I booked a Deluxe double room and two single rooms. All rooms were clean. The Deluxe room had large windows. The staff were kind. The hotel food was very good. The lifts were efficient. The location is great for walking around Stavanger or going on a boat trip. We would stay again.
I didn't mind but some people could be bothered by how close the cruise ships are to the hotel. At night you have a great view out of the window and in the morning all you can see is a big ship. By early evening you have your view back again as the ship leaves. There is some noise from the ship but surprisingly not much. It was interesting to see - great entertainment for the family.

Good location with overnight parking right next door (approximately £20). Clean, comfortable rooms and welcome coffee and cake much appreciated. Included buffet evening meal made rate really good value for money though choice was quite limited for vegetarians.
Special requests not heeded. One room allocated was a disabled room (though other rooms were available) and although on the 2nd floor was at street level and offered no privacy. We did enquire about, and were offered, a change of room but had already used the facilities in the room by then. Very different room experiences for two couples.

Hotel has a nice facilities, all clean, supportive stuff and very rich breakfast including complimentary snack (coffee, tea, cake) and dinner.
Ventilation is central and and you may feel cold if there is not hot outside, it even flows in direction to bed and so straight on you when sleeping. Also, mattresses are very soft, who is not used to it will end up with backpain. Location of hotel is great and horrible at the same time. Straight next to the water with nice view but every Fri/Sat there is a live music in pubs around and drunk people are screaming over night when walking behind the hotel. I would recommend to hotel to invest into sound proofing windows.

Everything was great, breakfast and dinner as well was a plus. Great value for money. Location is great when you can see the main harbor and easy access to the old city and town center. I loved the view from the window. Thanks for the staff for always welcoming guests with a smile specially the lady at the reception!
Nothing to complain about really and everything felt great from start to finish. One thing to note is the music from the pubs nearby in the evening and that is definitely not the hotel's fault. After some time you get used it and will enjoy a nice comfy sleep and long days of hiking! :)

The staff were very pleasant. Always happy to talk, help in anyway they could. Ingrid on our first arrival couldn’t have done enough for us. We were running late but she ensured food was available for us thank you
The evening was very packet based food, due to them closing for Christmas kept changing menu as run out!! The first evening was meatballs excellent unfortunately it deteriorated from there! One night run out of chicken by 6.45pm ended up with breaded fish ( out of frozen packet, I give to the kids) breakfast was good to ok! Plenty of bread and cheese!!

Stavanger is a beautiful place, and the location of this accommodation is perfect - right on the harbour and Skagen. Parking is easy right next to hotel. Communication was great and check in and out simple. Our room was very comfy and loved being able to open all the windows. The bathroom had a great shower with plenty of water and pressure. The staff were all lovely. Breakfast and dinner were great - all you could need really. Our favourite place during a month in Norway!
Nothing - would happily stay again, and recommend to family and friends.

Breakfasts were good. The location is superb.
Evening meals were very poor, odd tasting salads, no choice of main ingredient, no sauce or gravy. Overcooked vegetables- often broccoli- no desserts at all. It was so bad that we ate out several evenings. The fish casserole on our last evening was unbelievably bad.

The location was superb over looking the harbour, food excellent and varied, staff very helpful
We were initailly put in a small twin at the back of the hotel which was cramped and dark, only having one chair between 2 of us, so dark difficult to read, made worse by others in our party having a front facing room and we had paid the same price, however we asked to move rooms and were given a fantastic room on the front thanks to the excellent customer service

The location of the hotel, its room size, especially the suite, the room amenities, the daily breakfast, and the staff are its biggest plus point. ALWAYS SMILING and willing to help even small concerns. Providing complimentary sparkling water was a nice touch. Access to shopping district restaurants was very easy. Getting to the port / harbour was very easy .
Few more daily tolitieries would be very useful .

The room was stunning with the view over the harbour, very clean every where. The food was Buffett style very good selection especially breakfast it was delicious, all the food was there, and coffee and tea available all day if wanted, delicious Fika the most delectable cakes very nice treat mid afternoon. Beds lovely and comfy and nice underfloor heating in the bathroom/shower. Will certainly go back loved it!
Our only problem there was the bars and clubs down the road, when it gets late it’s very noisy and I mean noisy! I would make sure next time I avoided Friday and Saturday nights, I didn’t get much sleep as they are still going at 3.30am. But Sunday night was lovely, no noise at all, if your going for the pubs and clubs this a great hotel stay at with all you need down the road, if not don’t go weekends. This is a location problem not the hotels, but if you want a harbour view this is lovely.
