We stayed one night after visiting the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. It was very nice. The guest suite was spacious, clean and comfy. We especially loved the outdoor sitting area. It was a nice spot for coffee in the morning. We didn’t get a chance to meet our host, Bobbi, but we communicated via messages. Her check in instructions were very clear and easy to understand.

Perhaps some fresh fruit for breakfast.

Initially I thought that I booked the wrong place, however the photos do not do it justice. Large space, facilities contain all amenities that you require. Water is hot. Heating is great. Breakfast was greater than satisfactory. Also, fresh cows milk definitely made a difference. Very content with my choice after staying here.

The breakfast supplies were very generous and varied. The room was large and comfortable. The view from the back garden was lovely - complete with sheep. It was close to the town and easy to access. The best part was the outdoor bath - we absolutely loved it and enjoyed the luxury after a day of cold black water rafting at Waitomo.

A good selection of food ie. cereal's & toast. Loved the rural setting of peace and quiet, but with a variety of bird songs so close at hand.

We were unaware of what to do on arrival, as there was no one at home. So, made ourselves comfortable as the accommodation was open for us. This is not a negative note by any means. When we did meet, we were warmly welcomed.

Loved the outdoor bath - secure, private and serene. The continental breakfast was lovely. Comfortable bed, everything you needed was there. I didn’t meet the hosts as I was sightseeing all day, but communication was great.

Generous breakfast with options provided including fresh fruit and milk. All the items needed for a comfortable short stay e.g. iron & board, lots of towels. Friendly host and family who waved out or woofed as I came and went. I felt safe and secure.

Beautiful rural location, but not too far from the main town. Easy to find. Modern. Private access, large room, generous continental breakfast, bottled water, tea/coffee. Info on local facilities like eating out, places to visit, etc. Good wifi.

The location was just great for us, close to the glowing warm cave, so we could have an early reservation. We arrived after a few hours of driving, and the outdoor bath was in place Food for breakfast was good. The owners were very nice to talk to.

The room could get hot inside during the summer.

Very clean, quiet and spacious. Although it's part of the house, it has a separate entrance and is completely self contained. Complete ensuite including large shower, but loved the outdoor bath with candles- we just didn't get chance to use it! Friendly couple who run it.

Exceptionally clean, host was pleasant and you could see from everything in the unit that she really cared. Lovely thick carpet, comfy bed, good parking and if you like an outside hot bath on a cool evening this is your venue. Very well equipped kitchen and breakfast offering.

Located on a main route into Otorohonga on a bend so you will get some noise from heavy trucks and traffic during the day eases off towards the late evening. Doesn't detract from the stay however.
