The owners, Debbie and Mike couldn"t have done more for me. Having arrived later in the evening due to a last minute booking, they were both there to greet me. My single bedroom was welcoming, spotless and had a modern touch. There was a kettle with plenty of tea, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, biscuits and even a bottle of water. These were replenished the following morning. The bathroom was also spotless with a lovely warm shower. Breakfast was a very pleasant experience. There was a wide choice of continental items: juices, cereals, breads, yoghurts, fresh fruit with plenty of strawberries and hot drinks with fresh coffee. There was also the option of a cooked breakfast but I enjoyed poached eggs on toast both mornings kindly offered to me by Debbie. The location of the Hollingworth is perfect and is within a few minutes walk of the shops, St Anne's pier and the beach. I parked up my car on their private car park and didn't need to use it for my 2 days stay which was refreshing. Thank you to you both.

Usually, being 'lazy', I don't make an effort to review somewhere I have stayed in but, this time, I WILL make an effort. Debbie and Mike were one of the nicest people you could ever meet. They were very friendly and made an effort to understand why you were in the area. The accommodation was much better than I had expected. I had a single room that was very clean, big enough for one person and very much up to date. There was a kettle, numerous choices of beverages (including a bottle of water) and plug sockets that had USB ports for charging your various devices. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of cupboard and hanging spaces for your clothes. The bathroom was modern, extremely clean, and the shower was big enough for those of us who like 'a bit of space'. I took the option of having a full English breakfast and willl admit that it was plentiful, well cooked, to order, and very, very tasty. If I had decided to take the continental breakfast then I would have not been at all disappointed. There were many choices of bread (including crumpets), fresh fruit, various cereals, yoghurts etc etc. Two toasters and fresh coffee. One of the things that stood out for me was that there was a stair lift which I have never seen before in bnb accommodation - not that I needed a stairlift but, it was a bonus for those who would have benefitted from it. I am sure that I have missed other positives of the accommodation but it is difficult to highlight them as they flow naturally into what you would hope to see in somewhere to stay when you are away from home.

Only being there for 3 days

Buffet continental was exceptional, plenty of variety. All fresh! Optional cooked breakfast, bargain £7 came out piping hot, excellent variety on the full English > highly recommend. Fresh juices and hot drinks to choose from with fruits and breads too. Room had all what was required for the stay, a fan, heater, kettle > drinking facilities and TV plus an hair dryer. Hosts were very welcoming and attentive. No parking issues, beautiful location, secure, hosts informative, therefore we would return and recommend.

Not a negative on Owner but our own selection of room, booked budget which was fine but bathroom on the small side especially for the taller individual. Nect time we will book a larger room. This has no reflection on our stay as would recommend and return. Maybe black out blinds would be a suggestion.

The hosts, Debbie and Mike, were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they looked after us extremely well. The location is spot on; we were actually visiting family in Preston, but decided to stay closer to the beach - which is just a short stroll up the road. There are also shops and restaurants right on the doorstep, should you need anything. The choice of breakfast was great and you can even order extras, if you fancy it. The B&B is also very clean, which is a definite plus in my book. Highly recommended if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Nothing. It was all good.

Central location close to seafront shops Restaurants & Bars within walking distance. Clean and modern room. Walk in spacious shower. Plenty tea coffee and biscuits on arrival. Debbie and Mike the hosts are lovely and friendly 😁 And to top it all Breakfast really nice and plenty of choice 👍🏻 What more can you ask for? Would recommend to anyone staying in St Annes. Nothing negative to say. Really positive and pleasant stay.

The owners were very friendly. We were late running due to the M1 & M6 closures but they were happy to wait up for us. We went for a basic room as we were staying for a wedding so wouldn't be spending much time at the room at all but it had everything we needed & the bed was really comfortable. Would recommend staying here.

Not a complaint as it is purely circumstances as I'm pregnant the spacing in the bathroom was quite tight to move around freely in the basic room so if you're pregnant take that into account & upgrade to one with a bigger bathroom :).

Where to start.. from the minute we booked with Deb and Mike, they made us feel extremely welcome. Emails and phonecalls to check on what we would require. Being our first holiday with our little baby, we were extremely anxious and worried about how she would settle. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with open arms. We were made to feel at ease instantly. The room was perfect it felt like a home from home. Spacious and comfortable, and they made sure the cot was nice and comfortable for Amelia. Rooms were far enough appart that you couldn't hear other guests or they hopefully couldn't hear our little girl if she cried. They had 2 cats lilo and stitch, which made it even more like home. :D instantly made me smile. The hotel itself is lovely. We loved it. The little complimentary teas and coffees and hot chocolates in the room. There were lots of bath towels, which was ideal. A hairdryer in the room and hangers !!!! Hangers are one thing I dont often see in a hotel. I've been to plenty where you are expected to leave them in suitcases. The room was spotless and very well looked after. Amelia settled immediately and to know our little girl was happy, and content meant the world to us. One evening after we had arrived back, amelia was a little upset... Deb instantly got her some toys and gave her some snuggles, which i felt was so lovely and just reiterated how lovely the 2 of them are. We sat in the lounge, and they put Bluey on for her (another lovely touch). i could honestly go on and on about this place. everything was spot on. The breakfast was probably one of the best we've ever had. Made fresh, and everything was cooked to perfection. We honestly struck gold with the Hollingworth, and we are already planning our next visit. I would highly recommend staying here.

We couldn't fault the place !!! There is absolutely nothing we would change about our stay other than us booking for longer, which we intend to do next time. We came away feeling like we had gained 2 friends. We can't wait to go back and see the cats, the children, and Deb and Mike again.

Excellent bnb , nothing is too much for Mike and Debbie. They are very welcoming and friendly, which makes your stay even better. Breakfast is freshly cooked for you ,but if you only want continental, there is a vast amount to choose from, even crumpets ( which you don't see ).Bus stop across the road to take you to Blackpool. Thanks for sorting our stay. We will be back

Owners are great, very welcoming, amenable and relaxed. Good atmosphere all round. Our kids enjoyed the whole experience and the joking around at breakfast. Breakfast choice is good and the scrambled eggs are lovely 😁. The room and bathroom were spotless and we appreciated the extra bottles of water everyday.

Nothing to complain about.
