The location was perfect. It was right in the centre of the old town, between 2 popular streets for restaurants and amber shops but this street was quiet. It's also attached to a lovely fine dining restaurant, Fino, which is recommend. We had a 2 bed apartment which was nice for some space.

Although it looked clean, the carpet seemed to smell in the hall and apartment. I think it might have been shampooed but still seemed to have a stale smell so we aired the place out regularly. The decor is a bit dated. I think a new carpet and updated decor would make this place a more comfortable stay.

I had a lovely corner very sunny room - spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very varied and plenty ofit, as were the beverages and juices offered - excellent, thank you.

A single duvet on a double bed. I move a lot, whilst asleep, so it kept coming off.

Great location in Gdańsk old town, near to the most important attractions. Cozy and spacious room, friendly staff and very good breakfast

Apart Neptun is overally an excellent place to stay in Gdansk! We were in close proximity to all features of the city.( Neptun Statue is 1 street away, train station only a 10 min walk off, Motlawa is a short several minutes walk, tons of bars&restaurant around) Also i might add, from price/quality perspective this place is a gem! I highly recommend it to anyone. Ps. In our last day we tried the breakfast as well. It was quite basic but everything was fresh &tasty.

In our first night there was a slight smell of food being cooked coming from the ventilators in the room but we didnt mind it. However, maybe management wants to get this checked.

I was surprised that the room in this small hotel was actually on two floors. The bathroom, desk, living room, and fridge were on the lower level. Steps led up to the spacious bedroom above. The upper part had slanted ceilings. I don't know about the layout of other rooms, but I would guess that people who are up in the night a lot - or have trouble with stairs - would want to pass on this room. The hotel is close to the historic part of the city, and I was able to walk around the area with no problems. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

The reception area is very small.

Fabulous location. Had a kettle, fan, shower gel, towels, could have breakfast there at an additional cost. Nice sized room. They also stored our luggage for us after we had checked out. Clean towels every day

The walls were very thin. Could hear the noise being made by the neighbouring room. The room next door also had a staircase and an upstairs so I could hear them going up and down stairs and walking around the room above me. I didn't know how to turn the sofa into a sofa bed. My daughter, luckily, was absolutely fine with sleeping on the sofa as it was.

Great location in the old town close to all the attractions, restaurants, and bars. The room was really clean and was a good size with an ensuite bathroom. It also had a safe and small fridge in the room. There were tea and coffee making facilities and the bottled water was replaced every day. I would stay here again.

The room had no air-conditioning, so it was very hot at night. I had to leave a window open because of this, which meant I was awakened by the bin men collecting all the glass bottles from the bars and restaurants at 0600 every morning, which was very noisy. It's not a deal breaker for me, but it might be for some.

Really enjoyed our stay here, loved everything about it really. Close to many sights and beautiful buildings, loads of bars and restaurants (spoiled for choice) the staff, Dominika (I think) Carolina and Chris were extremely helpful and friendly, they were always free for any queries or help. Although our room wasn't ready for us when we arrived, we were able to store our bags safely until it was ready, and our room was upgraded as well which was lovely. Amazing location and such a beautiful city. Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it's absolutely on our list to come again some time.

Nothing much we didn't like really, we had breakfast on one of the mornings, which wasn't really for us, there was quite a bit of choice and looked quite good, but not really for us, not much we liked really other than the breads, cheeses and jams.

The location was great. The apartment itself was laid out nicely and had everything i needed. Plenty of hot water for showers. Did have an elevator.

When i first checked in i asked for advice on what to see and the person almost seemed confused i would ask. She told me there were good museums. The woman at breakfast seemed very inconvenienced at our existence in get world. Breakfast was also much less varied than i expected from pictures. There were no waffles, pancakes, or much else of the sweet variety. The scrambled eggs were almost cold even though in a warmer. Lastly, i had the heat all the way up but was freezing at night. Had to get the spare blanket and wear the warmest clothes i had. Overall it was not a bad place to stay, it just wasn't the best stay over had so in case those items area important to people i wanted to let them know.

This was my favorite place to stay in my month and a half trip through Poland. The hotel is in a perfect location, just steps from the center of the Old Town and two blocks from the river. If you choose a room in the back of the hotel, you have a magnificent view of St. Mary’s Church, one of the few buildings that survived WWII. The adjacent clock tower chimes a different short melody every hour. I loved it. The rooms are very comfortable with quality beds and linens and a comfortable chair to sit on at night. And the staff? Well, I met nearly everyone in a weeks stay, including Tom the maintenance man. They are all outstanding…friendly,warm and responsive.

My small recommendation is to get better pillows to go with the soft linens.
