The location was great (MRT and bus stops are near and only a short walk from Boat Quay). The rooftop pool was lovely and open late and early enough (7.00-22.00). The rooms were clean. Breakfast was interesting but good (seven different options, no vegan or gluten-free options available) in a lovely café (right next to the hotel), which was popular also among locals.

The rooms (and bathrooms) were quite small but enough for two people for five nights. There was no luggage room - or actually luggage room was the lobby.

this is my 3rd time in this hotel. staff are so nice, special mention to Joan and the other pinay staff. they are very helpful to us. the place is very near the train station and very accessible to transportation, malls, convenient stores and resto, walking distance to china town. the breakfast is great- authentic nasi lemak. room is always clean and really cold. the water heater is also functioning well.

they dont provide soap, shampoo anymore. there is no bidet.

Location was excellent! Situated very close to the MRT (train station), lots of night life, food venues and things to do.

I knew the room was going to be small but even I was shocked at how small. I travelled with my 16 year old son and although we got used to it, it was very tight. I wasn’t too bothered by this but I know if I was with the Mrs, we’d of struggled! Especially as the shower was next to the toilet so you had to sqeegee the water off the walls, floor and toilet every time you showered. The roof top pool was great but the tiles around the pool was very slippery and even knowing this I managed to half slip and break my toe. The Gym was non-existent, just an empty room unfortunately. staff were courteous and friendly. We stayed during the F1 Grand Prix so paid a premium to stay there.

Location was great, staff were friendly, the bed and pillows were comfy. We loved the roof top Pool! The cafe next to the reception serves delicious food. There's a handy laundry place across the street. It's clean, good value for money! Close to a train stop and easy access.

The room was very small. There isn't anywhere to unpack your clothes apart from 4 hangers and one small hook. There wasn't a gym, it may have been in the process of being refurbished. It was a small empty room with enough space for one yoga mat.

I did my research before booking my room so knew it would be small, windowless with a compact bathroom. It delivered! The room had everything I needed for a place I didn’t use much. Comfy, clean bed and decent linen, fridge, tea making facilities, and an ongoing supply of disposable toothbrushes! The pool was a welcome relief - and breakfast (included in my rate) at the cafe next door was also great. Good location for sightseeing. If you want something cost effective in a very expensive market, don’t mind a basic approach, and don’t intend to spend much time in your room - this could be a good option. I was travelling alone. Sharing with a partner for any longer than a night or two would make things a bit tight with this room option.

The floor I was on was a bit damp and airless smelling - needed fresh air in the corridors, but my room was fine. I did opt for ear plugs as the AC/dehumidifier was a bit loud (and screechy kids outside but their parents fault, not hotel).

The hotel offers the most amazing breakfasts, with a variety of dishes to choose from in the café right next door – definitely a highlight of the stay. The location is ideal, and the room had a large window.

It would be great if, in addition to blackout curtains, the rooms had sheer curtains to provide privacy during the day. More lounging spots by the pool would be a welcome addition, as there are currently only two sunbeds and one sofa. Lastly, the room’s soundproofing could be better – while we didn’t have neighboring rooms, the poolside restroom was on the other side of the wall, making daytime noise quite noticeable.

I stayed here with my 6 year old daughter and we really enjoyed it. Although the rooms seem small at first, they are so clean and cater to all your needs! We had a water filter, the shower was lovely, the fridge and safe were ideal, the air con was very good and we were pleasantly surprised that we were able to login to our Netflix on the tv! There is a 7 11 next door which we loved for late night snacks and it was handy to get a sim card there too when we first arrived. The location is great. 30 minutes walking from Gardens by the Bay, right beside the metro and lots of food options nearby. The roof top pool was a bonus.

Spotlessly clean. My deluxe double room was small but adequate for one, however it would have been very cosy for two, but it did have a queen size bed and a small but perfectly formed brand new bathroom. The bonus for a hotel in this price bracket was the fact that it had 2 lifts to all floors (6 floors) and a rooftop pool - not huge but well kept. The whole place appears to have been renovated recently.

There was a tiny fridge and kettle provided, but no other catering facilities. There was a tiny 24/7 7Eleven mini-mart next door, and a coffee shop on the other side but this was only open during the day. Staff were friendly but not proactive in offering assistance.

I tried for a long time to choose a hotel based on the price-quality ratio, and I didn’t regret choosing this hotel. Considering that we left in the morning and came back only in the evening, the stay was comfortable. The hotel isn’t new, but the room itself was quite freshly renovated and had a comfortable bed. Really good for budget kind of hotel. Yes, the shower is almost over the toilet, but this is a quite common story for Asia. The bathroom had a special mop for water, which quickly and neatly removed the water.

Hotel centrally located, within walking distance of Chinatown and other highlights. Room was compact but had everything we needed for a one night stay. There is a rooftop pool (6th floor) which provides a view over the local area and a (very) small gym (1 treadmill, 1 bike). The breakfast was located in an adjoining cafe and was very good value (European or local breakfast). The hotel was spotless and the staff at reception were very helpful (we arrived late) and were able to help with directions/recommendations. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel which took about 25 mins for $38. When returning to the airport from the CBD we took the MRT which took about 50mins but cost $2. If you have time use the MRT, it's excellent value and you can use your bank card to tap on/off for tickets.

Room is small and shower/toilet is a compact room. It was perfectly fine for one night but there is no storage (a rail with 3-4 hangers) so would feel a bit claustrophobic for longer stays!
