The location is the best! Walkable to Baixa, Chiado, Alfama areas. 5 mins from Rossio Square for metro & train station. Facilities has a common kitchen area, nearby grocery store & laundry mat. Pictures of rooms are accurate. Check-in is easy, but need to follow directions & go to Memoria Hotel. Staff informative & excellent.

Property needs to have an motion sensor light in the stair area as it’s very dark. Would like to have a safe in room. Kitchen needs paper towels/sponge. Note: there are 30 steps to guest house.

Had issue with shower leaking, Staff fixed straight away. Walls are VERY thin, can hear talking in next room. It’s a guesthouse / Apartment so share hallway and kitchen with other rooms. Can hear everyone walking around, coming and going etc, so not great for light sleepers.

Clean, comfortable. Attractive once inside. Great location. Check in person was very nice, but not as helpful as at all our other hotels. Others volunteered maps and helpful points of interest/services and had more information.

They didn’t send us a message in advance to explain how to get in and give us a PIN number, like our other hotels. The shopkeeper next door had to send us up the street to check in. The check in person mixed up our rooms and gave the nicer, more expensive room we had reserved and paid for to our friends, and they were already unpacked and comfortable as they’d checked in first. Our room was small, and the one window looked out to an unattractive dead space with bars. The entryway up to the rooms was shabby, but rooms were clean and attractive. Plumbing fixtures were loose and the shower overflowed easily. Still, I would stay there again in the larger, lighter balcony room. It was pretty.

AC was very usefull on a hot day.

Shower hose and shower head need replacement at room 6 as it was leaking and also shower water fosset was impossible to adjust water temperature. Either cold or super hot..probably just bad quality product should be easy to fix..

The accommodation is located in a beautiful old building and the location is incredible! We were close to absolutely everything (including "Bifanas do Afonso", which are just in the corner and absolutely delicious). The suite was clean and very spacious. As the rooms are inside an old apartment, there is a kitchen which can be used by you and the other guests.

A perfect location for exploring Lisbon, it’s right in the heart of the city. Excellent value for money and it’s definitely not your normal soulless hotel bed factory, rooms are in a converted merchants house with big window shutters that keep out any noise at night! Don’t be put off by the name Guest House, there is no Mrs Nylon here!!! Reception is in Memoria Hotel across the street with extremely helpful and friendly staff.

The entrance hall is behind 2 big traditional doors we fed back that the rubbish in bin bags that is kept behind big cupboards in the entrance hall could be collected more regularly as it did not fit in the cupboards, it was more it being unsightly than a problem. Minor point but noticeable when you arrive.

Very nice little guest house with quite a spacious room, good shower, and in a very good location. The personnel of the hotel that runs the check in, was extremely helpful, I could use their lobby and wifi for some work calls after my check out and they also helped me with issuing a specific invoice.

The sound insulation could be better, when people in neighbouring rooms come back home at night and take shower - you can hear everything, even the earplugs don't help much. But I guess it might be just me...

Beautiful room in a charming building, with nice street view.

The bathroom was not as nice as the room: cold lights, occasional smell from the drain, and could have used some better cleaning.

We liked the location. we were within walking distance to main areas but away from the noise. We liked how clean and comfortable our room was and the so cooks shared kitchen.

One minor thing was the AC system made a loud noise consistently through the night which was annoying. Also it would be better if a member of staff from reception walked customers to the guesthouse as it was a little confusing the find in the heat and we had to go back and ask someone to come and show us.

We actually stayed in Memoria hotel (upgraded), the location was excellent, we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was fresh and a lovely choice. Tea and cake at 5pm was a lovely gesture. Our room was exceptionally clean everyday with a stunning view. The staff, Lara and a young man with dark hair we're so welcoming and friendly each morning. We loved out stay here and would definitely recommend! Thank you
