It was a 2 bedroom apartment and one of them doesn’t have any windows and the ventilation is not very good We had to keep the door open The other thing is that there only 2 tea cups and 2 glasses for 4 people and no one around to ask for more It was with us, as we went out It’s a second floor and no elevator. So if you have a large suitcase and not very strong…

Firstly the communication from the staff was great, they were really helpful and responded quickly - even calling me back out of hours when I left them.a voice mail about arriving late. The instructions were clear and concise, location great - right off the main street, easy to find and felt very safe. The room was lovely, clean and modern with everything you needed. Bed was lovely and comfortable and we were surprised that they came in every day to clean and refresh everything. Excellent value for money and if we return to Gdansk would defo stay here again.

Didnt derract from our stay at all and a bit of a Mute point considering all the buildings are very tall, but lots of stairs - to be expected only mentioning in case people with less mobility were considering - if that's the case ask for a room lower down.

We've really enjoyed our stay at Black Swan House. The location is just perfect, right on the main old town street with lots of sights and restaurants nearby. Host provided detailed directions and all codes, so it was very easy to find the place and get in. Code system made check in and check out very easy, as there was no need to wait for the host. The room itself is quite lovely, there is everything you need. It's clean and comfy. I would definitely recommend this place as this is a very good value for it's price.

We have stayed during the weekend and, as it's main street, it was quite noisy, so it might be difficult for light sleepers (that wasn't the case for us). I guess you can expect it if you book your stay in lively part of the town. Also it was quite hot inside, but sleeping with an open window was not the best option due to the noise. Temperature could be regulated, so again, not the major issue.

Due to my mistake, the staff provided towels only for one guest, even though it was a double room. Yet they quickly replied to my message. The hotel also has lockers which are free to use, which came in handy on the day we were leaving. The location in simply superb!!! It was easy to get there by taxi as well. Very clean room, nice bathroom.

Dealing with passwords and doors can be a bit tough and we have not seen any staff members at all, either in the evening or during room service hours. They reply to messages quickly though

Nice hotel, we stayed in the nautical themed room which was nicely decorated. Good location right in the heart of Gdansk. Checked in late in the evening and access was easy through the codes given. There were good facilities in the room with a comfortable bed, I was worried about noise from some old reviews but everything seemed quiet when we were there.

It was a little hotter than expected for the time of year so we would have liked to turn on the AC, but couldn't find any controls

Everything was great! Firstly I was not sure because of the lack of a window. But this wasn't a problem at all. Of course you won't have sunlight, but for short stays and sleeping is amazing! It can be a little bit dark for some, but for us it was great. The AC works properly. There was water, tea, coffee and a kettle, plus two bottles of sparkling water. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is good, and the shower is okay. It is really in the Old Town. We loved it! It can be tricky going inside, because the gate is silent. Just put the code and push the gate immediately. It will work fine.

Amazing location, just off of Dluga (the long street) right in the heart of Gdansk. Comfortable and clean with excellent air conditioning and a little refrigerator being a great touch. Recommendable for a short stay for sure!

Bed was quite hard, but that can just be personal taste. I would definitely say some darker curtains are needed however, as the current ones really don't keep much light out. Also as noted by others you do have to climb some stairs to the rooms, so might not be recommended for those that struggle with those.

Perfect location with extremely helpful staff. You could not get closer to the main happenings and it’s extremely reasonably priced. The room itself was very clean and comfortable. Only fault was the shower head was pretty dirty but this could be fixed with a tiny bit more care. Would recommend and stay here again!

The location is fantastic, just off Dluga Street. And the room was amazing and enormous! It was really almost a studio. Newly redone, very clean and very comfortable with a large couch area and a smaller "kitchen-type" area with tea- and coffee-making facilities and a mini-fridge. The only thing is that it is a steep climb so it might be tricky with large suitcases. Access was via keypads but the email with the codes was sent only a couple of hours before my arrival so that prompted some confusion: international travelers might not be able to check their emails or have a local SIM card to make calls or receive SMSs on arrival, so it might be good to send those codes 24 hours in advance at least. Other than that however, a wonderful stay and I would recommend Black Swan House to anyone!

Super nice and cosy hotel. Located in the center of Gdansk, lot's of cafes and restaurants around. Clean room and bathroom, teapot, small fridge, water. I arrived late, so I got an instruction how to reach out the hotel and enter my room. There is also self-service locker next to reception, which is very useful and handy.

Stairs are not for big suitcases. But that's an old building, so was expected.
