The location is absolutely outstanding! With a beautiful pool and a great beach. Both have a restaurant/Cafe bar we found very convenient. The grounds are well maintained with beautiful shrubs and flowers. Working elevators. Apartment size was good 2 bathrooms with good showers. Great private terrace. Grocery store within 10 min walk. Very easy walk into the town square. Fantastic to be able to walk into town for coffee or dinner. The property manager was really great and responds quickly.

The beds must be replaced, New pillows both are seriously required. The bed was awful! Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be nice. Only 2 English channels both news.

The apartment was a two minute walk from the Costelo Sao Jao. If you like to walk and hike, this is the perfect place. It's at the top of the hill, inside the outside walls of the Costelo. We love to walk and hike up the hill from the Alfama area is a 15 minute all up hill walk through a maze of alleyways and narrow streets (which we loved). But if you have small kids, they are going to struggle. The kitchen is well equipped with an awesome coffee maker! Hot showers! We'd stay here again.

We had the 4th floor 3 bedroom flat, which has great lighting but not much of a view. The views are of the walls to the buildings next door or the school across the street. It is nice to have those views though, just not the views overlooking the courtyard with the river or city in the back ground. The bathroom is really tiny. The shower drain is clogged, super, super slow drain. The shower is also small. If you are a big person, you'll be hitting the water knob constantly changing the water temperature.

Well situated with very good and not too expensive restaurants nearby. Asked for recommendations and was very well served.

Very hard to get up the stairs. No specific directions to pay the tax. I thought there would be someone to pay it to on arrival but there wasn’t. Then I got a text saying they had come by to get it but it wasn’t there. No clear instructions on where I was to leave it. When I asked they said “in the box”. What box? Finally found out but it would have been better to indicate upfront. The peacocks scream all night so don’t expect to sleep much. It has its positives but not worth the expensive price for lack of sleep.

The location is perfect, in the core of the old city centre. Also, the premises are in an old authentic building and even though they are small, one has everything needed. Rooms are cold and fresh due to thick old walls made of stones :) The Castle of St. George is fantastic, with several panoramic viewpoints...small parks, many coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops... No traffic except for vehicles with permission... All in all, great!

The only small drawbacks are stairs within the building. They are fine, but not easy to use and safe for older people and potentially for tall people, e.g. over 1.80cm... One should be careful with narrow footsteps.

The location, right next to the castle, was perfect! The VIEW from the window, absolutely sublime !!! (The photos of the room don't do it justice, you should add pictures of the view from the window because it is so beautiful! :) ) Just these two things made it 100% worth it! The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean.

The two double beds (sofa beds) were really not comfortable with a hard bar going through the middle. The two single beds in the other room were fine! :) The bathroom was reeeeeally small for 6 people, but it's not the end of the world.

It is a historic building, and the area is great, you can move through the city in any direction from the castle

Pretty well everything. The single beds are a bit narrow, but comfortable. And the bathroom could use two hooks for towels but otherwise It was great. The stairs are narrow and steep and tricky to get up with a suitcase, we managed but they are probably not great for anyone over 75 years of âge(with suitcase)

The best of the apartment was Luis who welcomed us really nicely, and made the whole introduccion to the city easier. The apartment was nice, clean and had everything we asked for. We had the apartment with the terrace for seven and it was a lovely stay.

There are just a couple of things that were a bit of. First of all the soap on the bathroom smelled really bad and was unusable. Apart from that the, single bed/sofa is also trully uncomfortable, so keep in mind if you are 7 using the apartment, someone will not sleep very well.

The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is in an absolutely excellent location right next to the entrance to Castelo de Sao Jorge, while the large new Pingo Doce supermarket is only 5 minutes away and Rossio metro station is only a 20 minute walk away, while Baixa station is 25 minutes away. The apartment was very spacious, clean, tastefully and practically furnished, thanks to the fans and shading it was pleasant all day long and there were wonderful views of either the castle or the Tagus river and the center of Lisbon (you won't take better photos than from the apartment even in the center of Lisbon) . For accommodation, we would like to especially appreciate the following: - we really appreciate the communication with the hosts - specifically Luis and Paula - which was fast, efficient and without any problems. We always knew who to contact about what and every time that person really helped us. Communication was effective from the time of booking to check-out. - apartment equipment, including wine, capsules with coffee and tea, which were prepared in the apartment - the facilities of the apartment, which were clean, practical and quite sufficient for three people (possibly more), it was completely quiet at night and had a pleasant air during the day and coolness at midday, when it is otherwise hot and stuffy in these places - the location of the apartment, which was right next to the vast majority of important tourist attractions, the entrance to the subway and the supermarket - easy check-in where we just let Paul know and collected the keys from the box based on the instructions (there was no problem even when our plane was delayed) - once again great communication with the accommodation representatives and clear instructions from them...probably the best we have encountered so far in our travels We can warmly recommend the accommodation as an absolute top within Lisbon, for 3-6 people.

The house is very nice. You should know that it is on a hill. I recommend that when you arrive in Lisbon, go to pc. figuera square and from there take bus number 737 to the last stop Castelo. After that, it is easy to walk to the house.

I can't say that I didn't like it. Only the bathroom is small and the stairs are very narrow. Keep this in mind.

Wonderful location, as long as you do not mind walking up hills/ stairs (which I did not mind). lovely peekaboo views from the windows, ample space to hang out, lots of comfortable beds. good for a larger group. Host was responsive when we had an issue with the sink and fixed it right away.

The bathroom is very small, but we were able to make it work.
