Great hotel, recently refurbished very comfortable room with queen and single bed with Aircon. Good sized, clean modern bathroom and coffee machine in room. Staff very friendly and welcoming and able to speak English every well. Restaurant downstairs was able.to accomodate us without booking and had choice of 1, 2 or 3 course set menu with buffet style starters and desserts and choice of 3 main courses. Only stayed 1 night for early ferry from Caen the next day which was 20 minutes easy drive from hotel. Free carpark with barrier also. Will definitely stay again, thank you!

Nothing, all absolutely great.

The hotel appeared recently refurbed and we were delighted because when we booked it was rated 2 star, and to be honest, it was nicer than some 4 stars we had stayed at. We arrived at around 11:00pm but the reception area was staffed - and the bar was open until 1:00am. There were plenty of parking spaces and it was secure enough. You need a code to get in after a certain time, which reception provided. The hotel itself was way above our expectations - so much so that we booked to stay on our return. The rooms were clean and comfortable and air conditioned. The air-con was blasting away, but easy to change. The showers are a generous size and there is a proper hairdryer (not one of these secured to a wall) and plenty of fluffy towels. There was no view to speak of, but we were only doing a night stop. There is a Buffalo Grill restaurant literally next door to the hotel, and close by, Chinese, Italian and French restaurants. The Staff were charming, and extremely helpful and friendly and spoke English (and didn't laugh at my French). They booked us a taxi into town. Nothing was too much trouble. There are regular Trams into Caen close to the hotel if you prefer. There is a large Carrefour nearby where you could do your food shop before you head off on your journey. The breakfast was great - lots of choice from a cooked English to continental style - so something for everyone. I would definitely recommend it for an overnight stay.

Perhaps instructions for the Nespresso machine. I had no clue how to work it and ended up getting water everywhere!!

The staff was super helpful and friendly. We came late at night with a pizza take-out (everything else was already closed) and they let us sit in the dining room, provide us with cutlery and napkins and even took the pizza cartons to the dump so won't have to go out in the rain. Room was very nice, spacious enough for 3 adults, shower was very good. Everything was clean and well maintained. Breakfast had a good variety of food, coffee, tea and juices. The had a privet parking with additional cost.

The room is basic but extremely clean and all my needs were catered for. Coffee machine in the room was a bonus. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The secure parking exactly as described and I felt sure I would see my motorbike in the morning which is always my first priority when travelling.

Very difficult to find the hotel with all the new building work being undertaken at the nearby Hospital and confusing detours. Both sat navs could not find the location. The room was smaller than expected but no reasn not to stay again.

Clean room, shower room, comfy and fresh beds, clean and fresh towels, efficent clothes hanging section tea/coffee facilities, breakfast, friendly staff, clean and tidy breakfast stand, options of breakfast buffet, parking, entrance and inside of the hotel, its lounge, garden and clean smell of ehole hotel. Also, it's 17 minutes from Caen port, which was a bonus.

I wish there were options of cheese in the breakfast.

Great location if going to do Normandy touring. Easy to get out of city and head towards sites. Good breakfast and quaint bar. Little over 2 hrs from Paris and about an hr to St. Meriglise!!

A/C is restricted by french gov by outside temps so if u sleep hot bring a small fan.

Lovely clean room with all the facilities you need for one night. Nice bathroom and tasty coffee. Staff were friendly and check in was easy. It was super quiet and I had really good night sleep.

It is quite hidden and not very well sign posted but that’s not really a problem.

Everything was very nice. The location is very near to everything. The car parking is really comfortable, just outside the hotel. The room was comfort and clean. The breakfast was very good. I reccommend this hotel and i will prefer stay here again in the future.

The hotel and rooms were very clean, staff were helpful and very friendly. An excellent value for money hotel.

The hotel was a little bit out from the town centre, so there were not a lot of restaurants nearby.

Check in was easy. Some of the staff had limited English, and our French is very much schoolboy, communication was not easy, but it was fun! Breakfast was excellent.

A few more tea bags and coffee in the room would have been nice.
