Very centrally located. Gated entrance into designated car-park (one per apartment) with a grounds-keeper on site during the day. The agent had left the keys with the grounds-keeper, which made it easy to get in and get settled - he turned up a little later to do all of the paperwork. Property has a pool that is staffed by a life-guard who was extremely friendly. There is also a Sauna and a 6 C plunge barrel for the cold phase - not many places have a full-immersion cold pool to go with the sauna! Didn't test the English speaking ability of the staff as all of us are fluent Polish speakers, but got the impression that it wouldn't be a major problem... can't really tell though.
We were there for the TVP New Years Eve celebrations, so it was about as peak season as it gets. The traffic in and around Zakopane was HORRIBLE - try to minimise the amount of driving that you will have to do, and try to walk everywhere especially in the middle of the day. If you have to go out of town, try to do it as early as possible.

A good place to arrive, check-in and ....go directly to the Chapel and/or the Basilica. It's a good place to stay for shorter and/or longer time. Once you stay there, you don't need to travel to have access to the masses and the Perpetual Adoration./// When it comes to the Pastoral Lodge, the staff are helpful and hospitable. The rooms are clean. The cleaing ladies really pitch in to get things done.//// Feel like visiting Cracow and its monuments? If yes, take tram number 8, 10 or 22 (from 15 to 20 minutes). They will take you directly to the city centre.

The staff were excellent! I only stayed a few days so didn't need my room cleaned. The cleaning staff asked am I sure and made sure I didn't need anything, except I got some coffee and milk from them. It's got a great, peaceful atmosphere. It's easy to get into town on the tram. Also really inexpensive. Terrific breakfast included!

For those who want to stay in the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy or close to the Sanctuary of Pope John Paul II, the location is excellent. Beautiful place, good room, good breakfast and very friendly service.
The attendants, although very friendly, spoke english just a bit and did not know more details and information about tourism in nearby places, such as Wadowice and Auschwitz. If the goal is to go to the historic center of the city, it's a bit far away. There was no dinner at night and there are almost no places nearby for dinner.

I enjoyed all my stay. Great location, especially for whom wishes to be close to the Sanktuarium of the Divine Mercy.
The facilities where you can have dinner. Few options, as the restaurant of the Lodge closes at 5pm. However, the staff very attentious gave me option to order something.

Very near Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy which is of interest for pilgrims. Also near tram and train stations.Kiosk nearby. Very helpful staff at the reception. Possibility to have dinner at a restaurant at the hotel.
I sent an email asking for guidance about how to get to the hotel as my plane was late in the evening. The answer was just a link to a Polish website which was rather confusing. I prefer public transport to save money but ended up taking a taxi because the website just vonfused me.

Perfect place, when you want to visit the Sanctuary of the Divine Mercy. Free parking, good breakfast. You can easily get into the city center by public transport - trams 8, 10.
Cleanliness in the restaurant could be better - dirty tables, dirty cutlery.

Clean, comfortable, very friendly and polite staff. No TV set in the room, to me it’s a plus. Breakfast was tasty, everyone will find something for themselves. Tram stop and train station are nearby, the city center is a short tram ride away. Lots of bicycle paths in the vicinity.

Having chosen your stay in this place, you will have great opportunity to take part in everyday Masses either in the Church or in the Chapel. If you stay longer than 2-3 days, you will have the chance to pray in the Chapel for a longer time. It is really great place to pray in silence. I think it's also worth reading some part of the Diary of Saint Faustina over there. *** When it comes to the Pastoral Lodge, the rooms are very clean. The ladies who tidy up, they are really doing a great job. The linen is always fresh and very clean. When you make a reservation with breakfast included in the price, go and drink delicious coffee or tea which they serve with this breakfast (for example, the scrambled eggs with fresh bread are awesome) This place is also located quite close to the city centre: tram number 8 will take you there within 15 minutes. When you are strong enough, you can walk on foot to the Wawel Castle: it can take around 45 or 60 minutes. If you have a car, it's better to park it in front of the Pastoral Lodge and just take tram number 8 which is very modern to visist also other churches and monuments in Kraków. Just come and enjoy your stay!
