Sizeable , self catering 3rd floor apartment room with a balcony . The room was warm ( weather was cold! ) and clean. The fridge was large and adequate for us , because we dined with our nearby family and did not require the cooking facilities provided . The bathroom was clean and the shower water was always hot . The bed was comfortable. Room lighting was adequate , but two bulbs were not working .

The very shallow shower tray tended to overspill water too easily onto the bathroom floor from which there was no other drainage point . The mirror cupboard above the sink was badly positioned for wet razor shavers like me - too low and extending too far out above the sink so that one hit one's head when bending over to rinse one's face . Hooks to hang our coats on would have been useful .

Lovely large apartment for my mum and I. The main bed and sofa bed were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was clean and large, and everything worked well and there was complementary shower gel and soap. Everybody we met at reception was pleasant and helpful, the check-in and check out process was quick and easy. The breakfast was great! So much choice and all very good quality. Lastly, the location was very good for us in relation to proximity to the hotel and our onward travel.

There were no complementary tea or coffee.. it wasn't expected, it's just nice when you're travelling through. The lounge with the sofa bed could do with some soft/bedside lighting.

This property was very convenient to the freeway for an overnight stopover. The kitchen facilities were great and they were very friendly towards our dogs.

The bed was at best an English double or a king single, so we found the bed too small. The bed was comfortable but we probably wouldn’t stay here again as we had an awkward night’s sleep. Also, no luggage trolleys.

Excellent location, very close to the airport. Free airport shuttle service was also very convenient. The apartment was very clean and modern. The balcony was large. I would be happy to stay again.

There was no hand basin in the WC (even though there was enough space to accommodate one). You need to use the basin in the separate shower room. This is unhygienic as multiple surfaces are touched in the process. Otherwise, the apartment was fantastic.

Was a last minute booking as flight was cancelled at midnight. The hotel is close to the airport on the French side, the staff were amazingly friendly and lovely and really put us all at ease when stressed at being stranded by easyjet.

The room really would have benefitted from air conditioning, otherwise all was great.

We went to the reception and got the keys and the explanation on how to access the property. THe key card was then easy to return via the return boxes at any time you wanted. Very easy. The Apartment was clean and had a very good size. The terrace is an added bonus. The apartment was fully equipped and in a fairly quiet area also closed to a big supermarket and a few restaurants.

Everything.Highly Recommended.Close to the Airport, eventhough this Apartment suited in boundary between France and Base Switzerland but by car or taxi you can reach at Basel City center for only 20 mins.Clean and Spacious Room.All is perfect during our stay.Staff at the Mercure Hotel were good and friendly, they help us and provide a taxi to drove us in Basel City Center..Overall 100% nice services.

Good access to the airport, very spacious, with a vast balcony. Also, the staff were very helpful: They let us store our refrigerated items before we were able to check into the room; and they even lent us a bread knife! The free shuttle to the airport was also much appreciated.

Air conditioning would be a nice addition for the summer months. A bread knife and chopping knife would be also be handy - as well as a toaster for breakfast. Also, while very conveniently located for access to the airport, the flipside is that you get the aircraft noise from 6am!

Apartment was very clean and Spacious, very friendly staff, location is very close to Airport and the free Shuttle bus from the airport is the most convenient thing

It was quite warm during our stay and there was only one fan for 2 rooms so one room was quite hot and humid , 2 fans would have been good, other than that everything was good

Near the airport; plenty of car parking space. Helpful receptionist at the hotel next doo. Good facilities, with spacey room and kitchen and bathroom. Value for money.

It's not the best view in the world, but then you would not expect that for an airport hotel / apartment. The fitness area was a bit underwhelming.
