Beautiful guesthouse situated seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The drive to get there is not for the faint of heart, and we recommend driving during daylight, but it's all part of the adventure :-) The accommodations are peaceful and quiet, with breathtaking views of hills and mountains. Some folks visit the area just to begin a hike, but we stayed overnight in the charming hotel—definitely worth it. The restaurant on the main floor is open to all and, given the remote setting, is the only nearby dining option. We will return to Hotel Mursal next time.

The location is perfect, at the end of the village Yagodina, in the heart of the mountain. It’s near to Eagle eye and also a lot of other beautiful places to visit. The staff and the owner of the hotel are the nicest people that we ever met. They were friendly and made everything to make our stay perfect. The most delicious local cuisine and wonderful views from restaurant. For sure we’ll visit them again. Recommend to everyone who enjoys gorgeous views, warm welcome, comfortable stay and unforgettable moments!

Location! Being in the middle of the mountains was amazing.The views are just breath taking. The hotel was very clean and comfortable .The food in the restaurant is some of the best we have tasted in Bulgaria ( Local Bulgarian food) The owner of the hotel is very friendly and his wife is a amazing cook !! Staff are very friendly and work hard. The hotel is a great location for hiking/sight seeing.Rooms have everything you need.Hair dryers ,fresh towels,clean bedding and great mountain views from your windows. We will certainly return here again 😊

It is the closest hotel to the starting point for the hike to the Eagle’s Nest, it literally starts from the parking lot! We left before sunrise to climb up, saw deer on the path and were up 1h later, and back down before breakfast. Food was more than decent, both dinner and breakfast were great. Staff was very kind.

Bathrooms were a bit dated, shower above the toilet and no blinds for the window facing the meadow.

The location is amazing, with the surrounding mountains. Close to variety of interesting spots to hike to. Road from the village to the hotel was okay, we did not have any issues with getting there.

The rooms were very cosy but at night it was too hot. However, popping a window open solved the “issue” :)

I asked for our rooms to be next to each other, and the hotel confirmed that request, but in reality, it didn't happen and wasn't good as the kids stayed a bit away

Superb location that is probably the best in this area. This is the closest place to start off the 1 hour hike to the spot with amazing view of the surroundings - "Orlovo Oko". The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious and they serve wonderfull breakfast with natual homemade juices with it. The hot tub and SPA facilities are great too. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms with great view.

The location is exceptional! I really needed peace and quiet and I found it. The staff were very nice as well.

Superb location about 1km outside Yagodina. From the hotel, you can walk/climb to the Eagle's Eye in 2+ hours (with reasonable fitness). Or there are jeep-taxis available (80 lev). Free-of-charge sauna facilities.

We had breakfast and dinner each day. Food is good quality and very tasty. But they struggle to serve it promptly and some items not hot enough.

Great location with exceptional view. Rooms are very clean and cozy. The food was phenomenal- it is very rare these days to find a place the food is so delicious . Staff was friendly and welcoming.
