Well designed, clean and modern. Love the infinity pool and it’s private beach.The restaurant provides delicious food and cocktails, staff are all very friendly and accommodating. There’s a mall right next to the hotel, you can get souvenirs, yummy ice cream from bee farm and a 7-11.

The private beach area is very well maintained however there are lots of mini jellyfish and sea urchins in the water. Be extra careful especially when you travelling with small kids.

Everything. The hotel really exceeded my expectations. The hotel was super clean and everything looks new. The staff - all very friendly and helpful. They always ask if we need anything--not just the vague offers of help. The location is great as it is only 10 minutes away from the airport. It also has a mall beside it, with a laundry shop and convenience store. The restaurant staff were exceptional. I observed they were extra helpful to guests with kids. The beach was super clean and beautiful. All the furniture in the hotel looked nice and clean. If you need your room to be cleaned, you just have to press the housekeeping button outside your door. Overall, my family had great fun staying there. My kids are looking forward to coming back. PS. I love the room slippers, they're cute.

Very good location. Food is very good too. The beach is great for kids. Our stay at Modala Resort Bohol was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we were picked up at the airport, everything was flawless. The first day was a perfect blend of relaxation and exploration, starting with a beach visit and a comprehensive tour of the hotel. The resort’s white sand beachfront is stunning, providing a serene and picturesque setting. Our room, with an ocean view and two king-size beds, was a highlight. The smart TV allowed us to easily access our Netflix, making our downtime even more enjoyable. The bathroom was well-appointed and added to the overall luxury of the stay. Dining at the resort's restaurant was a delightful experience. The food was excellent, with the Karne Pizza quickly becoming our favorite. The fries were perfectly cooked and delicious. The breakfast buffet offered a great selection, ensuring a satisfying start to each day. The staff at Modala Resort were exceptional—fast, responsive, and always ready to assist. Their impeccable service added a personal touch to our stay. We also appreciated the convenience of having a mall right beside the hotel, complete with a 7-Eleven and various restaurants. It made it easy to grab essentials or enjoy a meal outside the resort.

The only slight drawback was the JNP Tours boat, which was one of the noisiest we have ever ridden. However, this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise perfect trip.

- Breakfast was awesome! Stayed there for 3 nights 4 days and they changed the variety everyday. The refill to some staples were fast too. - Staff was exceptionally superb! Everyone was polite and warm to the guests - Shout out to WINSTON for helping me pull up a surprise for my boyfriend (He helped me hide a cake in the room when it arrived and we werent in the vicinity) - Availed their in room massage and it was awesome! - I love the food items in their menu. Great value for money :) - The mall adjacent to the hotel made our stay convenient - Well-maintained beach front property

- THEY SHOULD IMPROVE THEIR EMAIL AND PHONE HOTLINES! I messaged them weeks before my trip for inquiries but they don't reply within 24 hours. They were more available in their instagram account for inquiries - Slow Internet Connection - Please provide a free daily shuttle to Alona Beach for your guests. - We didn't have the greatest view - Offer more activities to the guests (ex. cocktails night, invite people who can offer braids, tattoos, massage within the beach, etc)

The place was simply awesome! The Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A special shout out to Sweet and Claudine for a fast and efficient check-in! The breackfast had a lot of choices and they changed it up a little each day. The restaurant was well appointed both inside and out. The menu was vas very diverse and all the food we ordered was delicious. A special shoutout to Bobby who always remembered our names and looked after us attending to our every needs. The pool and pool bar was perfect. A nice beach as well with plenty of longe chairs and umbrellas. I will definately be back!

They have the best beach I've ever seen: white sandy, clean, shallow and warm water full of starfish Staff are tactful, specially in the kitchen. They offer a good menu. I had my best steak over there.

Even though I was in their VIP room and: 1. Wifi was not fast. 2. It didn't have hot water (only warm water). Jacuzzi and showers on the pool offer only cold water. 3. To turn on /off all the lights in the room, I need to press +8 buttons. Annoying.

Service and cleanliness is top. Staff very helpful.

As per my flight I had to arrive early. At 8.00 I have been told the room was for cleaning but we go the room at 11.30. Upon checkout no chance to stay till 1 or 2 as the hotel was full. They may have allocated our room for arrival later in the afternoon. I understand FO follows the policy but as we had a toddler with us , paying a highest rate due to last minute booking, I guess some Non included service would have been nice

Wow! This resort was amazing and perfect for our family with two small children. Personally, my experience of this place was of a five-star resort because of the amenities, the views, the room and the customer service. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The pool was so great that we did not spend much time at the beach despite the beach being only a 1 minute walk from the resort. The pool area also had a kids section and a spa. Some features worth mentioning are: - we were in room 304 which had a perfect view of the pool and beach. - thick double glazed windows meant that we couldn't hear much of the pool noise. - A great breakfast buffet spread. Offerings of traditional filipino dishes and non-filipino dishes - Great resort restauarant. The menu identified which meals had gluten, meat, etc. - a nearby quiet beach which is much less crowded than Alona beach. - daily room clean available. - in house laundry available, but pricey. There is a local laundry near the 7eleven which is so much cheaper, and they provide same day service. - airport pickup and drop off available for a fee. - life guards at the pool. - food and drinks service available at the pool. - complimentary pool towels available. - Queen beds are super comfortable. - there are a handful of near by restaurants within the Moadto complex. - nearby 7eleven to get bottled water chocolates, etc. - ATM available. - the fireworks during NYE was very impressive

Staff were not familiar with gluten free dietary requirements. The area can be very smoky as the locals seem to burn their rubbish. Unfortunately this might be common across the Philippines.

The Modala felt very premium, the whole experience was polished. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner were sublime. We had a balcony on our room and we loved the view of the construction site and cranes (no, really - it was very interesting to watch). The bed was amazing and the air conditioning was perfect. The staff were lovely, service with a smile always. The breakfast excellent with a full range of options available. It was great eating breakfast outside overlooking the ocean. The pool was great to go in and nice to sit around. The location is great (we were on a motorbike) but there was plenty of shops and eateries nearby. North Zen Villas is close by for an amazing sunset spot.

The shower was a little weak and there was not really much warmth to it but it was ok. The gym was a bit small but got an ok workout in anyway.

The property is amazing. I'm visiting the Philippines for the first time with my boyfriend who is native to the country. It was our first time visiting Bohol. We decided to stay on Panglao Island at Modala Beach Resort for two nights and it was phenomenal!!!!!! The breakfast was delicious with great variety to suit any palette and the staff were so sweet to us. Beach access is right below the pool just take some stairs and you'll be looking at beautiful white sand beaches. They provide towels for both beach and pool which I thought was nice. We received welcome drinks on arrival, which were delicious and refreshing!!! We booked the sunset room and it was spacious, and clean. The bathroom was very luxurious with full amenities. Special shoutout to Niño who attended to us at breakfast he was so attentive and sweet!!! There's also a strip mall right next door incase you want other choices of eateries as well as 7 Eleven and a great affordable laundry service next door. Overall it was a wonderful and relaxing vacay weekend!!!
