Everything !! We were lucky to be in the executive suite nbr 2 which is the best room of the hotel. We had an amazing view on the forest and the sea, and the hot tub all for ourselves as the other suite was not booked. The suite was huge, well equipped with a coffee machine, plates, cups, and glasses. Tea, coffee, and sugar at disposal. The beds were super comfy and the huge sofa was awesome to wait for the northern lights. The breakfast was delicious and very varied. I got addicted to their waffles. The receptionist was exceptional with us. He helped us with the ferry, explained how it worked, even assisted in planning a back-up itinerary in case we didn’t get it. They also arranged an early breakfast, as we had to leave at 7:30, so they opened the restaurant one hour earlier just for us. We really had an exceptional stay. We’ve read somewhere that the owners have changed and I can vouch that all the previous bad reviews that were written about that place do not reflect the reality now and the amazing experience we had. One thing to be aware of: only the executive suites have access to the hot tub, and only the suite nbr 2 has a view on the forest.

The location was fantastic with amazing views across the snowy landscape. Although we could see distant towns and houses it really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere! The room was very comfortable - great beds and fun hot tub! Restaurant was a beautiful space in the old barn with fantastic views and a small but varied menu.

Removing the hot tub lid was really difficult, especially as the snow from the decking had been piled up next to it so all we could do was lean it against the pile of snow which blocked out any view. There was also no step to get into the hot tub so it made it a bit tricky getting in and out, especially with the ice and snow on the ground.

We booked the Executive Suite and it was lovely! Lots of space and a great view to wake up to everyday. We took the northern lights tour two days in a row, we were lucky that both nights we saw the lights very lightly in the sky during the tour around senjas best viewing spots, rather ironically each night when we arrived back at the hotel the whole sky lit up. So we managed to see an amazing show for minutes both nights we were at the hotel.

The staff were all very friendly and helped a lot, but they were off duty from 11pm after which you were on your own, as well as the fact that they were closed for lunch. But they did supply an out of hours phone number and offered room service at lunch. The shared jacuzzi was not in operation. Or atleast we couldn’t figure out how to use it.

For the first time in Norway, we went to the North of the country to experience the midnight light and the beautiful countryside. We stayed in this accommodation in a family apartment with a bedroom and with a sofa bed in the living room. From here we had a great view through the large windows over the hilly area of this beautiful countryside. In the morning, we enjoyed a very good breakfast that was prepared and presented beautifully. Thanks to the host!

It was our first time in Norway and we loved everything! The apartment had big glazing with amazing views and was very comfy with a fully equipped kitchen. Excellent location to watch the Aurora Borealis lights. Darren who is managing the resort is an amazing host! Always there, very helpful and thoughtful, he booked an activity for us, was texting us when the northern lights were visible and gave us lots of information for sightseeing. The breakfast was super delicious and there was a good and generous selection of food to choose from. We also had fine dining on one night and Michael was excellent in explaining the food origin and matching it with wine. We are hoping to visit the resort again for more adventures!

We liked everything!

Breakfast was varied and fresh. The tasting menu in the restaurant was exceptional. I came here to see the Northern Lights and was not disappointed. It's in the Northern part of Norway and exceptionally pretty. I can definitely recommend the Senja Scenic Route if you want to see the Fjords and breathtaking scenery.

A more varied menu in the restaurant it is Michelin star quality serving a tasting menu and tapas, it would be good to have a more varied "hearty menu" running along side. The staff were excellent.

Everything! The place is massive, with plenty of grounds to explore. The apartments are far apart that you get the feeling that you're the only guests booked. The rooms are clean, and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give you a stunning vista of mountains and lakes as far as the eye could see. The staff, Darren, Nena, Silv and Andrea are all welcoming, helpful and accommodating. There was nothing too big to ask. They are quite happy to have a chat if you need advice on places to go to and things to do in Senja. The town isn't too far to drive to for a quick lunch/dinner or to do groceries to stock up the fridge.

One big complaint is this place won't let you sleep! You have an amazing view of the skyline and you will find yourself constantly staring outside to admire the view and checking if the Northern Lights are out. Of course, you could always close the blinds but why would you 😜

Breakfast was awesome! Brown cheese was served & it was a great spread. The windows for viewing were fantastic. Clean! They made it special upon request for a 40th bday. We rented a hot tub one night. That’s a must.

The lock to the apartment door. You need 2 hands & it took about 20 trys. Even trying to leave from the inside was hard. The bed was 2 small beds put together. One queen bed would have been nicer.

The actual room, and the facilities in the room were excellent. The on-site restaurant was very good, with very helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast was good.

The accessibility to the room was up a steep set of stairs that were covered in ice. Parking was undetermined, lots of no parking signs. Official parking was possibly 400 yards from the property. But this was unclear.

A super place to spend the night or a couple of days. Very well presented and new with everything you need in the apartment. Bigger than expected. Great views. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating.

It was too hot in the sitting area of the apartment because of the strong skylight. Could only open the window in the bedroom.
