We stayed in a very generously sized 2 bedroom apartment. There was plenty of room for the four of us to spread out and having two bathrooms was great. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Great location on the quay and shops and supermarkets within a 5 minute walk. Special mention to Amber and Caoimhe on reception - they are both absolutely lovely and couldn’t be more helpful. We stayed in the apartment over Christmas while visiting our family close by and it was a perfect base for us.

The only thing that caught us out was the parking which cannot be accessed after 10pm. We had to park over in the Talbot hotel car park one night as we were shut out. It would also be good to have more information about recycling - we accumulated quite a lot of recycling and would have been happy to take it downstairs to a collection point to help get rid of it. Very minor points as the apartment was just great.

Very spacious accommodation and very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very central location. Food in Talbot hotel was excellent for breakfast and dinner.

A deposit is taken immediately on arrival from bank account to cover any damage during stay. However, it takes aprox 5 days after departure to get this refunded, which is not explained to guests and is very inconvenient to families on holiday. Also, 10am checkout is too early, and failure to check out by 10am incurs a €50 charge. Although we managed to check out in time, it was difficult with my elderly wheelchair bound mother.

Nice modern apartment in a block right in the town centre. Very spacious and well equipped, had everything needed for an extended stay including washing machine, dryer, iron, hairdryer etc Multi storey complimentary parking on the same level as the apartment meant our motorbikes were under cover and secure. Fabulous big comfy beds and powerful showers are always a bonus! Staff were very friendly and helpful but only available from 8-6. Lots of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. Particularly liked ‘crust’ who do lovely sourdough pizza! Liked the fact there was a dishwasher but you only get 2 tablets so take or buy some.

No air con and the apartment was very warm as it has big windows, leaving the windows open meant noise from late night drinkers returning back who seem to think everyone else should be awake because they are! Our apartment wasn’t ready on time meaning we had to hang around a while. Cleaning could be more thorough (lots of debris under the sofas which I found after losing an earring!)

Queva at reception was excellent. Very courteous, friendly and helpful. Car park facilities were excellent. Great system of using the apartment key card to get in and out of the car park free of charge. Apartments within few hundred metres of the hotel with free access to the pool. Clean and well maintained facility. Other than few points below, the apartment was very clean. Well laid out. Sea view from balcony. Very comfortable. High quality building. The courtyard was a lovely area for the kids to play as well.

Dishwasher requires a deep clean as grime and sludge has accumulated around door edges. We couldn't use the dishwasher for this reason. Duvet was stained and this should have been binned by cleaning staff and a new duvet supplied. Water pump is very noisy. But the pump can be switched off which was handy at night with sleeping kids in the apartment. I know hotels want check outs as early as possible to allow for cleaning but check out at 10am is a bit excessive!

Great facilities but was disappointed that check out time was 10am very early on a Sunday morning and with check in from 4pm. We looked for an extension for check and I was charged an extra €25.00 per hr.

The location of the apartments is excellent and the sea/river view is simply beautiful. To watch the sun rise over the horizon early on a clear morning was just stunning. The railway line running just in front of the apartment was a source of delight and excitement to the children each time the train passed by. The apartments are spacious and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning to stay at the Talbot Suites in the future.

The weather - typically soft Irish weather on most days!! But it didn't spoil our holiday😊.

The apartment was so central to everywhere and very well equipped. The car park is complimentary during the stay, and you can park on the level you're staying at, so no lugging cases up and downstairs. The girls in reception were fab to deal with and have great advice. It was our first time bringing our little boy away, and staying in the Talbot Suites was a very enjoyable stay, and we'll definitely be back.

The towels weren't replaced every day even though when I booked it said towels were included. We could have rented them from reception for 10e per set but we ended up buying our own.

This was our first time staying here in Wexford and we found everything we wanted and needed for our stay at the Talbot Suites. The accommodation and views were exceptional and the staff were very courteous and helpful. The location was perfect for the wedding we came over for at the Ferry Carrig Hotel. I would definitely recommend this to friends and wouldn't hesitate to use it again when we next come over.

There wasn't anything to dislike. Everything was perfect. The only slight inconvenience was not being able to get back into the car park after 10 pm.

This apartment was spacious and well kitted out. It is ideally placed, within walking distance of the waterfront and town's main streets. We were staying for a wedding at a nearby hotel, and were able to walk to the wedding venue and back late in the evening feeling quite safe and comfortable to do so. Having the parkade to park in was great for keeping our vehicles safe.

On arrival there was no kettle in our room - however this was quickly rectified. We never read the documentation properly, so were a little surprised to find ourselves 'locked out' of the parking when returning a little after 10pm after a day out exploring. However this was not an issue as the hotel advised us to use their parking.

The location. Staff so friendly and welcoming. A very roomy apartment with everything needed. I wished we were not so busy as we would have loved relaxing there enjoying the view from the lovely full length windows. A great idea from the Talbot Hotel. My daughter & son were happy to use the gym in the hotel, three mins walk and we had a grand breakfast on one of the mornings. Car parking on site and in hotel car park if we were late. I would definitely use again.

The breakfast selection was great. Lots to choose from but the hot section could be hotter. My tomatoes were fine big portions but cold. That's my only negative. Lots of staff on hand and pleasant.
