1) Security is very good. They will always check cars coming in, including the boot and running metal detectors under cars. Also, there's always at least 2 staff at the counter 24/7. With doorman/ security guard at front and back entrances. 2) Location is central and safe. Surrounded by many malls and you feel safe walking around at night. People are always around, including walking underpasses. 3) Facilities. The gym is available 24/7. There's someone manning the counter at all times. The pool is also large enough to swim laps. 4) Short walk to both weekend markets. Salcedo Weekend Market (Saturday) and Legazpi Sunday Market. 5) Great service overall. They have turn-down service every night. Also, amenities are well maintained and clean. 6) Breakfast spread is equivalent to paid quality buffet outside.

The staff at Discovery is amazing - friendly, professional and always with a smile. They made you feel home. The facilities are great and the room has everything you need. Breakfast has pretty good choices (both local and international) and the food at both in-room dining and the Tapenade is just top-notch. Their paella is the best in Asia.

The only thing we were missing is real hot water to take a good bath. At best, it was around 37 degrees. However, the duty managers kept following up on this issue and they even offered us to change room to a different floor.

We stayed here for a total of two nights at the start and end of our three week holiday in the Philippines: - The hotel is only 15 minutes away from the airport - The hotel looks great, and has a number of restaurants inside which are all good quality. - The value for money of the rooms was excellent. The rooms were spacious, quiet and very comfortable with an excellent shower and bath. - The hotel also has a rooftop infinity pool and hot tub, alongside the best equipped hotel gym I’ve ever seen (as in, it’s actually a gym and not just one treadmill!). - There are numerous other services on offer, such as a wellness clinic and spa but we did not try these.

- Nothing - this was one of the best hotels we stayed in the Philippines and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manila.

We decided to have a staycation in the city for our wedding anniversary. Staff were friendly and accommodating. From the front desk, the concierge, the gym staff, the restaurant staff, and housekeeping staff, their service went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you for the surprise room upgrade and surprise anniversary cake. We had dinner and breakfast at Tapenade, food was so good! Also they have the comfiest bed we've ever slept in, among all the hotels we have stayed. This was a great value property. It’s October and thought the food prices were extremely affordable, as well as the room itself. The pool was a great experience, no need to go anywhere to relax. We enjoyed a beer at the bar and great views. I want to point out the included breakfast was a 10/10 buffet. They had everything, I can’t believe that was included on top of the affordable price for my double room.

Bed sizes, won’t take points away, but be aware of bed sizes overseas vs Philippines. I booked two “double” beds for two adults, two kids. The beds were smaller than a U.S. full. Maybe a tad larger than a twin. I would make sure you reserve two king sizes instead, because they do not have Queen in this hotel. Other than that, everything was perfect. Amazing room service food and very comfortable bed and bedding.

My family had a wonderful experience ! We only stayed a night for our early visa appointment. We wish we could stay longer . The staff were very professional, the room was very clean and tastefully decorated (ai especially love the neutral colors, the sofa and bed were very comfortable, the pool was beautiful , the view from our room was Rustan's and Glorietta Mall which was a few minutes walk from the hotel . This hotel is highly recommened when in Makati. I must not forget - the breakfast was absolutely 👌 good ! The people at the breakfast were all so attentive. Thank you for good memory !

Food- Room Service! Everything was delicious, especially the Liempo and Lechon Kawali. Staff- All very pleasant and helpful. It appears though that there were many trainees. Pool- Very nice view and temperature of water was just right for us.

Late check in (housekeeping issues). Though we were allowed to checkout (1PM) The layout of the room (1108) felt smaller compared to the previous one we occupied in the past. But its very clean and spacious. Wrong food delivered (room service). I ordered club house but they delivered hamburger. But that hamburger was so big, delicious and affordable!

My partner and I stayed here for a night to try out the place before moving to an Airbnb for longer-term stay, and we had a great time here. The room we booked was spacious (you could literally do a few cartwheels across the room), clean, and comfortable, the hotel staff were friendly and easy to deal with, and location-wise - it was right across Glorietta 4, which connects to Landmark and Greenbelt so it was really easy for us to see the area and get to the places in general. We'd love to stay here longer the next time we visit, and we recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Makati!

Close to shops, clean, and excellent customer service. Shout out to front desk staff Ezra, housekeeping and dining staff for being attentive and courteous all the time. Everyone was friendly and helpful, makes you feel special. Our stay for more than a week was memorable in so many good ways. Also, by far they have the best gym we’ve seen, bigger and well equipped than most hotels. The pool set up is so inviting and has a stunning view of the city. Highly recommended.

I love the spacious and very neat bedroom and also the pool is outstanding beautiful city view.

Restaurants at 16th floor the service was very slow. I hope that they are more attentive with their guests request. Ordered a beer and it took us 40 minutes before it delivered. I asked twice and even went to the bar “we’re working on it” but my order was just a bottled of beer. And 5 tables are already getting frustrated for waiting too long. Based On my observations there is only ONE server to accommodate 15 tables. I would be overwhelming if I was him yet hopefully management will be aware of what is lacking.
