In a great location, feel safe walking around at night. Close to the tube and Paddington station. Very clean and all the staff were so lovely and very helpful.

The rooms were a little small but I expected that due to the type of building

Breakfast was on a Continental basis. With different breads and pastries, selection of meets and cheese. Very functional.

Great location for us to see concert at Hyde Park. A short walk from Paddington Station and lots of pubs/bars nearby. Really helpful and friendly staff. Clean room and clean bathroom. I’d stay again.

Very small room. Would’ve liked to have had a hairdryer, bigger tv and more sockets. Had to move dressing table to get to sockets to charge our phones. Could hear lots of noise from surrounding rooms, not because other guests were particularly noisy just poor sound proofing. If I stayed again I would look to upgrade and not pay for breakfast as there were so many places to eat at nearby.

The location is wonderful! I like that there is a reception and someone always there if you need them. People complain about the size of the hotel rooms and being old, it’s London, many hotels if not all, in that area are old! I’m grateful I have my own bathroom and it’s clean. There is an elevator!!! I think the price is reasonable. I love that there are so many options to have coffee and diverse selection of restaurants. Close to underground, buses, Pubs, Paddington station, not to mention beautiful Hyde Park. I absolutely love this area and I will stay at this hotel again.

I’m realistic and love this central and nice hotel.

I really liked the location of the hotel. The room I was given was quite spacious and equipped with suitable amenities. I especially appreciated the staff service as they were very thorough with the cleaning. The shower in the bathroom has a powerful water pressure.

I wished that the bathroom was bigger, but that seems to be a general issue with hotel rooms in London. I also wished that the curtains were blackout curtains. There is an option of stowing luggage before/after check-in and check-out, but there is a charge of 5GBP. The lifts are also quite small and only allow 2 passengers per journey.

beautiful building and lovely warm rooms as weather was really cold outside, staff really friendly and welcoming great team. breakfast was lovely and fresh and constantly refreshed to meet all needs

could do with wheelchair access from the street, access in the hotel was great, could do with a larger family room to accommodate a disabled adult who is fully dependent on a wheelchair and who needs to stay with both parents, apart from that staff were more than helpful allowing us to keep the wheelchair in a secure place as our group member was able to walk short distances

We’ve been coming here regularly since 2021,for an overnight stay, and all the staff are always welcoming, and very helpful

This time, we were just unlucky with the choice of room for us -we are in our 80s, so having to kneel down , and pull a small ( albeit lightweight) pice of furniture out in order to plug in our various devices , and then ( this is the worst part for old people !) get up again(!!) was not pleasant, especially as on one occasion as I stood up I hit my head on the TV WHICH was immediately over said piece of furniture! Also, on this occasion , we didn’t have a bath, so next time we book,we’ll be sure to ask for one if at all possible, and I’m sure they’ll do what they can. Because it has not come up before , we hadn’t thought it an issue

Probably the best location for holiday makers who appreciate having a wide range of food and dining options available nearby, and the ease of public transport right at the doorstep. Not to mention Kensington Park is just 7 mins away.

The hotel is slightly "old" in design and layout, but I think that's part of the charm. I do wish there were electric plugs near the bedside. The room is slightly smallish but adequate. The bathroom was newly renovated which was really great.

Location - even if the District and Circle Lines are out, this hotel is just a very short walk from Lancaster Gate on the Central Line. There is also a great Italian restaurant (est. 1957) almost next door to the hotel on the same street.

Two problems with the room this time: 1) The shower water was hot enough to melt lead and I could not bring down the temperature. The shower controls were unresponsive. 2) The only electric socket I found was on the wall the behind the TV - not enough and difficult to access. Then, just as I was checking out, I found an extension cable on the floor with three more sockets hiding under and behind the desk - if only I'd known....
