The hotel has a good location, and on arrival appears to be a very grand building with its carpeted stairs and very large open hallway. The room itself was clean with a good size bathroom.

The room we were allocated was at ground level behind the reception. Access to the room takes you through corridors and doors which are more like a service area than a guest area. In fact the receptionist handling our arrival did not know where the room was. The room itself was an unusual design, with the bed on a mezzanine floor over a small seating area with adjoining bathroom. On arrival the room seemed dull and the card activated light switch kept going off, so our first impression was doubtful. However, once the exact position of the card to keep the lights on was mastered, and we discovered that we could open the shutters outside the window to let light in, we were much happier and appreciated the room more.

We all liked the staff immensely and our dinner was one of the best during our two weeks of touring!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating! The updates to the bar and dinning areas were wonderful. The breakfast was beyond our expectations and the dining area had a lovely view of the ocean. Our wonderful experience at your hotel kicked off our vacation beautifully!! As a Hilton Honors diamond member, I initially called to inquire about a hotel in Civitavecchia. Your hotel was one of Hilton's recommendations. Upon return from our vacation, I contacted Hilton to let them know we were very happy!

It’s an ideal location close to the port for any cruise line leaving Rome, Civatevechia. Great restaurants nearby, shopping and deli. Cute Casino at the corner and the Ocean “Malecón” style to go jogging or Biking or a stroll is just feet away. If your port is Civatevechia as your embarking point I recommend you come 1 day before and stay in this quaint beautiful Italian town.

It was perfect at a good price nothing bad to say. I would stay there again.

The location was great. There is an elevator. Our room was disappointing and didn't feel clean. The spreads and decor is dated. I thought we'd have gotten a room with a view and didn't. We asked for a quick room which was a mistake. The shower flooded the entire bathroom which then it was slippery dangerous. The breakfast was satisfactory. The terrace restaurant was nice. 9th

Smells, bedding, no view

I have stayed here previously. The front desk was not very pleasant to deal with this time. We had a balcony room split level. The couch bed is as hard a a rock! There was only 1 necafe packet in our room and when I asked for another one I was told they were not provided. We paid $300 for the night plus an additional $10 a person for the breakfast and the breakfast was half what is was the year before. I think we will try a different hotel next time.

The rooms were a fair size, and the staff were pleasant. There was a fair selection for Continental Breakfast in the morning. This hotel is close to the Cruise Port, and they provide a shuttle for 15 Euros per person. The shuttle was organised this time around, unlike our previous visit in 2017

The shuttle allocation was given on a first come first served basis, so if you arrive late to the Hotel, you are given the later time for the shuttle. We had an early check in, but because our flight didn't arrive until early afternoon, we had to wait until 12.30 for the second shuttle.

We were taking a cruise the next morning, If we knew that this hotel was in such a great location we would of got there earlier. a 5 minute walk from the train station, Civitavecchia is a nice little town with lots of things to do. As for the hotel it exceeded our expectations. Very clean hotel with very comfortable beds, a good breakfast with a good selection and an extremally courteous staff. Why waste time in Rome when there is a great hotel near the cruise port and a good selection of restaurants and a nice walk by the sea!!

We couldn't stay longer.

We didn't get there until 1 a.m. Sunday morning, and left at 10;45, so don't really have much to say about it. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was very accommodating as far as getting us to the cruise port in a timely manner and basically pulled right up to the boarding area where we didn't have to tote our luggage very far.

My only complaint from our short stay was the bed was a little hard for our taste.

Excellent location. Excellent staff. The windows are very awkward to look outside and dangerous to try to lock the shutters. The entrance is beautiful but going up the stairs is challenging for people with, even slight, mobility issues. We used to go to the Hotel De La Ville. and this time it was the price that made us choose San Georgio.

The bathroom toiletries all look the same. Hard to read what is a shampoo, conditioner or a bath gel.

The team at Hotel San Georgio couldn't have been more helpful. Helped arrange coach collection for 23 from the airport to the hotel and then to our cruise ship the following day. Assisted with all our bags - even took mine to my room to help . Reception, food and service was fantastic - Staff were just so professional and courteous.- A credit to your company. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return

Air con in room was a bit noisy and clunky but it wasn't really a problem
