The location was great, within walking distance to the Riverwalk and Alamo. The breakfast was very good!

We didn’t like the fact of having to pay $35 per night for valet parking! That information wasn’t revealed to me at booking !

The property was very nice. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good and well staffed.

The pool was dirty. There was bird poo and feathers in the pool from early in the morning until it closed. I know they have birds in the area, but someone should skim the large amount of feathers regularly knowing that they have a bird issue. Some of the seats were covered in bird poo even after they “cleaned” the pool, they would do well to put a cover over the one area where the majority of the issue is coming from. Also, they never cleaned our room even though we were there Sunday through Wednesday. They showed up one day early and we asked for them to come back in a few minutes and nobody ever showed up. I had to go to the desk to get towels twice.

I loved-the friendliness of the staff and the location to Riverwalk, Easy quick walk. Also the breakfast was good. Always a plus!

The main thing I disliked the most was the $35 a day parking which is ridiculous and that alone is why I want book here again. The area is not bad bad however there are homeless people walking around every where and the only other option to park is on the side of the road at a meters (if you can find one available) which you don’t wanna do due to the homeless. I feel like they are taking advantage of that. Also we had 2 roaches in our room. So we made sure to shake everything before we left so we didn’t take any back home.

It was walking distance to the River walk. Maybe 2 blocks . Breakfast was good and there valet the main man i don’t know his name older Hispanic gentleman he was exceptionally friendly talked with us gave us pointers and he needs a raise !! He was amazing got our car to us in no time !!

The location in regards to the Riverwalk was awesome. The staff was very pleasant. Everyone greeted me. The evening bartender Alex was very friendly. He gave great recommendations for sites and restaurants. He was a very helpful Ambassador for Springhill Suites. I will book my next visit in that hotel because of the warm, friendly service from everyone.

The breakfast was great. I was especially impressed by the staff, Terri in particular. She was kind, helpful, and took a genuine interest in our comfort.

The valet parking was a bit of a shock. We hadn’t planned for that and it was expensive.

Great location. Not far from down. Good breakfast. Employees were nice.

Lights in the room were set up weird. The main light above the bed had it's switch all the way by the door so you had to get up to turn it off. The prices of items in the little goods store in the lobby. I know, hotel stuff is always gonna have an up charge but I bought a bottle of Dr pepper, an ice cream bar and 1 hot pocket and it cost $18! Definitely not buying things from hotels again. The bed was pretty hard. Especially for someone like me with back issues it definitely didn't help after long days in the city.

Beds are comfortable. Breakfast is fine. Location is great, close to Alamo and Riverwalk. Parking is a bit expensive, 37$/night.

The sink is in front of the bathroom bit in separated area. If someone washes the hand it may disturb other while they sleep

Location very convenient. Good solid breakfast and variety. Room was good size for a family of 4. Having the sink area separate from the bathroom was helpful. I liked having the separate area with the couch and desk.

Parking was more than expected considering that there is no self-park option so it felt like we had no choice but to use the valet parking. The line for the waffle makers was very long both days so we did not get to benefit. There were several makers though so I would recommend spreading them out to form 2 lines .
