Comfortable, good breakfast. Loved the heater and watwr was hot.

Qelqatani is in the heart of Puno, and a very quick taxi ride to Lake Titicaca. The rooms look like they do in the pictures which is always great, and honestly I thought the beds/rooms were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little less clean (just inside the tub) and the water definitely runs cooler if you are like me and like hot showers. To be clear, the water was warm just not as hot as I generally use! The staff were amazing though, and helped my mom and I book a boat tour of the Uros Islands which I highly recommend. Breakfast was buffet style and tasty. The hotel is centrally located to go see the main square and park as well! Overall, it was a great stay.

The tub could have been slightly cleaner but it wasn't an issue by any means, and the hotel itself was pretty cold (given it was winter in Peru and Puno gets cold that wasn't totally surprising). I was able to keep my room warm with the heater, but I could see how the colder, darker hotel setting could potentially be an issue for folks so I'll mention it here!

i arrived at 5:30 am (yeah... night bus from Arequipa). I waited in the lobby till 6:20, asked if the room was available, and if an early check-in was possible. The room was available, but I would have to pay an extra night. I suggested usually they charge max. half of the room rate. The recepcionist confirmed I would have to pay an extra day in full - she had asked the administrator - because I had a very good rate through booking.com. I didn't like that, and spent the morning doing an excsursion.

The location was excellent, just a few steps away from the center of Puno and its major attractions, restaurants, and bars! The staff was kind and friendly, offering helpful advice and suggestions. After check-out, I was allowed to use their relaxation area to work until my next bus. The room was truly spacious, with a generously sized bathroom. It was the first and only hotel with a radiator (very useful for drying clothes), a very comfortable bed, and a large wardrobe! The breakfast was excellent, especially with its variety.

The hotel was in the prime quiet location not far from the square. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was great. This hotel was the only one that provided a water dispenser to fill my water bottle and I truly appreciated this feature. A good hotel to spend a couple of nights while visiting Lake Titicaca. The reception was friendly and efficient.

The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I found the staff very helpful when it came to getting recommendations, phoning taxis, etc. They even allowed me to change rooms when I discovered that the plug in the bath didn’t fit, as I really wanted to have a bath, so I appreciated that extra flexibility on their part.

The breakfast buffet was good (especially pancakes and juice) but I found the selection a bit limited. It would be nice to have a wider selection of fruit, maybe some kind of cakes or pastries, other things to go with the pancakes.

Huge room, big comfy bed, heating if you need it, plenty of hot water, nice breakfast, staff speak very good English and nothing is a problem. They booked a great tour for us. There's free water refills in reception and 5 m8nutes free oxygen. Perfect location in the centre. We are staying again.

Great overall hotel.It was quite and clean. The girls at the reception were very professional and friendly. We booked the transfer to Amaru Muru through them and it was reasonably priced. The breakfast was good and we even had dinner at the restaurant downstairs two nights in the row because it was also really good. Highly recommend it!

1. Location is the center of Puno. 8 sol for taxi if you take taxi from turismo mer bus terminal. 2. Hotel seems to be a little bit old, but the furniture and decor are stylish 3. Heater in the room. 4. Spacious and clean

1. No kettle 2. I asked for hot water as there is no kettle, but staff tried to ask for 5 sol. I was surprised and I got my hot water for free

The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location seemed pretty safe and was walking distance to the train station. It was a very good value for the money and just as advertised

My issues are more with Puño than this hotel. The streets are not very picturesque
