Big bedroom (we stayed in the old part of the building), good choice of breakfast, lovely staff.

Evening meals were OK, nothing special - we had hoped to get more traditional Portuguese food. And because there was no other restaurant within walking distance, we found 3 nights eating at the same place a little boring. The jacuzzi wasn't hot enough, so you didn't want to stay in long. The floor going into the changing area was really slippery, so watch out for that.

The hotel is very chic and has a relaxing vibe. I had a great time here and the stuff was very friendly. I recommend this place. The location is in a small village where there are two more restaurants / bars and you can also eat at the hostel restaurant. The breakfast is basic, but there are good fresh fruits which I really liked, it would be great if they could add some more vegan options You can reach the village with bus or by taxi, in case you do not have a car. The pool is nice and you can enjoy it after a hike in the area.

Great pool and grounds with many gardens, verandas, and porches to sit and enjoy the views. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with a lovely staff. There are two parking lots with free parking and many hikes within walking distance. We would definitely stay again. The staff was really helpful when we checked in last minute after finding our other accommodations infested with cockroaches.

The wifi was weak in some areas of our room and the dining room. The hot tub was a little cool but the building the pool and hot tub was in was clean and so modern that it made up for it.

Well kept, beautifully kept grounds, interior decoration, all very clean, and in a good location to explore north of the island. The hotel is very good for the price - nice rooms, we loved the strong shower. Breakfast was good, we had dinner once in the hotel and the food was good (although pricey vs a local restaurant). Service staff where all friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi and pool area is beautiful. Loved the hammocks in the garden to relax! Very peaceful location.

The internet was very slow. The door to the room doesn't seal well so you hear noise from outside. The pool is on the colder side - that's understandable. But the jacuzzi was chilly, after 10 minutes or so we had to go for a hot shower. We and other couples wished it was warmer! The bed was small for a couple, 1.40 I guess, although we slept well.

the hotel was nicely located in quiet neighbourhood, some distance from the main road. It had a parking. Around house it was very green and cozy. The breakfast was good. The restaurant serves good fish for dinner. The room was clean with view to mountains and garden. The staff was very kinda

Everything was great: hotel is newly renovated, clean. Room was a little small, clean and comfortable. No AC, but it looks like, you do not need it, at least in October. Beautiful grounds. Good restaurant.

Pillows are too small. They gave me the second one without problem.1

Location, staff, everything. Much more beautiful than in the pictures, this place is a gem. Will definitely stay here next time when in Madeira

The breakfast were VERY avridge with few options for vegetarians and the instant coffee wasn't drinkable. The pool closes at 8pm.
