Excellent location for a visit to Thursford Spectacular or to visit north Norfolk. The accommodation made lovely use of the original building with lovely high ceiling in the bedroom area. It also featured an extremely well resourced kitchen with everything we needed including a light continental breakfast.

The accommodation is adjoined to other units and when our neighbours’ arrived back with small noisy people in tow, we were glad to be on the verge of going out! The route to the accommodation is along some very narrow country lanes which can be a little unnerving for less confident drivers.

The stay was great for the four of us. The property was very clean and had fantastic decor, especially in the bedrooms. We also had a nice sitting room and kitchen facilities. We were only staying one night so didn't get much chance to use all the facilities that were available. Use What3Words and it directs you right to the entrance. Yes, the roads are narrow but you are in the countryside so what do you expect. They aren't dirty tracks, all tarmac so just take the last 5 miles carefully and you won't have a problem.

Check out at 10am was a bit early, especially after a late night at the Thursford Spectacular. Should have asked for a late checkout.

The location was isolated but the SatNav found it. Ideal for a trip to Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Thank you for having a Gideon’s Bible in the drawer Breakfast was well supplied

The car parking was difficult. Designated spaces would be good. We were told to park by The Cottage & the next morning we were almost blocked in by a car behind ours. We managed to get out but with difficulty. We had to make an early start, so it could have been difficult as we didn’t know whose car it was if we had had to ask them to move.

Ideal for those who like to stay in a fairly remote farming country area with little habitation or urbanism within a 20 minutes drive. Our accommodation included its own 2 person hot tub - lovely. Location is reasonably close to 2 National Trust houses and some other NT parklands or woodlands. For country lovers it would be eminently suitable. Also a reasonable drive to Cromer.

Nothing serious to warrant a mention. Owners were very pleasant and accommodating. Not a complaint in any way - just it’s good to know to bring your favorite supplies of food and drink with you as it’s a slog to the nearest minimart or fuel station and opening hours are not what city folk would be used to!!

Quiet location, not crowded and plenty of space around to walk dogs (we have 2).

Whilst the accommodation was well appointed, it had a tired feeling about it. The bathroom in particular needed some refurbishment. It is described as a ‘wet room’’ and that is because it is!! The shower leaked continually splashing the surrounding floor - the bath mat was sodden on day one and never dried out. Also, the towels needed replacement. They were obviously old, stained and had a faint smell. We just got the impression that the whole complex - which had a lot to commend it - needs refreshing.

The location is very remote, perfect for a relaxing, away from it all break. The suite we stayed in was lovely, very clean with everything you need. Contact and information from the owner was very good prior to arrival. Had a great nights sleep in the very comfortable king bed. Suite is very well equipped with everything you need.

The Wifi situation is not good, we could not connect to any of it and that's with vodafone (which the property says has the best chance!) and there is zero phone signal. While it is good to have a complete break from all of that, I was just concerned that in an emergency you could not contact / be contacted. Do your research on places to eat / get food before you go as we struggled once there and we had torrential rain which made driving round trying to find somewhere even more difficult. We ended up having our breakfast for our evening meal :-(

Quiet setting, easy accessible coast and places to visit, walk etc. Good hosts relaxing 😌 Good facilities eg kitchen outside courtyard enjoyed rural location and good pubs for food nearby eg three horseshoes

It was ideal for short break, limited seating area for longer stay and no doubt many could find things to complain about but not us!! (why do people moan so much in reviews about petty things ?? ) But if you are easy going then it's a great little place and would happily recommend and use again 😀

I would recommend arriving in daylight as we had some problems finding it but other than that the accommodation was comfy, clean well equipped and we had an enjoyable stay. My mobile phone didn't have cover but it was resolved with WiFi calling. Research local places to eat before arrival or bring suitable food for an evening meal and cook at the premises

Beautiful clean cottage, much bigger than the pictures appear. Super comfy bed and lovely hot tub perfect for relaxing in the evening. Very peaceful area but close to holt by car for any shopping you might need. Didnt want to leave.

Some of the things listed weren't available such as toiletries cd/dvd player. No phone signal or Internet access but was actually lovely not to be connected for a couple of days.

We liked everything about our stay, Victoria was very helpful and obliging when we discovered the stairs , as mum is in a wheelchair. Victoria opened up all the ground floor for us. Lovely and warm and comfortable. We would all like to return in the summer months, to use the hot-tubs, also we loved the horses .
