Location, very close to shopping mall and dining, 3 minutes to metro(subway), right next to UNIQLO(Asian H&M), pharmacy, Apple store, Sketchers, Five Guys...etc. It is clean and quiet, the staffs are very helpful.

You can choose 1 from 4 options(type of food) for the breakfast, they ring the bell every morning at 7:00 and put a box in front of the door. Coffee is cool slightly and the food is lousy. Book this hotel w/o breakfast and go out, there are plenty of restaurants near the hotel. I was expecting a restaurant in the hotel property, but NO.

The staff have a good service attitude and even accompany me to the road for directions. Located in the center of the city, convenient transportation, more convenient shopping, next to the famous Times Square. The room price is suitable.

Asked two hotel front desk staff, both said the only way to get to the airport in the middle of the night was by taxi. However, I finally found the public midnight bus to the airport on my phone APP. Could it be that these two, like me, are also newcomers to Hong Kong? ...

Staff were great. They were very helpful and attended to every need quickly and attentively. I called for an extra pillow and they literally arrived two minutes later and with two extra adapters. They proactively also asked if we needed anything and when we said no, they suggested several different items including extra bottled water.

Humidity levels in the room and corridor were high. The fold out sofa is not comfortable. And the rooms can be cleaner (dusting).

Great location, MRT station 5 mins walk

Lift 🛗 was not working throughout our stay which was inconvenient . You need to change 2 lifts to go from G to lobby and to room

Staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to make our stay more convenient and comfortable. From late check out, to room choice, to getting us a cab. Location was right beside Times Square Mall where there are many dining and shopping options. MTR Station not too far away (even if you travel at ground level). Towels were new and replaced daily; bed linen and pillows were fresh. Vouchers for Preface Coffee well appreciated.

The rooms look a little tired, and the last renovation wasn't what I'd expect from Hongkong workers (paint drips, brush marks, cracked rest room door handle). As with rest of HK, no bidet - and the generous supply of toilet paper was sadly, all single ply. The in-room coffee was Nescafe instant - made me nostalgic hehe - but thankfully, there were vouchers for their partner coffee shop nearby. AC was very nice and cold - but could not be adjusted. Landline phone wasn't working at all (only tried it before check out). Included breakfast (through a partner resto) was 'ok' at best.

Dear Manager of the Holiday Inn Express Causeway Bay, All the staff are excellent from the Concierge to the reception staff to the cleaners who always greet us when they see us guests. Everyone is well trained. The concierge helped us book a Jumbo taxi as we were a large party and had a lot of luggage. He had us wait inside the lobby whilst it was raining outside, very thoughtful. Also special thanks to Vivian Chan from the front desk who went above and beyond always. We rebooked this hotel because of Ms. Vivian Chan. My elderly mother who was travelling alone two years ago stayed here and Ms. Chan went above and beyond helping her with her HK Sim card set up, getting her the correct phone numbers for places she wished to visit and really looked after her. Because of this experience two years ago, on this family trip booking 3 rooms, we chose your hotel again. Thank you for looking after us. The convenience to everything in Causeway Bay is ideal. Can't ask for a better location for great food, great shopping. Close to trams, buses and MTR (subway).

The only things I can say that is: 1) The beds are rather firm (too hard), actually I had a back ache for my entire 10 day visit. Lucky I can go to massage a couple of times for relief. The pillows are too soft, because they are rather slim down pillows, once you put your head down, they also lie flat underneath your head. I used my travel pillow to sleep on. 2) The restaurant breakfast. Unfortunately with the limited menu and catering to tastes not to my own preference, the breakfast is not great. However, since we are close to many restaurants, we easily went elsewhere for breakfast.

The location is great! :) Room is clean and comfortable. Loved the breakfast vouchers in Mcdonalds or Starbucks.

Walk inside the MTR Causeway Bay Station to get to the train is quite far.

Location is excellent. Staff are friendly. Room is clean and quite spacious consider the location. We booked the slightly bigger room.

Breakfast was quite disappointing as it offers 4 different sets instead of buffet style. I waited 20 mins for my breakfast. I paid for 4 days but only had once, didn’t want to go back. Pillows were too soft. The design of the sink is wrong. You need to turn the tap almost to the max in order to wash your hands properly. But because of that, you wet the sink each time. It is also quite difficult to fill up the kettle due to the design of the sink.

Breakfast should have more variety/options.

The staff are very helpful and nice. As we had a lot of baggages upon arrival, it would have taken a long time to take them to our room if the staff didn't help us to take them.

The choice of breakfast is rather limited. We could only eat the breakfast prepared by the hotel in our room. The hotel only offers cash vouchers of McDonald's and Starbucks. Besides, I think the hotel can take reference to their counterparts in Japan by providing self-serviced amenity corner at lobby so that the guests don't need to call the staff for amenities everyday. This can also save the time if staff.
