The location of the hotel and the whole area around is quite nice. It is a walking distance from central Lisbon where most tourists attractions are and there are some quite nice places for a meal or a drink around the hotel, as well as lots of nice shops if you are in Lisbon for shopping. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Loved the fact you get clean towels and cleaning services in your room every day. The spa facilities and the gym were also very nice and useful to have. There is a restaurant and a rooftop bar that we didn't get to enjoy but seemed good.

What an incredible welcome! The hotel has everything you need - spa, gym, pool, a rooftop terrace, hairdressers, the works! We loved how friendly and welcoming the staff were. They called us a couple of times to check how our stay was, if we needed anything. A five star welcome and service. Room service was also excellent. Ordered a club sandwich one evening and they delivered it hot and the portion was so generous! Absolutely loved our stay and how easily accessible the city centre was to the hotel. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality and for making our trip to Lisbon so memorable.

The staff at The Altis Grand Hotel went out of their way to make us feel welcome and looked after throughout our whole stay. We arrived very late after a delayed flight and our welcome to the hotel couldn't have been nicer. The location is great, in a quiet spot but with easy access to transport and local restaurants/bars etc. Very comfortable bed. Good selection of breakfast options which were regularly replenished. We also loved spending time by the pool and the hot tub, sauna and steam room were all well maintained.

Our bathroom could've done with a deep clean (the shower in particular) and the room was dusty in places. Although the room was tidy and housekeeping did a great job turning our room over each day, we felt for a 5* hotel it needs a bit of a deep clean/revamp. We were told several times 'to be very careful' when walking around the pool area - the floor was extremely slippery even when walking slowly and carefully which made it difficult to move around the area.

I loved the reception staff. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of options. The S Jorge Bar and the Roof top Garden they were both exceptional.

There was a situation that could have been avoided. My mother and I were waiting our room to be made on 7th floor. We have to witnessed a staff who probably was the maintenance supervisor or something similar treating another staff (subordinate) so poorly and with inappropriate language. It would be wrong due to the language chosen by him, but it was even worse because us (guests) had to see this uncomfortable and unfortunate event. It is definitely not a 5 star behaviour. It was humiliating for the employee (subordinate) and shocking for us to witness this event.

Out of the 4 places I stayed at whilst in Europe, this was by far the best hotel. Photos online are what you actually get, which is rare! The room, breakfast, gym, relaxing lounge to sit, and spa were all exceptional. But it really is staff that make the place a 10. From the moment I arrived, everyone was professional, super friendly, and ensured my stay was comfortable. This place is worth what you pay for as the staff are outstanding. ...also one last thing, my room had a real hairdryer! Not one of those hotel ones attached to the wall that barely works. As someone who does their hair every day, this helped so much.

Everything was perfect for me, I don't have any complaints or things I would change. Maybe future upgrades could involve a smart TV, but that's all I really would recommend..

I liked the room, the rooftop bar is also pretty nice. The spa area is clean and spacious with so much natural light. I enjoyed the views at the rooftop bar. The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming.

I didn't like the attitude of the staff in the rooftop restaurant. I showed up for lunch and the door was closed. Some guests got impatient and starting knocking on the door as the opening time had passed. The restaurant staff told them to wait in a strict/angry tone. I find this rather impolite and unprofessional. If you are late for opening, at least be apologetic not angry. I would have not eaten there had I not been late for a meeting. The food was rather bad too. Do yourself a favor and don't eat at the rooftop restaurant.

well located close to the city center. has a lot of restaurants and spa facilities. unfortunately we didn’t have time to try them out. reception staff very friendly!

the cleaning staff are very superficial. the left 2 cups of tea for 2 days before cleaning them.

The hotel is in a nice location, 10 mins walk to the of the city. Beautiful when u walked into the main foyer, the staff were very helpful and kind. They gave us some helpful tips to explore the city. The bedroom was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, had so much selection to choose from hot to cold. We even ate in the hotel restaurant and it was again a very lovely meal. We had a couple's spa which was amazing, felt so relaxed after walking so much around the city.

The lighting was very poor in our room, esp for a woman like me who likes to dress up and apply makeup and do my hair. There was no plug socket near the mirror to do my curl my hair, which was a bit annoying. For a 5* hotel they didn't have Netflix available, for us to chill in our rooms after touring the city.

When I arrived with my taxi at the hotel, an employee checked how much I had to pay as the taxi driver tried to charge me too much. That already impressed me! Also, at the reception, they solved a booking problem that I created, supported me in finding pleasant places for dinner and rebooked and checked in my flight. Fantastic Job

It is a little bit more expensive than other hotels, but every cent was worth it.
