Clean room. Friendly staff and helpful. Fast enough wifi and easy to use. Great looking restaurant, lobby and hotel with swimming pool. Good food at the restaurant and variety provided. Swimming caps provided, nice swimming pool. Hotel in a quiet area.

The room had a slight smell like it was not properly ventilated. Fixed shower with a bath tub. No additional water brought in the room besides the initial 2 0.5l bottles. Too warm in the room. Room not properly sound insulated, you can hear a shower from nearby room at night. No bathrobes or slippers provided for the swimming pool. Extremely busy restaurant during weekend. Limited breakfast menu. Location, need a car to get to the city center.

Breakfast lovely and hot and excellent choice available. Bistro very enjoyable and although Sun night ( bank hol.) was very busy, (30 mins delay on our booked table, was understandable) the staff were very professional and pleasant under stress. Room was very lovely and sitting out on balcony ( with blanket supplied) was my all time favourite place to relax. Well done to all.

Very difficult to keep floor dry during shower- dividing wall too short. Condensation on window needed drying off due to poor ventilation - no opening pane. Small fridge in room would be welcome. E- power charger in your car park was extremely slow, only charging 0.6kw per hour and we met several guests that experienced same problem. We did contact E-power to alert them to this problem.

We had a brief but wonderful stay. The hotel is charming and beautifully decorated for Christmas at this time. The interior decor is tasteful and sumptuous with a clever eye for detail, it feels highly personalised unlike many large hotels. Our room was gorgeous with a private balcony which we enjoyed very briefly despite the inclement weather. The hotel was incredibly busy for food service (there’s a reason for this!) and they kindly rang a few days prior to ask if we wanted to book for dinner, which is something we might not ordinarily do. But we arrived to a buzzing hotel with an almost party atmosphere and wonderfully welcoming staff who looked after us with great warmth and cheer even though they had clearly been working flat out for hours. We had delicious gin cocktails at the bar and an excellent and tasty meal from the extensive menu, with live music as an added bonus. Sadly, we had to leave early for the morning ferry but the restaurant was open and ready for a continental breakfast and lashings of fresh hot tea. A takeaway breakfast was also an option. All in all, an uplifting experience which cheered us on the last night of our trip to Ireland. We will be very keen to stop with you on our next visit. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to deliver such high standards.

breakfast menu was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast on both mornings of our stay was the highlight of our stay, Thank you to all concerned. I happened to leave behind an expensive set of Earbuds on departure. I was contacted while still on my way home by Val @ Reception. He informed me a member of housekeeping staff had found Earbuds and he arranged to have them posted to my home address. To Val and member of housekeeping Many Thanks.

Evening Dinner, restaurant very busy which had a knock on affect on waiting time between courses. restaurant staff very professional and friendly which made the overall experience very enjoyable.

Family run hotel

Restaurant booking despite booking we were kept waiting over half an hour for our table which we had pre booked. We were directed to wait In reception but there were no chairs available. As residents I felt we should have been treated better.

We are used to it, so it worked as expected. The restaurant bar is crazy busy, so we know to book ahead. You need to make sure that new customers know that.

Nothing much, other than in-bath showers are always a safety hazard, especially in the larger rooms as the spray is so near the wall. We are both getting older, and I suspect that before long we will only be booking hotel rooms with walk-in showers. The bathroom in our room easily had sufficient space for a walk in shower as well as a bath. My advice for the hotel would be to begin a programme of upgrade.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner on arrival. The foyer was warm and inviting. Our bedroom was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a lovely balcony. The swimming pool was lovely, not yo crowded abd great for a proper swim Our evening meal in the bar was delicious ,with generous servings. The ambience was warm and convivial.The serving staff were so friendly. Breakfast next day was absolutely fantastic. Very tasty and great choice. Again, the lady serving was very friendly. Beautiful dining room. Everywhere was spotless and smelled so clean.

The entrance was beautiful and soon as I got to the reception the staff were very welcoming. The pool was lovely and the staff there explained that we could get towels from them instead of using the ones from the room. The breakfast was very nice and very quick to come out. My wife asked for pancakes and syrup only but she got bacon with it which wasn't ideal as she is vegetarian. But didn't ruin the lovely tasting breakfast. Overall staff was lovely and helpful

Never was given the WiFi password. There was no mini fridge in the room which was kinda annoying as would of liked to have cold bottles of water

It is a very nice hotel. The room for 2 adults and 2 kids was quite spacious. Breakfast was very good and made to order. The staff in the restaurant and the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool, sauna and steamroom made our stay even better. Overall a great experience and we'll very likely be back.

There was a bit of a problem with tightening of the bathroom tap but we let the staff know and they said they'll get it fixed. There was no lift to our room (not sure if there were rooms with lift access in the rest of the hotel) which was not a problem for us but might be an important piece of information for someone else.

We were welcomed so nice. They told us there was no lift but they could call someone to help us with our luggage. The hotel looks very nice and clean. Ours was big enough and clean too. We enjoyed our dinner downstairs at the restaurant/bar. The food was very tasty and the portions were big enough. You can join the swimming pool and spa during your stay. It's nice and clean. There is free parking. Breakfast was so delicious, you can choose what you like and it will be cooked freshly for you plus you can serve yourself from the small buffet too.

We didn't find anything we didn't like, we just were a bit surprised when we were told we had to buy swimming hats to use the swimming pool. The cheapest is €3 or you have more options for more expensive.
