Big and comfortable tent. Many sitting areas around the property. Very good food. The staff is extra attentive. Good for families as they have some animals. They offer some small extras like the fire/marshmallow (but it accommodates not more than a dozen people), sleighs, and stargazing.

Needed a second chair for the tent. WiFi didn't arrive to the restaurant. They should mention there is an insurance fee for some activities or they should just include it in the price.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights, which gives you the opportunity to do a guided walk during your full day and enjoy the peace and quiet between check out and check in times. We were in an Ameer tent with a private plunge pool. All good except that there is hardly any shade at the outside area next to the pool. It would be good to cover the seating area.

It is quite a big resort and we were a bit unlucky the first night with a very big group which affected the atmosphere during dinner and breakfast. Especially during breakfast, we had the impression that the staff was not in control . Also, if you have a half decent 4×4 car, it is an easy drive to the resort. Just follow the electrify poles A general observation: we saw quite a bit of trash even in the sand dunes. It would be good if guides who taking people out would bring an extra bag and take the plastic bottles and cans back to the resort for removal.

The location was excellent and met our expectations. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food was very good, but not exceptional; there was certainly an amazing variety available. The tent was very comfortable, clean and the bed was perfect. Loved the star gazing activity and can highly recommend the sunset camel ride. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Every request was responded to immediately. We really appreciated that a transfer into the desert (paid) was easily arranged by the camp.

Overall for being in the middle of the desert, one can not complain. That said, the shower was difficult to moderate, being too hot or too cold and the sink drain was not working well. Also, a mirror was missing in the room. It would have been nice by default to have chairs for the balcony to enjoy the sunrise; however upon request we quickly were provided what we needed.

Our recent 2-night stay was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that set the tome for an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were stunning - spacious, elegantly designed and perfectly in harmony with the breathtaking desert surroundings. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the bedding to the pool truly elevated our stay. Watching the sunset over the dunes was a moment of puree magic. Dining was another highlight. We enjoyed the camel ride, but for us the guided sunrise hike over the dunes was a standout. We were able to connect deeply with the serene beauty of the desert. If you are looking for an indulgent escape that blends luxury with the natural beauty of the desert, this resort is a must.

It was in the middle of the desert, it took about an hour to get there from the pick up point. It had a nice set up and they had camels and oryx, there were also some camels walking around the camp, very nice to see! The tents were nice, the bathroom was a bit rustic for my taste, but overall comfortable. The dinners were delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was nice as well. The servers were attentive and the manager came around to make sure everyone was satisfied. He even let us use his wifi one night.

There is no mobile service unless you use ooredoo, which I don't. There is only wifi in the reception and restaurant and it was in and out the 2 days we were there. The tents could use some outdoor seating as the weather was beautiful. Also, a gift shop with post cards and snacks would be nice.

The camp is absolutely beautiful and creates a magical experience. We didn't want to leave! We stayed over Christmas so it was extra fun and there were free events that were organised by the camp. We had marshmallows by the campfire and a stargazing session with an astronomer as well as live music at dinner. We stayed in the deluxe tent which we really loved. We especially loved the novelty of showering outside. The balcony area was also another bonus. The Arabian Nights restaurant is really nicely done and it's such a nice atmosphere to see all the guests come together each evening. Restaurant staff were nice and helpful.

The check in process seemed slow and chaotic. I think the excursions listed by the camp are overpriced and they don't give enough detail beforehand so you can't book your activities in advance of your stay. I ended up arranging a dunebashing activity myself outside the camp. The WiFi was pretty much non existent. I don't mind if it's weak and only available in the restaurant/reception but we couldn't even access that which made it difficult to arrange some of our plans with getting picked up from Bidiya.

We had a wonderful stay at the 1000 Nights Desert Camp and only wish we had stayed longer than one night! The camp offers so many activities, from a heated pool to entertainment like a live music performance, movie projector and billiard table. While some activities were on the pricier side, the overall experience was nice. The general politeness and very caring attitude of the whole team truly stood out. It felt professional and of high quality throughout our stay. The camp is quite large, which we didn’t realize when booking. Since we reserved two separate tents, we were initially split across two areas. However, the reception team was incredibly helpful and accommodating, working together to find a smooth solution. To top it off, the team came to know it was my birthday & I received a nice small gift with the tent. Special thanks to Sharik, Krishna, Ruban, and Marsha for their friendly smiles and exceptional hospitality. they made the stay even more memorable. We’d love to return for more nights in the future! Highly recommend this camp for a unique and relaxing desert getaway.

One thing I would’ve liked if were improved, however, is the overall taste of the food! We found the variety of the options satisfying but the taste was average for most and good for some (especially the dessert need work)

The food throughout was excellent, a great range of meals available - impressive considering how deep into the desert it is! They provided excellent experiences, both paid and complementary. All the staff were extremely friendly and made our stay special and memorable. It was the highlight of our trip, and we were glad to have stayed in the Sand House for 2 days.

Be prepared to be in the desert and experience all the difficulties that entails - from heat, to wind and general weather conditions. As long as you prepare for it and dress apropriately/have a 4x4 you won't have any issues.

firstly the staff, super nice but it felt like all were trainies from a hotel managment school. we stayed in the ameer tent which had a private pool and i could not belive it was tempreture controled, it was one of the best private pools i have used. we also took a sand dune bashing + high tea sunset combo which was fantastic but a little pricy. They also have an astronomer who conducts a stargazing session which was amazing

even though out stay was great but i still feel the proper needs a little bit of work like we got the most expensive room and it needed paint work and deep cleaning, the edges of the indoor sofas have never been touched by a cleaner i am 100% sure. there were no plug points close to the bed, a very small detail but very important. They have a big dinner spread but honestly most of it was good but they need to work a loooot on food, we personaly did not enjoy the food

Probably a highlight of our stay in Oman. A place for two-three nights a minimum. Exotic place, while very comfortable, with lost of activities available. The staff is very helpful. We stayed at a standard (aka "premium") tent which was spacious, had a massive bed, with additional two beds provided for the kids. The toilet/shower were clean, however please mind that this is a desert camp/tent - so expectations should according (low pressure, water warm, not hot). Food served at the camp was perfect (breakfast and dinner) - exceeded expectations. The camp offers a lot of activities - to name a few: dune bashing; camel rides; quad rides; playground for kids; swimming pool; not to mention that arriving to the camp is a bit of an experience in itself.

Be aware that the nights in the desert can be chilly (~8C during our stay) and our tent had no AC unit with the heating function; I suspect this might have been only our tent or maybe the 'standard' tents. The good thing is that a lot of cuddling is required to stay warm.
