We had a family room and unlike some we have stayed in, the beds, including the singles are really comfy. Although based in a busy location, we weren't disturbed by external noise. Yes there was some noise in the morning with local businesses opening up, but that didn't bother us as we were up early anyway. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and will return when we are next in the area.

One night there were 2 disturbances in the early hours. One was a very rowdy group of ladies who had had a great night out by the sound of it, nut continued their singing and shouting while inside the hotel. As the hotel in 'un-manned' we just had to wait for them to exhaust themselves- which they eventually did- but it did disturb our nights sleep. I'm not sure how this could be dealt with (aside from having a member of staff in the hotel', but maybe some more signs around asking people to be quiet at night or to consider others, would be good.

My go-to hotel when travelling to Telford for work. Friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms and a good pub next door for your evening meal and a decent brekkie.

Can’t fault the hotel, though the local area seems to be where the local boy racers gather to rev engines and pop exhausts… obviously nothing the hotel can do about that but worth knowing that it can get a bit noisy in the evenings.

Staff were welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable, and towels were better than one usually finds in lodges. Maybe an odd one - quality toilet paper, not the origami (keep folding until you get something useful), type in other lodges . Greggs or Subway at the adjacent services if you don't want breakfast.

Very comfortable. There was a minor problem on checking in, but staff responded very quickly to sort it. Decent quality tea and coffee provided in the room. It’s a good location with the restaurant and fuel station nearby.

Feels a bit strange that there isn’t a staffed reception area, but a night porter can be contacted by phone. Couldn’t really fault anything

Very convenient for visiting relatives. All staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very clean accommodation and great food in the pub. We stay regularly and it's always good.

I hung out the do not disturb tag for online work but removed it and left for the day at 11.15am but no housekeeping visit. I didn't want to bother reception for more supplies later, but we could have done with more than one large and small towel between us because both were still wet when we got back in the evening. The staff are very approachable so I'll check the towels next time.

The staff was super friendly. The room was nice, clean, comfy. We loved our stay there. The breakfast was delicious. The price of the breakfast, especially for the kids, was very good value and gave us a good start of the day every morning. The kids also liked the small playground. There are a lot of great places to visit in the area (Ironbridge, Coalport Museum, dino world...). We stayed for 3 nights and we're planning to come back. Our daughter said "if you're going to rate the hotel, give them 100%"

Wheelchair bound disabled guy with MS. Only live a mile down the road but we were having work done on our flooring and decorating at home. Initially booked two nights & then had to extend to three. The room was spacious, easy to navigate, clean &! comfortable. The bathroom was a wet room which is a massive bonus. All the staff are friendly, helpful, professional & courteous and the location is perfect for a short visit to Telford or as digs for contractors and the like. The pub & restaurant have an impressive menu of food and drink and are a thirty second walk from the hotel. There is an Asda, BurgarKing, Greggs and Starbucks two minutes walk away from the hotel. The beds are clean, comfortable and the A/C makes sure your room is always at a comfort level you will enjoy.

For a four year old hotel the decor seems a little dated &. the bathroom could be a little more modern but I am really only nitpicking here as over all they stay was wonderful.

Great location and value for.money

The food options were not great but work is ongoing to improve so this will improve. Also lots of boy racers around. Didn't really bother us but .ight do for some.

Very easy to find, just on the outskirts of Telford. Restaurant in separate building so not much noise. Able to park directly outside the hotel, so ideal. Room was spacious and clean with everything we needed - stayed in Marstons Inn before near Lincoln so knew what to expect - excellent nights sleep - very comfy bed. There were other guests staying there but hardly heard them. Very good value for money and we'd stay in one of these inns again. Highly recommended

Bedside tables are too small in all of these rooms! A bit more greenery directly around the pub/hotel would be nice?
