Top location of this resort.. close to all sites of interest in Playa del Ingles. The resort is kept immaculate clean. Breakfast is extensive and because it is a relative small resort one does not feel to be in a tourist trap.

The resort consists of two locations (opposite each other in the same street. We were not located in the main building, hence a smaller pool (too small for a swim), additionally no free coffee during the day, unless you run across the street to get a coffee. The smaller location does not have a bar. What did strike me most though, is that the cleaning lady left the doors (back mainly), but also front door (one time) unlocked. Knowing from a previous experience, this can definitely invite theft.

Spotlessly clean and staff were great - particularly Angela. Rooms had plenty of space and nicely appointed

Wi-fi did not work for iphones due to security protocols. Some noise from near by clubs audible through the night

This is our 3rd stay at Nayra but this occasion went for our honeymoon and upon arrival Nayra staff had already put a complimentary bottle of champagne on ice with glasses which was a lovely start to our stay. The complex is so peaceful and tranquil, you would never guess it was situated 200 meters from the busy lively nightlife of the Yumbo centre, just heaven.

The new door locks are very temperamental. We’re all for modern technology but we had to ask reception serval times to assure us the lock wasn’t faulty. A minor issue was the streetlight directly outside meant the room wasn’t completely dark to sleep soundly, but I doubt this is something they can address.

Everything, really beautiful, quiet and spotless hotel. Pool lovely salt water, great little private garden bit out the back. Breakfast a lot of choice and all fresh and tasty. Staff so very helpful and all friendly. Excellent location. Clean towels given all the time, towels for Beach and or Pool, which were swapped for clean as often as you wanted, no deposit for pool towels, no deposit or charge for room safe. Fridge in the room. Complimentary Coffee and Tea, daily bottle of water in the room.

Nothing, if I had to say anything I wasn’t a fan of the sensor bathroom light, didn’t want it on at night blinding me when I used the bathroom and then it took quite a while to turn off but really this is nothing, this hotel was amazing.

A neat boutique hotel with spacious rooms and a small garden area at the back. Really great breakfast selection.

A small thing but the plugs in the washbasins didn't retain water for washing though clothes. The courtesy shower post check out is downstairs in the basement which is difficult to carry suitcase up and down and the shower has a motion sensors light which means when you are in the shower, it goes out and you are in the dark - it is dangerous.

Hotel Nayra is an excellent Hotel with an incredible location on Playa del Ingles in Gran Canaria, What i like most about it is the tranquility, comfort and location. The breakfast is complete and delicious with very attentive and helpful staff at all times to help you.

The internet does not work well, at least the two times i stayed there i had problem with the Wi Fi, but that is the only negative thing i have to say about the Hotel Nayra - Adults only.

Totally recommend this hotel to anyone. This hotel is definitely a 5-star rating, and all the staff from reception to catering to hygiene are absolutely fantastic and friendly and can not do enough for their customers. We were in room 18 opposite yumbo Centre, I had concerns over noise, but I can confirm, not a peep did I hear. Room fantastic and spotlessly clean and well laid out. Rooms cleaned daily with fresh water bottles, and the hotel provided tea and coffee in the dining room 24/7. Beds are comfy [ so top marks as my back is not great] also brilliant air-conditioning system. All rooms face onto the centre pool, which is also fab, the pool is heated it was brilliant and clean with life guard on duty. There are plenty of sun beds for everyone. Breakfast is top class as well loads of choice from hot to cold. The hotel provides a vip transfer at a cost as well. The hotel is a 3 min walk to yumbo shopping centre and restaurants. Big shout out to margarita hygiene cleaner and also the women at the reception with long dark hair you are a credit to the hotel, also to the senor chef who would drop your hot breakfast to your table. I give this hotel 5 star rating, and we will be back.

It's not an issue, but it would be nice to have an awaing at the pool side of the apartment. It is wasted, and the pvt apt back garden..

Beautiful setting, generally quiet. Good pool. Breakfast was exceptionally good. Reception staff and cleaning staff all very interested and worked well. Free street parking outside was a benefit, but could not be guaranteed. Closeness to Yumbo centre was important to us

The open plan shower and the less than discreet toilet maybe a problem for some. Not the best set up with 2 people suffering severe stomach ailments! For accomm on the busy road. Light intrusion into the rear of the room maybe a problem for light sleepers as is the dull back ground noise of the Yumbo centre into the early hours. Didn’t cause us a problem but light sleepers or festival weeks may not be so easy to accept.

Second time at the Nayra, and will definitely return next year. Staff personnels all very helpful and friendly, front desk (recommend asking them to organise taxi service to/from airport, very reasonable rate) and breakfast chef are excellent ambassadors for the hotel. This year they very much improved their booking process by you being able to book a room in the Annex or main building. Breakfast going until 11am is a real plus, as is the breakfast contents, fresh fruits, cava, cooked to order eggs/ omelettes, fresh croissants, juices etc. Daily room cleaning (clean and efficient) and new towels are all good. Room has kettle for tea and filter coffee, mini fridge, and a nice back of room outdoor terrace (as well as a private terrace in front of room). They also provide shower gels etc in the shower. In room safe is useful too (another plus if they can rig this up higher than the floor level location). Despite being near the carpark that backs onto the Yumbo, noise is very minimal. And we love the pool and availability of loungers, and their bar serving draft beer and food. The pool areas gets good sunshine all day (in Jan anyway). Cliental was very mixed during our stay.

Improvements that would turn my 8 rating to a 9 or 10. To have their nespresso coffee machine being on all day, they currently switch this off after breakfast and just let you use a much inferior regular filter coffee machine. Or indeed, a nespresso machine in the room would be great! The motion detecting light bulb in the toilet is far too bright when you need the bathroom in middle of night. Also curtains to block out light from the back of the room would be a real plus, some people might find it hard to fall asleep due to the early lights coming through.

The property is perfectly located to gay night life and is spotless. Breakfast is nice and the staff wonderful and cannot do enough for you! The Dutch lady on reception is fabulous and an asset to the hotel :)

Would prefer a double bed as two single beds for a couple is a bit useless Small thing but having the safe on a higher shelf would make it much easier to see what’s in it as you practically have to get down on the floor to use it
