- the only real problem that we had was finding the hotel as there are a few with the same name, when we first arrived we found ourselves at the wrong hotel but thankfully they transported us to the right hotel with no charge :) it seems to be quite difficult to find on google maps (i’m not sure if it’s even on it) however i have just found out that they have only just opened the hotel so i cannot hold it against them. I recommend following the directions to ‘Hong Hoai’s Restaurant’ as that takes you to about the right spot :)

The staff were very nice and accommodating. I accidentally went to their other hotel but they were so nice to pick me up and bring me to the right one. I was going to leave early in the morning for my flight and they even offered to make transportation arrangements for me and even gave me a breakfast-to-go bag!

The towels provided smelled a bit like smoke and maybe the shampoo and body wash needed to be labeled. Those are just tiny details that needed to be improved, but overall I had a great stay!

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful!! I just happened to get out of the hospital the same day. They helped me get my trip back on schedule and organize busses, etc. I couldn't ask for nicer staff. Even looking after one of my bags free of charge will definitely be staying here again on my return to Hanoi!

· Excellent value for money. Staff were super friendly and helpful with all questions or requests. The room was spacious, very large bed and bathroom was clean. Everything was functional and worked as expected. Definitely will stay here again!

The location and the staff who where really carefull

I work remotely so I was often in my room during the day and it was tended to everyday. The cleaners always asked me if I needed anything which was nice. The location is in the heart of the Old Quarter with plenty of things to do, places to eat and close to most Hanoï attractions. They arranged my taxi from and to the airport which was very convenient too and most of the staff downstairs was very friendly too, I didn't get their names but especially the young guy with the glasses who worked the night shift and the young lady with the short hair. Very lovely and helpful people. I had a large room with a balcony and it was great and comfortable

The room was spacious but could be a bit cleaner but honestly for the price I can't really complain much about anything to be honest.

The location of the hotel is superb—just a 300-meter walk to the night market, shopping areas, and numerous dining options. Everything you need is easily accessible. The room itself is clean, with unexpectedly large beds. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast provided is excellent. The room also includes a mini-fridge and a kettle, which added to our convenience. The bathroom is well-maintained and equipped with clean towels every day. Considering we booked a room for three people, the price is very affordable. Additionally, the Wifi connection is very fast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone seeking comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.

The hotel is near many restaurants and convenient stores. The room I booked was a decent size for someone traveling alone. They clean the rooms everyday, refill bottled waters and change towels as well. It's just a few minutes walk away from various coffee shops and landmarks like the Hoang Kiem lake and St. Joseph cathedral. Would highly recommend for someone looking for a decent size, clean room and someone who doesn't want to be hustled looking for tours. David helped me book 2 different tours with discount for an early bird booking even in assisting with pick up and drop off taxis to the airport. Thank you so much La Rena Premier:)

Everything about my stay at La Renta Premier Hotel & Spa in Old Quarter Hanoi was amazing! Even before I arrived, the manager David was so welcoming and helpful answering my questions online and getting back to me quickly. He and the rest of the staff were great, esp. Chloe. David and Chloe were lovely to chat with and so willing to make my vacation a wonderful one. They gave suggestions on what to try in regards to activities and food/drink. Additionally, they set up transfer rides to and from the airport and were able to accommodate me with an earlier check-in, as I relaxed with a very soothing foot and shoulder massage! My room was always so comfortable a La Renta Premier' location was absolutely perfect for me as a solo traveler! The hotel was easily in walking distance to great shops, restaurants and bars, street food places, the city center by Hoan Kiem Lake, as well as the French Quarter. I did so much while I was there: leisurely wandered the streets to explore, shop, eat & drink; sipped on coffee on Train Street to watch the train pass by; indulged with an evening guided street food tour; rode a trishaw around the area; enjoyed a 4-hour Hanoi City Tour (double decker hop-on-hop-off bus)- some cool places I explored were the Temple of Literature, Hoa Lo Prison, the Vietnamese Women's Museum, St. Joseph's Cathedral; and watched a show at the water puppet theater. Also, I enjoyed excursions 2 hours away from Old Quarter Hanoi: a Ninh Binh full day tour, and a 2-day overnight cruise on Halong Bay. Across the street, I frequented Cafe Hieu (owned by a delightful couple) to enjoy coffee, banh mi and crepes. I ate incredible beef pho a block away at Pho Xao-Ap Chao. Four doors down from the hotel, I savored a roasted quarter duck and duck pho at the Don Duck Old Quarter Restaurant (in 2023 Michelin Guide)!
