Everything was very close by

The air-conditioned was very loud and the people staying in the next were up late slamming the patio door and the kids screaming in hallway late at night also the pool is falling apart! I was swimming and stepped on a piece of concrete in the pool! I'm a diabetic and that wasn't good! Oh, and the so called Bar and Grill (Finnegans), no food, no servers, very rude bartender who didn't want to serve us at the table because he couldn't leave the bar! That place was a joke, we had to go somewhere else!

I’ve stayed here before but I love that they have an indoor and outdoor rooftop pool. It’s close to the beach, the staff is super friendly and helpful. We needed extra pillows and towels and they were quick to bring them to our room. We had a sweet view of a little canal for boats behind the hotel. Although in OC you are not far from anything since every block has another hotel, restaurants, an ice cream spot(Dumsers), a bar(Seacrets), a mini golf course(Nicks), Sunsations, the list goes on…I would stay here again. The only downfall to this location is the boardwalk is about 20 blocks away from the hotel. You could walk(it might take you awhile), you can drive(good luck finding parking without having to pay) or you can pay a small $4 fee per person to ride the bus up and down coastal all day!

Bed aren’t super comfy, elevators are slow and our neighbor had a little barking dog late at night & early in the morning. Other than that - no complaints.

1st. stay here. Hotel was very clean and nice aroma all throughout the hotel. The main building has the indoor pool. The adjacent building has covered parking and a rooftop outside pool. Outback on the Bayside is a private sandy beach. Seasonally, you can rent watercraft here. Finnegan's Restaurant is on the 1st floor in the main building. Located right on Coastal Hwy, it's convenient to both downtown and the boardwalk. It's only a 5 minute walk to the Ocean beach. Room was larger than most. Fridge, microwave, coffee pot and flat screen TV. View of the Bayvwas excellent. we were on the 5th floor. Two elevators were available. Everyone was professional and accommodating. Great time! We'll be back soon!😎😎

it's a small thing, but the street entrance and exit have a major dip when entering or exiting. could be smoother.

The location was perfect, room was amazing! The front desk staff, one woman in particular was great. I can’t remember her name but she was awesome and spoke to us and everyone else who walked by the front desk each time we walked through the lobby. The parking lot was huge and spacious. Private little beach behind our building was cool and offered different types of water activity rentals. The main building had an indoor pool, the building we stayed in had a rooftop pool with a small bar. The his hotel is pretty awesome! Definitely will be staying again!

The only “issue” (if you even want to call it that) was the air conditioner in our room was a little loud. It kind of sounded like the dishwasher was running and dishes were clanking. It was only a problem the first night when we could not figure out what the sound was but we just turned it out after that. The higher we turned the thermostat up, the less we heard it.

The location is great and the bay beach is fabulous and relaxing. The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

I wish they had bigger pillows and put 4 on the bed instead of 3. We only needed maid service 1 day out of the 3 days there and even though we had 3 people in the room they only left a set of clean towels for 1 person. I called the front desk to request more and after waiting almost 2 hours they never came with them so I had to go to the front desk and make a 2nd request. While walking back to my room I ran into the maid who was finally bringing us our towels.

the south building has beautiful views of the bay! The gentleman who checked us in at the front desk was the amazing!

The fridge made lots of noise at night while trying to sleep. There were no extra blankets in the room. While I was loading the car I got locked out of my room because the room key stops working at 11 am on the dot.

The rooftop pool needs to be repaired and renovated and cleaned more often. The hotel on the outside of the structure is missing parts and they should fix this. Also, the furniture in the lobby is dirty and should be professionally cleaned or replaced and chair covers that can be washed placed on them. We should be able to open our room windows for fresh air on days we don’t need AC. This saves money, helps the natural environment and is healthier for us to breathe. Some of the buttons in the elevators no longer light up and should be repaired. One of the beds in our room was broken and needs replacing. We need more umbrellas on the rooftop pool area. The lounge chairs and tables and chairs should be washed down and wiped down with disinfectant soap everyday.

The room was a tad dated but very clean. Front desk was wonderful and very helpful. Staff was very friendly. From the website, I was expecting alot more. But rooftop pool wasnt opened yet and bar was only open friday and sat. Said it had a hot tub and didnt. No biggie. All-in-all good trip

Beach at the hotel was full of garbage. Not that it's their fault, but someone should really clean that up. Our king size room that we booked had a balcony that stared at another building. No view of anything, but another balcony. When asked about a bayview room the front desk accommodated. (for an upcharge which we were fine with.) Indoor heated pool was a bit chilly..

Our room was in the perfect location. We were dead center of the Bay, and watching the sunsets was spectacular 👌

We had issues with the television remote control actually changing the channels. It wasn't the batteries because those were changed. Someone with facilities came right away with a new remote, but we still had the same odd issue. It's like the remote control wasn't in sync with the TV. Thankfully, it wasn't a big deal since we spent a good portion of our time out of the room.

It was in a great location. Right next to secrets and right across the street and an easy walk to beach. The staff were super nice and very helpful. I loved having the refrigerator in the room. That was great

The property is older and in need of some repairs. They don’t have any place to get anything to eat or drink on premises. No complementary tea or coffee. That was unfortunate. There is an Irish pub attached but it wasn’t open the days we were there.
