The nicest staff anywhere. Super clean and organized resort with fun for the kids at the game room and water park, which was soooo fun even for mom. Palomino island was beautiful and a huge bonus. Lobby was gorgeous. Views were gorgeous. Landscaping was gorgeous.

Could've used more healthy food options for kids than the normal carb heavy foods. Wish there was also more fresh fruit and veggie options. Felt I gained 10lbs on the trip. ;) Wish horses were available to ride on Palomino. Left a sweatshirt on Palomino right in front of the staff building but they didn't keep it in lost and found, which was the only time the staff didn't exceed expectations.

Incredible property with breathtaking views! We did not want to leave. Resort has so many perfectly thought of amenities. the restaurants, water park, pools, private island trip. we are definitely coming back.

bathrooms in the brisas wing were outdated and there was poor bathroom ventilation which made the room humid.

Friendly staff, everything was clean and the amenities and facilities are great. It is one of the best hotels in PR. Loved the water park. Will definitely be coming back.

They need to remodel the bathrooms.

The views and the landscape were spectacular! It is located on the side of a cliff with the ocean view on one side and the beautiful golf course on the other. PR, in general, is not known for great customer service, but the staff here was great! Eveeyone was attentive and friendly, even the grounds keepers and maintenance personnel. If i am not mistaken, this is an independently locally owned hotel, which makes the service level even more impressive. There are ample swimming pools and each one more beautiful than the last and all overlooking the ocean. Pool tables, tennis, table tennis, and boat trips to "Palamino" their private island was a fun 15-20 minute ride. The island was beautiful and serene. There are plenty of free loungers with umbrellas and you can rent jetskis .There is also a restaurant and a convenient store, oh! And clean rest rooms! At the hotel, there's a buffet or a la carte breakfast at "Ventanas"and there were several other restaurants on sight. We ate at the buffet daily and at the Mexican and the poolside restaurant a few times. The food and service were good. I had been here before years ago when it was Wyndham and liked it then....I love it now!

No surprise, restaurants were pricey, which is often the case at hotels. But we knew the area, so we were able to venture out a few times for dinner.

Located about an hour east of San Juan, away from the crowds and hustle of the city. The views are great, rooms were quite spacious with lots of storage space. Water park, hot tubs and pools are very nice, well maintained and were never crowded. All restaurants and cafes had good variety and quality of food, service was also great.

Food is a bit expensive, but the quality and service justifies the cost, and prices are on par with what one might pay at any resort. It can take up to 30 minutes to get to the parking lot due to the funicular ride wait times and long walk through the lobby and then to self parking. Getting to the fitness center in the morning also took upwards of 20 minutes due to only one tram operational. The private island is just okay, as it takes a 15 minute ferry ride (that needs reservations) one way. The beach itself isnt crowded, but isnt very large either, and there was a lot of kelp/ algae floating around. There is not much else to do on the island, like hikes or exploring other parts are not allowed.

Private beach and water park were reasons I booked this location for teenage kids. Also received great reviews.

The food wasn’t the best. I was expected much better food. The dining dine restaurant upstairs the best meal we had. Venetta was the worst- including breakfast and dinner. The last night my neighbors made loud noise and music from 12 midnight until 4 am. I called security at 1:30 AM. I would hop this caliber up report would have security down halls often to handle these things. Sad way to end a good vacation. My family and I got no sleep at expensive cost.

Where do I begin. The moment we pulled up to the statuesque el conquistador I knew I chose the right place. Photos did not and could not capture how stunning this property is. The Grecian white facade against the popping shades of green lush tropical grounds are truly what Caribbean vacations are made of. Glimpses of teal water peak through every crevice of this property. The pools are grand, not overcrowded and there was always a chaise waiting for me. The DJ and music at the pool was a surprise & mixed trending music with older as well with a PR twist. Multiple restaurants to choose from, my particular favorites Bono, their fine dining and the Cantina which is poolside. Honorable mention to the upper level terrace restaurant overlooking the pool. My husband says it was the best empanada he’d ever had. The drinks there are spectacular and the ambiance and sweeping views of the ocean and the cliffside jaw dropping. I also loved the wine bar… It was quaint and felt like a Spanish winery we stumbled on perfectly placed across from the ice cream shops (yes, two). Moving into our room, the deluxe marina suite was gorgeous and once again pictures did not do the space justice. The space was beautiful and well thought out. We had a spectacular bath, modern with a Spanish twist. Tons of storage for clothing etc. We had a fairly private deep balcony that was wonderful to start and end our day on. Palamino island; ferry ran lock clockwork and was enjoyable and under 15m. The island is outstanding! The water is warm and clear, the sand like powder, the restaurant has excellent food, the poke bowl excellent as was the ceviche. Don’t miss the store there - excellent beer and seltzer options. Smoothies and beach gear as well! Lastly, perks like the smoothie a is bowl shop, 6 shops that I counted that has everything from kid stuff to stunning swim attire and hats.

Rooms spacious and clean. The view from our room was incredibly beautiful. Lots of food options/ restaurants. Boat to Palominos beach was wonderful and fun! Coqui water park was amazing! Loved the lazy river and water slides. Fun atmosphere at night with live music and lots of restaurants/bars open every night until 11pm.

Ask for a room away from the staff closets! We got a room right in front of the staff’s supply closet. We were startled from sleep every morning very EARLY with cursing from one of the staff members. We did not mind that they were working and talking, as one tends to do that on the job. But we DID mind all of the LOUD cursing (that my kids heard) right in front of our door(caught in video). One of the staff was talking on her phone right in front of my door, cursing away. Was talking and cursing on her phone leaning against our door for 20-30 mins. Even when I jiggled my door handle or knocked on the door, she would not move or stop. We did not confront her or say anything, as we feared she would retaliate. The rest of the staff was so friendly, kind, and helpful.

Lots of options for everyone. Pools, beaches, restaurants. Staff were all kind and responsive. Gorgeous property and views. Lifeguards who care. I can’t remember the last time I remember seeing life guards at a resort. El Con had up to 5 on duty at times at the water park.

Some of the food. I was especially disappointed in the little seafood I ordered. The resort was supposedly sold out but it felt very empty most of the time. To some, this would be a positive! I know that they are still rebuilding but I’m not sure that’s the primary reason. I feel like a bigger contributor is that most of the guests are there for corporate events. Shower/bath is a lawsuit waiting to happen, in my opinion. If it isn’t the recessed and slippery tub that gets you then it will be the scalding hot water. Self-parking. I wasn’t allowed to temporarily park the car in the drop lot (front door) during checkin. Spouse checked in while I parked and hiked back. I didn’t receive an explanation on the proper entrance/exit process until day 4 or 5.

The RESORT was beautiful, beautiful location, beautiful scenery, just a beautiful resort. It’s sooo big and has everything you need on this resort. We stayed by the marina and it was easy access to the ferry to Palomino and Conqui water park. It was a little far to get to the main lobby, main pool and etc. Overall everything was great!

I didn’t like the bed, it was hard to be honest. Also the shower was constantly dripping water out when we showered so we needed so many towels to make sure the water doesn’t take over the restroom. Overall it was great stay
