We love everything about the hotel. We didn't really do much inside the hotel, we walked the city to take in the sights.

Parking was like a 2min walk away from the hotel. They do valet for 60 bucks, but we decided to make the walk. It was $5 for the day and $10 for overnight at the self parking lot.

Such a beautiful hotel. The luxury, furniture, colours, so nice and clean it looked. Many places to sit out and inside. The little lights, trees and plants between them: it was such a relief after te Hilton South Padre yesterday. Same price, 100 times better. Also a charming short walk to the river walk where one finds such a charming city Center and many restaurants. Nice staff, all smiles and pulling maps ; great. The room is big, original lay out, and the pool is great.

Maybe the prices of the drinks in the bar. although the bar is gorgeous, it was empty. Was it the pricing? I don’t know. But at the same time; going down town you do not want to miss.

The property fits well into the area and respects the culture and history of the city. The rooms are beautifully appointed and I especially loved the balcony for morning espresso—there is a machine with pods etc. in the room. The restaurant and room service were spot on delicious. We ordered steaks for room service and they arrived warm and perfectly cooked. We didn’t feel like going out and thought we’d get good food but likely lukewarm. Instead we received delicious food as if we were at the restaurant. The service in the spa was also excellent, as was the bar. Additionally, my wife is blind and the staff accommodated her in a way that was respectful and genuinely helpful. She felt comfortable navigating the hotel and going to the spa on her own. The staff genuinely seemed to care about the guests and were frankly great. I recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

I liked everything. I can’t think of a single thing that is in need of improvement. I’m fairly picky too, but this hotel simply was excellent.

All around wonderful stay. Stunning property, great patio/garden/pool bar. Really lovely staff, great restaurant, big room, smart tv, very convenient location.

A little disappointed with some nitpicky design things…the light in the bathroom was motion activated only, and wouldn’t stay on while taking a shower. I couldn’t find any way to turn off the light in the closet, so it was always on. The thermostat didn’t seem to have a way to keep just the fan going. The ongoing major construction on the main street outside of the hotel was loud in the early morning and annoying to walk around. Also, what’s with hotels not having nice, easily accessible stairwells? Taking the elevator to go up or down one floor is so dumb, so I used the access stairway which was unfinished, without AC, had a staff-person’s apron and trash in it at one point…

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There location was great.

During my stay the valet service was stressful. There’s several times I received notifications from my Mercedes app that my car doors were unlocked because they did not lock the door after parking it. On Saturday I received a notification from them stating my car was ready for pick up around 10a and I did not wake up until almost noon. I was not please with the lack of car to my car. Just imagine how many other vehicles that don’t have an app they leave unlocked. They’re also now trying to charge me twice for my stay vs the additional items that’s due.

While parking can be a bit of a hassle and is on the pricier side, the overall experience makes it well worth the stay. Highly recommended for a luxurious getaway!

Great stay , staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. They didn't have any New Years packages left so they still gave us late checkout free of charge which i thought was cool , that gave us more time to checkout the amenities since we only stayed 1 night It was about 45 outside degrees and we decided to try the heated pool and it was very relaxing , they even give you nice robes to use in your room. Overall 9/10 Valet quite pricey i understand the in & out privileges but personally i think there should be 2 options and no in and outs to be cheaper. Will stay again to try the Spa in the future!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Plaza San Antonio Hotel! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel right at home. The check-in process was incredibly smooth and quick, making the start of my trip stress-free. The hotel is impressively clean, with spotless common areas and rooms. Our room was spacious and comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The decor was modern and tasteful, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Another highlight of the Plaza San Antonio Hotel is its fantastic location. It's just a short walk to the famous Riverwalk, which made exploring the area super convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Antonio—great service, comfort, and a prime location!

Decor and vibe. Beautiful spacious airy rooms and lovely material textures - from headboard to rugs and tile inserts on floor. Fabulous wood furniture pieces carried through to bathroom vanity. Loved the garden areas. Very zen/tranquil oasis. Great friendly and attentive service - rooms tended to during the day. Very helpful staff at check in and checkout. Fab location - to walk on riverwalk (we did 5 miles round trip) or ride your bike the other way to the missions (we did about 25 miles round trip). We were right by the Day of the Dead/ Día de los Muertos festivities in San Antonio. Appreciate the extra hour to checkout (one bicycle had a flat) enabling us to go for a good walk on the riverwalk. Enjoyed the facilities: happy hour at the bar and tea ceremony at 7:30am (though it was less ceremony and more an opportunity to try a cup of specialty tea in the beautiful gardens). Missed the option for free yoga over the weekend, but that was because we were out cycling. Was tempted by the spa services - I could do with a pedicure after the cycling and walks. Guess we will have to come back and allow for a day of recovery at the spa :-)

About the only thing we can say is we didn’t think the bed pillows were up to snuff - felt like those bits of/shredded foam pillows. I say “we” cause spouse felt the same. Also, the parking, but we knew that going in and was able to secure at a reasonable rate nearby.

Food great—especially the biscuits! Front desk and restaurant staff all exceptional.

All food very expensive—no options for grab and go. A nespresso machine is fancy but does not give you a CUP of coffee, nor did the restaurant sell a to go cup. We had to order a $25 pot of coffee from room service. Even Holiday Inn lets you go downstairs to get a cup of coffee! First time Ive seen the hotel since redesign, it was nice, but not as warm and comfortable as the old version. No public space downstairs to sit, just restaurant. Same for outdoors all public space is restaurant, bar or pool. Room opening up right into bathroom is a spacesaver, I guess, but awkward since you cant open the front door to enter or leave if someone is in the shower….
