This hotel is a real find. It is in the most central location of Ortisei adjacent to shopping, restaurants and transportation. The ski bus and all transportation is just outside. It is a family run Hotel, the building itself is 350 years old and is really classically beautiful. The building is completely soundproof and I got some of the best sleep I've ever had there! If you want a true Alpine themed hotel with fantastic, friendly and helpful staff, and excellent management, this is the place! Peter, at the hotel manager is one of the nicest and friendliest persons we have ever met. He really made our stay so enjoyable! And his staff are very hard-working, friendly and professional. The hotel is impeccably clean and well appointed. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful. There is a wonderful breakfast served every morning with so many choices. Can't say enough good things about this lovely Hotel. We look forward to returning to Ortisei and the Garni Snartnerhof!
Hated to leave it was such a wonderful hotel and a terrific experience!

It was great. Very helpful kitchen staff.
We were given quick instructions on how to get to the parking the hotel provides, but we’re confused and ended up paying $95 to park for 3 days. Ugg. Make sure you have a very clear understanding of where the parking is to avoid that unpleasant experience.

We stayed for 5 nights during the last week of September and our first time in the Dolomites. It was centrally located in town and the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. It was in a great location where everything is close by. We walked everywhere which was great especially after a long hike in the Val Gardena mountains. We ate dinner in restaurants close by. At check in, the reception gave us a transportation pass that was good for public transportation which we used a lot to get around Val Gardena so we just left our car in the parking lot. We knew ahead of time that we had to pay for parking and the garage is just next to the hotel. The staff were awesome and very friendly. The breakfast was very filling and they offered a variety of food and drinks. I typically don’t eat pastries and the croissants were delicious. The servers at breakfast were the best and they serve coffee/cappuccino fresh. We used the jacuzzi everyday after our hike and it was a plus especially since it had beautiful Mountain View and the cable cars going up to Alpe di Suisi. We had a standard room with a good view of the city center. It was surprisingly quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again.

Peter and Jesus were fantastic hosts! They made us feel "at home" and we will always remember the both of you! Fantastic coffee every morning made by Jesus with latte art as well :) Breakfast selection was great! The hotel has a warm mountain cottage feel and the Samsung smart TV was fantastic to have when relaxing after a day of exploring the mountains around Ortisei. The rooms are large and clean. It was also fantastic to get a free pass to enjoy Mar Dolomiti Swim and Spa just a stroll away. There is also a sauna and jacuzzi on the Hotel's deck. The hotel was also centrally located and you can just walk to the Seceda & Mont Seuc cable cars. Noise from the adjacent road was also non apparent because you can simply shut the double glazed windows. I loved the sound of the river and actually left the window open (yes it was 0 Degrees C outside) every night :) Thank you for recommending the free parking lot just next to the hotel (where the roundabout is)! It was free for us when we visited in November (very low season). I would not hesitate to stay here again when I return to Ortisei!
The water temperature of the shower fluctuates between hot and cold so you'll need to constantly adjust it.

What a fabulous breakfast. Really nice apple strudel. Cake!!! Really nice prosciutto! Location by the buses in the middle of Ortisei, so convenient. Lovely to stay in a historic building. Be aware that there are nude artworks.
It is a historic building, no lift and no air con. The top floor room I had had shutters for the main window but light still came through a skylight, so I had to sleep in a mask. The single bed was narrow.

I stayed for 5 nights and they upgraded me for free. The room was very charming, full of light and very comfortable. I normally don't spend my time (except sleeping) in hotel rooms but this one was so good that I happily relaxed there after hiking in the mountains. The location right in front of the bus station is excellent and the tight windows ensured that the room was quiet. Breakfast was delicious and there was a wide range of food available. Best value for money I have experienced in a long time!

Location - it’s right next to the bus stop(a hub) and you don’t have to walk a lot with your ski shoes, it’s right outside the hotel. Ski storage room - They have one on the backside of the hotel. It has heated vents for ski shoes. Breakfast - it’s delicious and the spread is quite good. Don’t skip it for that price. Rooms - we got a room with a view and balcony, it was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable

Great location right in the Centre of Ortisei (San Antonio Plaza). Literally 2 steps away from the bus station—AND upon arrival, they gave us all complimentary bus passes to travel throughout the Dolomites to different hiking trails/mountain towns. Very close to a variety of restaurants, a grocery store, gelato, and souvenir shops. Shoutout to Peter, the owner of this gem of a hotel, who every morning greeted us at breakfast and helped us plan our itinerary—telling us the best places to hike, how to get there, cost, and accurate timing. He was very helpful throughout the entire week and made our stay absolutely wonderful. The breakfast is also top tier. It is buffet style with a variety of pastries, meats, fruits, traditional breakfast foods, and specialty coffee made to order! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience in the Dolomites.

The location - right at the city center, just next to the Ortisei bus stop to Bolzano, and just 5 min walk to Alpe di Siusi cable car station. The staff - friendly and helpful The room - clean, bright and spacious, and the toilet is good without odour Breakfast- nice
Accessibility - there are 10+ steps of stairs in the main door before reaching the information desk, a bit inconvenient for travellers with suitcases

The staff, rooms and location were fantastic, we absolutely loved our stay here. The breakfasts every morning were absolutely delicious, sooo many foods to choose from. We were in room 27 the superior room, the views were like from a painting. The staff were so so helpful with any questions we had about the area and they just had to be the happiest and friendliest people we have met
