From when you pull up at the grand gates and go down the long drive you know this place is going to be something special and boy is it. Very glam, super staff and great food and drink, what more could one ask for ! Breakfast was really nice loads of tasty stuff, from exquisite pastries to bacon and eggs with even a salad bar if that’s your thing. Booked a taxi back to the airport from the hotel which took about 35 mins at 930 am on a Saturday morning. I’d allow a bit longer in peak season. The cost through the hotel was 100 euros so not the cheapest option but certainly very easy. If your booking this hotel you will already know it’s not cheap but in my opinion was a lovely treat and nothing disappointed. Will definitely visit again in the future, good fortune allowing. A 3 to 5 minute walk to the old town with loads of eateries to go to should you prefer to dining at the hotel. Had a few lovely meals especially at Maria Callas which is very close. Avoid Valantinas pizzeria as we thought it was poor. Ruins of a Roman villa nearby which are worth a look around but don’t expect to see any mosaics as it’s mostly old foundations and walls. That said the attached museum had a few nice items in. Hope the review helps we loved it and hope you do too.

Could be a little noisy from the rooms above as it’s hard floors. Not a massive issue but imagine it could be annoying if you had someone above who wasn’t considerate. Taxi driver complained about dropping us off due to it being difficult for them to navigate the old town with pedestrians but that’s taxi drivers for you !

This hotel is a real bucket list experience. If you wanted a no expense spared wedding then this is the venue for you. Every aspect of the building is beautiful, and the grounds are fabulous. It's a stroll into Sirmione and also to the Roman ruins. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel relaxed and special at the same time. The room was lovely with a small terrace and a view across the southern part of Lake Garda.

Just the Wifi I'm afraid. We had login details but on the 2nd floor it refused to connect. We could take things to the lobby to connect but as soon as we went back to the room we had no connection. If you need to work online, it's going to be tough here.

The view was the among best I have ever had and I have visited over 70 countries and have overlooked geysers and active volcanos - the room was top floor in the center facing the rear of the hotel rm 320. Breakfast was very good with many excellent choices - omelets , eggs benedict, wonderful cheeses and the pastries were probably from a French pastry chef , the fruit was superb and even the very varied ( carrot orange, peach, banana and blueberry ) bottled juices were very special. The majority of the staff (95 % ) was unmatched. The beds , shower and amenities were all very good. It was also close to the town and its ferries - 10 minutes for 75 year old who IS not a speed walker. The terrace was large and had a table and chairs and two separate lounge chairs. It was an easy walk to many great restaurants on the water with fine views and wonderful food.

There was essentially no soundproofing. The next room had a young woman who liked her music loud and pulsating and warbled along with it - fortunately it was mostly in the mid-morning and the afternoon ( but it occurred on 2 of our 6 days and it was moderate on another ) and usually lasted less than 2 hours. There was a wedding on the premises while we were there and the revelers awakened us twice - one time at 11:30 PM and another at 4:30AM (the same night). I spoke to the concierge once and he did not seem interested in doing anything proactively . After paying 950 euros a night for 6 nights , I asked for a planned late (1.5 hour ) checkout -I was told it would only be possible to approve that at the last minute ( same concierge ) .

No question the best hotel in Sirmione. The minute we approached the gate and came up the drive it was going to be special. The hotel were all great, happy, and pleased to offer any suggestions for dinner reservations, bookings anywhere. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The pool area is also great which easy refreshment orders, pool towels and such. Breakfast is great with just about everything between the buffet and the menu out on the terrace overlooking the lake. Short walk through the back gate into central sirmione which was great to wonder around the streets. We also did a private sunset boat tour with Garda tours which I also couldn’t recommend enough. Bottle of sparkling wine and a tour on a lovely new boat was awesome at sunset. Very extravagant few days! Hopefully we’ll be back again!

Nothing.

This hotel was flawless and possibly the best hotel experience we have enjoyed as a family in Europe if not further afield. It would be impossible to find fault - the grounds, pool and private pier were immaculate, the staff exceptional , food sensational and the hotel boasted a unique vibe that made you feel you were staying in tour own idyllic summer residence as opposed to merely a hotel guest. Unreservedly worth the money.

Absolutely nothing apart from having to leave! The bath and shower were slightly temperamental but of no consequence to our overall enjoyment.

Everything. An amazing place. Excellent food across the bar menu, fine dining and lake side grill. The staff were generally fantastic. We’ll definitely come back for a third time. Amazing grounds, and even though it was fully booked it never felt crowded. 5 hectares is a lot of space chill in. Excellent secure parking - and there were quite a few high end sports cars parked up.

The WiFi wasn’t great (minor point)! Some of the reception team seemed to have an air of indifference, which was both a shame and unnecessary.

An elegant hotel in absolutely beautiful grounds tucked away from busy and crowded Sirmione. Much to admire in the interior such as the stained glass windows and the intricate ceilings. All the food was first rate and attractively presented. The swimming pool and also the jetty were very good. The staff were first class, all welcoming, friendly, helpful and very professional. We were sad to leave but maybe we can return one day!

It has an amazing 5 hectare garden with an artistry composition of trees, flowers of many sorts and amazing statues and other art features. View is absolutely amazing. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Bed and cleanness are on top. Live piano music. It is a living fairytale property.

Internet reception is not good. Restaurant menu is a bit limited. It doesnt have a proper gym.

This property is astonishingly good. A favourite in the world. The setting is spectacular and the amenities are top class. What really singles it out is the quality of service, from the general manager down. Everyone is pleased to see you and goes out of their way to make you feel special. The location to Sirmione, and the access to the town through the back gate, the 15 acres of grounds, the beach restaurant and bathing pier all add up to a spectacular place.

Nothing.
