the food, the staff, the kids facilities, the pool villa. everything there was excellent

food is very expensive, good but very expensive compared to Thailand prices. The hotel is not located on the beach, we had to use Anantara Mai Kaho hotel facilities, and there I felt very uncomfortable. Right when I went to use one of the beach chairs of Anantara Mai Khao an employee jumped at me and asked for my room number. I said that I stay at Anantara Vacation Club and in return he pointed to the corner where there are designated pool chairs… I felt really uncomfortable by that and practically it ruined my feeling… It felt as if I am treated as coach class on an airplane despite paying for first class tickets

my favourite place in Phuket! awesome property, well maintained and manicured gardens, beautiful grounds with every activity available from tennis, bike riding, rock climbing, archery, boxing, and of course the awesome pool! We booked a 1 bedroom suite, for myself, my helper and my 6yo for 4 nights. The apartment has large balcony overlooking the pool area which is what we loved best, bed was super comfortable, many days spent at the pool and kids club. Breakfast options were plentiful and varied, sushi, noodle station, egg station, the works. amazing place for kids and definitely no reason to leave. Also loved the live band at Seven !

Probably only thing is that there isn’t much around. The beach is also not directly accessible, need to get out of the resort, walk 300m down the street and cross the road. No shops nearby except for 7eleven. There is no spa on site, if massages are needed, you are driven by buggy to the sister resort down the street. They could perhaps offer an in room massage option! Some clever locals decided to set up a local massage station at a fraction of the cost right on the beach - only issue is that it’s open air, when we were there it was dusk and plenty of mosquitos!

Loved the apartment style room, huge space with large balcony, perfect for family holiday. Great choice of food, excellent quality and fab kids meals and variety. Our nearly 3 year old enjoyed the kids club (with a parent), fun activities and good place to hide from the sun in very hot periods of the day. Waterslides we’re amazing and massive plus point for our daughter.

Only thing we didn’t like were the big bugs/beetles in the evenings but they were cleared away in the mornings fortunately…

We like the garden and its perfect maintenance, the swimming pool, the opportunity to use the services of the many good resorts that are present in the area. We had a good breakfast and superb dinner buffet, for quality, variety and quantity. The one-bedroom apartment is perfectly designed, has all you may desire, a full kitchen, a big bathroom, a great living area and a separate bedroom, with a super big bed. and an enjoyable terrace.

There was only one bad experience: the cleaning service was perfect after the first night. After the second night, the cleaning lady made a bad job, leaving many things not cleaned and the bedroom not in order. Of course we complain with the concierge, but nothing happened.

Great location, really pleasant, extra large and clean rooms. Staff always polite and friendly, they predict what you will need, this is the thing that makes this such a perfect place to stay apart of the location and the facilities. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We have to thank Tony at Tour Desk that found the best extraction for us even in the last moment, the reception staff arranging the PCR test, the pickup and return to the airport, they offer us a room to change after check-out because of our late flight, the staff at TAURUS restaurant where we had our breakfast that always found a place outside for us. We were amazed by the Fantastic service, every single person we interacted with from the Front office, Housekeeping, F&B, Spa, Gym had a genuine approach, always with a smile. Congratulations also to the management for offering such a good working environment so their employees have such a positive attitude. The breakfast had so many choices that you had to stay for month in order to try everything, every day they had new things and for all tastes. The beach was magic and so quite it is like be in paradise. Will never forget the 7 days we stayed in Anantara Vacation Club already we are looking forward to visit again in April.

Massive resort. Food was good. Villas were nice and cosy. Staff were all top notch. Staff are the best part of the resort. Buggy services, facilities were all good.

Villas are getting a bit dated now. Kids zones needs a bit more work, as their program is a bit more old school. Pool bar closes at 7 and Pool is open till 9. Doesn't work. Can't get drinks near the pool or delivered after 7pm. Seven bar is also only open on certain days, not everyday. Not worth spending top dollar here. The pushiness to sign up for the Vacation Club program was the worse part. People come here on holidays not to sign up for long term commitments.

The resort was very beautiful and clean and facilities were wonderful. The suite we stayed in was very spacious - there was so much space! We especially loved the private pool we had on the ground floor. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and breakfast each morning was fantastic. The spread remains pretty similar across the days, but the range is great. We really enjoyed the water slides, and there are free classes of yoga/kickboxing etc, and plenty of children activity as well. This was a great place to stay as a family. It's also near the beach that had fantastic sunset views all 3 nights we were there.

The pillows are feather pillows and completely flattened overnight, I woke up multiple times because it was too flat. The location is also quite far from any main towns/eateries, so you're pretty much stuck in the area unless you're willing to drive about 45-60 mins down to the Bang Tao area. There's plenty of food at the resort and nearby resorts though and at least it's very near the airport.

Breakfast had a broad selection covering a wide variety of food types from Asian and western cuisine. Coffee is typical hotel standard, very crowded but when you check in they advise you on least crowded times.

The hotel is so far from all tourist attractions, you will pay a fortune in taxis and waste a significant portion of your day in travel. I recommend you either rent a car or download a taci app to save on transportation
