Nice atmosphere, goood breakfast, kind people, good location. Fresh baked pancakes, and good scramble egg in the morning, made by 2 smiley girls. 😊

The staff is amazing. All of them. Especially Resu. He always made sure my stay was the best. He even cooked for everyone! It has a very nice, varied and complete breakfast with bread, eggs, crepes, fruit, ham and cheese and several spreads. The beds are very comfortable
It doesn’t have a lift. Taking a shower there ir a nightmare. The bathrooms are ok, but the showers suck. The floors are very noisy as well so it tends to be very noisy if someone comes in the middle of the night even if they are mindful about it. Also, be careful with dropping things from the bed because they are screwed into the walls and it is really difficult to get that thing back if it gets between the bed and the walls (speaking from experience). Anyway Resu was there and saved the day!

10 out of 10 for every single member of staff who made my stay enjoyable and comfortable, for the amazing breakfast and for cleanliness. The location is perfect for sightseeing with free walking tours leaving from the square.
The design of the shared bathrooms is very poor. They look unfinished, offer little privacy, have no shelving and there is the most ridiculous sink I have ever seen. Dorm rooms overlooking the main square have a great view but are very noisy. Rooms are on the upper floors and there is no lift.

Breakfast was great. Receptionist was helpful and friendy. Room was big enough. Lock system to keep your luggages under bed was decent. Kitchen and gathering room was inviting.
Toilets were so small its impossible to move without touching walls or door or worst toulet itself. I avoided wc when its possible. Showers were uncomfortable cause they were directly next to bathroom door and bathroom door was usually left open by others and everyone can see you showering both men and women. I hated showering there.

overall experience, staff and location super nice. really special and homey my time with them. thanks soo much, once again! after a very stressful time, i felt welcome from the very beginning. definitely a place to stay!!
one morning at breakfast time i was shaken when one seemingly senior kitchen-staff member was shouting to another one and directing her in a way that was not appropriate, i felt. the lady which had to endure the scene, prepared the most beautiful breakfast a day earlier and created a much nicer atmosphere,-calm and easy, than that seemingly person in higher "rank". aiaiaiiiiaiii.

The location was great! Near bus, metro and train stations!
There was no mention of it not having an elevator! Our room was on the top floor, and had to take the stairs carrying our luggage, though Daniel was so kind enough to help carry my colleague’s luggage. It would be important to mention this in case people with mobility problems accidentally book the property. Also, the bathroom door is a glass sliding one which tends to get stuck, we had a hard time opening from the inside. It would be nice if they do something about it for future guests.

The location of this hostel is excellent and most of the places to visit are at a walking distance. The staff is courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to help when I lost my luggage (while travelling from Porto to Lisbon). I called them (before checkin) and explained my situation of missing a bus and lost luggage. Big Thanks to Kamal and Daniel who were able reach the bus location on time and got back most of my luggage (iphone, laptop and many other expensive souvenirs recovered back). I can’t imagine what I would have gone through if these guys had not taken my panic seriously. I would recommend this hostel to solo travellers specially if they are looking for safety, excellent location, comfortable beds and are ok with walking up the stairs and decent clean bathrooms. I would surely book with them again whenever I travel solo again.
This hostel doesn’t have elevator so need to take down your luggage during checkout. But while check-in their courteous staff helped me in carrying the luggage upstairs.

The desk staff are the best, 10/10 top tier. All friendly, all helpful, they really go out of their way to help and make you feel comfortable and welcome. They absolutely make up for some of the hostel's shortcomings and deserve raises. You can store your things there anytime hassle free. The location is the best in the city, literal feet from the Christmas Market in the center of downtown. Nice reasonably priced bar and included breakfast.
These are mostly minor gripes but should be said. Some dorm rooms have curtains and some don't. Dorms should always have curtains no exceptions. At least one room has an awkward layout where I was in the dead center of the room on a top bunk surrounded by people and I have to swing around the ladder to use it. Bathrooms are awkward with doors that don't automatically close and showers in direct line of sight of those doors so sometimes you're showering and can look out into the hallway and vice versa. Up to neck is opaque but still awkward.

Location was absolutely fantastic. Close proximity to most major attractions or just a short distance to them. I used the all trails app to traverse and explore the city and the hostel being so central was super convenient to get back to bed.
If there was ever a gripe it would be that one male toilet door so super close to your knees making it virtually impossible to use once finishing your deeds. Getting in and out of the bunk was task only gymnasts would have no issue with lol. I liked the challenge regardless. I often used the toilet located in the reception area.

The location is amazing, easy to get anywhere, full of convenience stores around as well as cafes, restaurants and many sights. Staff is great, very communicative, friendly and open to answers questions or give the best tips where to go. Breakfast is really good. The common area is very cosy, a good place to relax, work on your laptop or mingle. I stayed in the female bedroom which was great, each bed has a locker so you can keep everything well stored. They also provide towels.
The bathroom is missing a few things like something to hold the toothpaste or other things while brushing your teeth or using the mirror. The doors for the showers are a bit transparent so if someone forgets to close the main door of the bathroom it can feel a little uncomfortable.
