting to cold in the camper, asked if early check in was available and they accommodated Paid budget price and got more than Expected

No dislikes Only recommendation would be that over time during renovations or upgrades that they install the USB / 230v combo PowerPoints near the bed. Seems to be the new norm in other places we’ve stayed at and convenient.

The view from our cabin was amazing! Loved it! The cabin had everything we needed for one-night stay. The staff was very accommodating for our late check-in. Parking was available.

We were only provided with two sachets of dishwashing liquid, we were expecting a bottle of dishwashing liquid since we did have quite a lot of dishes but we managed. That’s not a huge problem. Loved the stay!

Clean as. Good beds. Adequate equipment. Good heating.

Towels were on the light side, particularly with a wet floor shower ( something I personally regard as an abomination in design - give me a cabinet shower with a dome to keep the room free of steam any day!)

Our room was lovely and sunny, had a reasonable amount of space and the kitchen was well-equipped. The owner was very friendly

It was annoying only having 5GB of wifi. It might have been enough, but we couldn’t do what we had been planning to because we were afraid we would run out. It kept disconnecting too. A minor issue, but very inconvenient: the bowls provided were comically small. This led to a lot of hassle transferring food backwards and forwards, and to us having to eat dinner as two (identical) courses, because so little would fit in each bowl

Nice and cosy place to stay a few nights and explore surrounding. Staff was so friendly and happy to help. Checking in was easy and fast. Quite rooms where you can park cars very close to the room!

All was good, just we were looking for charging our EV on the site with slow charger or connecting to the wall; not possible - however, fast charging facility was available just a few hundred meters far from accommodation.

Good size room for the 3 of us. Well equiped, clean and comfortable. Location was great for what we wanted to do (day trips to Mt Cook and Lake Tekapo) and way more affordable than staying in the bigger towns. Would recommend

Fantastic property, room was much bigger than expected. Had everything we needed plus more, very well equipped kitchenette (one of the best I’ve seen and have travelled a lot). Comfy bed. The place was fully booked, but super quiet. Lovely lady on reception, and gentleman the next morning when leaving (possibly the owners?). Very impressed, will be back!
