The property itself is in easy reach of Newcastle City Centre. All the staff are friendly, helpful & very polite. The hotel is also on a bus route & if you didn’t want to eat in the restaurant there is a Sambuccas just up the road from the hotel. Nothing is a bother. We arrived on the Sunday & had a lovely Sunday lunch followed by a lovely trifle, food was very nice, same with breakfast, & if you needed anything that wasn’t out for breakfast, you could ask & it would be made for you. The facilities are really good, the pool is a good size & isn’t too deep. The place is kept clean & it’s a lovely place to relax inbetween the Christmas break or anytime.

the bed was supper comfortable and the room was just the right size and had everything one needed. I loved the pool it was amazing. The house keeping was so respectful and polite and she did an amazing job. The Pub and Grill was fantastic serving a gr8 range of drinks and the staff were really wonderful and helpful!!!!! I Would Definitely come again and again.

The only thing i could say was that our room was quite cold until we were able to figure out how to work the heating since there was no instructions.

I stayed for 2 nights while on a trip for training & work. The restaurant staff at breakfast on Thursday, 16th & and Friday, 17th of May, were an absolute pleasure. I was greeted warmly by pleasant charming girl (unfortunately, I don't know her name). I was in a hurry to catch up with work, so she went above and beyond to look after me, offered free bag for food collection, a takeaway coffee cup, and then she went to find me a tupperware so I could get some hot food. This kind, generous, and caring girl is an outstanding & beautiful staff member showing how proper hospitality and attention should be. She made me feel like I'm in my home away from home. The food was brilliant, hot, and fresh. There was a decent selection for hot food, and also pastries, cereal, porridge, fruit, fruit juices, etc.

Downside, only two usable 3-pin sockets making charging phones and gadgets a nightmare. Although it's a clean room, it's outdated with everything.

Staff were incredible and very supportive when we had an issue with our room and got this issue solved immediately. The bar/ restaurant was very lovely and very clean as well. Breakfast was quite cheap and was worth every penny. Cleanliness in the rooms was really good and there wasn't no mess from previous residents. There is also a Starbucks on site as well which is really handy for morning people.

The doors to our "first" room would close really so (it would take about 10-15 seconds for the front door to shut and you can't force it either). We also had a little issue with the power to the room and the extractor fan in the bathroom wouldn't close so it was active all night but this was solved by the staff members who were on shift very quickly and moved us into another room which was really nice.

Breakfast was excellent. Ladies who were doing the breakfast were lovely and very helpful. specially Cathy who was very helpful when it came to outlet shopping .

Children running about in the bar and corridors and the lift late at night and in the morning. (Wedding) our room window did not have a handle so we could not shut the window . Bit windy on the Thursday night .

Ironing board, iron, hair dryer and fan already in the room. Room heating easy to control and worked well. Towels good bathroom good. Hot water slow to come hot. Free self connecting WiFi which worked well and replace internal phones well for room service etc. I shall be staying again.

Noise Food and drink expensive as all hotels are. There was a local pub ½ mile away that was very poor not worth the effort External dustbin collection very early in the morning noisey.

It wasn't that clean, the upkeep of the hotel as a whole was great, but the finer details were not great at all. I am glad this happened on the last day because I wouldn't have used the sauna facilities because I saw a woodlice crawling on the floor near the hot tub for 16yrs and over it made me feel gross. And the sauna needs drainage because the water that is accumulated in there is swept into the pool, which is dirty.

The staff was absolutley brilliant we only stayed for 1 night for a wedding. The staff were brilliant they done everything friendly talkative and gave u all the help we asked of them. Amazing hotel we are already singing your praises to everybody keep up the good work and will see yous in october for the soul and motown lookin forward to that bringing quite a few people with me. AMAZING

There was nothing i did not like

I was working nights and the staff didnt bother me in the mornings as requested. First hotel that has actually done what I had requested. Pool and gym were great!

The plugs next to the bed are round pin for some bizzare reason so you cant charge your phone next to your bed unless you have a 3m lead! Hotel is a bit out of the way if you want to visit Newcastle for a night out.
