We came here to dive and were impressed! The diving facilities are good and access to the beach is very close by. They also have a diving boat which can bring you to places like Tulamben to dive the USAT Liberty wreck. The complex is small and beautifully kept, full of palmtrees and tropical plants. The bungalows each have sufficient privacy.

It was about 15-20 mins walk to the start of the village, which wasn't an issue for us but this does mean that most restaurants etc are on more than a 30 min walk away

This boutique accommodation had been designed/thought out with comfort and details upmost in mind. Outside bathrooms and lounge areas beautiful while considering privacy. Power points/light switches, shelving highly convenient. Even the details of providing sun umbrellas and aloe plants incase of sunburn or insect bite. Not to mention the amazing coffee and friendly staff. We loved our time here!

The near by road could be a little noisy but it didn’t bother us much

This little place only has 7 stand-alone villas which are quite privately set around the pool and beautiful garden. The villas are gorgeous with a lovely outdoor bathroom. It’s kids free and very quiet. There’s a restaurant which had nice Italian inspired food. Breakfast was not included and we didn’t eat any there as we usually went diving early and the restaurant wasn’t open. There are some great breakfast places nearby which open at 7am. The resort is about a 5 minute scooter ride away from Amed main street and the resort organised a good scooter for our stay for 70k a day. You could walk along the beach to town which is close but not a nice walk. It’s safe to scooter around as Amed is nowhere near as busy as South Bali. We would stay at Emocean Resort again as the accommodation is beautiful and it’s very quiet.

The resort’s diving facilities are not operational which we weren’t told prior to arrival even though I made several enquiries. We were new to diving so this was a bit annoying as we had to find our own dive centre. Now that we know how it all works it’s easy and there’s an abundance of centres (highly recommend Bali Dive Cove!) The staff need a bit of training in hospitality and customer service. No sun umbrellas and very little shade around the pool.

Loved my stay at emocean! Starting from the rooms & resort decor to the very diligent team of staff around. The restaurant staff were extra accommodating and prepared special meals for me as I had to follow a particular diet due to a chronic condition. I also did my open water certification with Frank and enjoyed every bit of it - the dive sites, company and some good banter throughout. Highly recommend the place if you are around Amed - it’s a gem in the heart of a very authentic Balinese village :)

Absolutely everything. The place was beautiful. The rooms were great, beds were extremely comfortable and the outside shower was amazing. The pool and surrounding areas were also beautiful. All the staff were great here and super friendly. Couldn't fault the location either, located just off the beach. You could also walk along the beach into Jemeluk Bay which took around 45 minutes or so but was well worth it with the snorkelling that you can do from the beach. Would 100% recommend and if ever back in Amed, we will use this accommodation.

There was nothing we didn't like here.

Fantastic rooms with a really comfortable bed. Bonus is the availability to wash our dive gear at the resort. Great place to stay if you are a diver or wish to start diving. Our dive guide Franck was amazing. The staff were friendly and approachable.

Can be a little isolated from the Amed main street but it can be easily walked to along the beach.

Beautiful small resort in Amed. Very modern and comfortable bungalows just outside of town in a peaceful and quiet area. Amed town is super easy and quick to reach by scooter, just ask the hotel staff and they will organize it for you. If you are a diver this place is perfect. They have very modern dive facilities and a brilliant dive instructor (Konstantin) who will show you around the best dive sites in Amed and Tulamben (For sure, the Liberty wreck has to be on everyone's bucket list).

Nothing to complain about.

Loved the location. Right on the beach. Restaurant overlooking the water. Nice facilities and spacious rooms.

They need to change the curtains for ones that don’t let the morning sun shine in. Every morning I was woken up by blinding sunshine at 6am. Only drawback. Otherwise a great hotel.

The small complex is slightly outside the centre of Amed, very quiet and right next to the beach. The rooms are simple but very nice and spacious with air con and an outdoor bathroom/shower (which was nice). The complex was kept pretty much spotless for the duration of our stay.

The only minor issue was that the kitchen is not finished and so our breakfast had to be ordered the day before and brought in from outside. The breakfast sandwiches themselves were very nice but it was a bit of a rush to get them in time to be able to head out diving.

Wonderfully decorated and supercomfortable bungalows with a stylish outdoor bathroom and veranda. The bed is so comfortable and the room has a wonderful light when you wake up in the morning. The whole place is very well maintained, has a nice garden and pool area. We had breakfast included and could choose from a quite big variety the evening before. Breakfast was then served at the time chosen directly to your room. We really enjoyed this service because it was super chilled out to have breakfast at the nice veranda in front of our own bungalow. Staff was also really helpful and friendly. The hotel organized a scooter for us which was very convenient. The sea is also just a few steps away from the hotel. However, we always went to certain beaches that were good snorkeling places (i’s just a view minutes by scooter). The hotel also organizes diving trips.
