Beautiful old classic hotel. Location opposite the railway station, so very handy for transport and only a short walk from historic area, main squares, restaurants. The staff were excellent, rooms very clean, bathroom totally refurbished. String wifi. Parking close by.

The hotel is a beautiful old lady - just needs her lobby and public areas refurbishing, they let her down.

Lovely old style hotel in excellent condition (possibly recently refurbished), and breakfast was excellent if a little expensive. Also close to several restaurants for evening meal.

Advice re parking could be clearer. Only found out about hotel parking facility 5 mins walk away after we arrived which has limited spaces. Parking at the station opposite is NOT an option.

The staff were friendly and helpful, they provided us with two large rooms with interconnecting doors. One room had a balcony. We left our pillows in the room and they organised posting them back to us which they did straight away. Couldn't have asked for a better service

.The reception staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly. They were so accommodating about storing our bikes for us, and the hotel was a perfect location from Angers train station for our early start the next day.

It was a little tricky to park nearby to drop things off but that's not the fault of the hotel!

It's in a great location near the station - lots of bars and cafes around. There was a group of people on a tour, and I generally think tour companies' business models rely to a large extent on picking hotels that aren't necessarily in the top 10%, but aren't terrible either, and that would summarize this one well.

Nothing much - I thought it was good value for money.

lovely old building, super helpful & professional welcome from the reception. we paid extra for a prestige room, and enjoyed the extra space, big separate bathroom, and giant bed.

some of the public areas looking a little tired - eg faded carpet on stairs, but our room itself felt very newly renovated.

Spacious room (& bathroom) with window. I have stayed here several times over the years b/c very convenient to train station, but also easy walk to sights (château d’Angers, University and center of town.)

It was a quiet room on the first floor as I had asked for. It was very clean and I liked the green approach with separate bins for recycling and soap dispensers.

The room was a 'little tired' and the tea bags were poor quality and the milk was missing on two days. Had breakfast on one day only as it was poor. I could not believe that there was a coffee machine at breakfast in a French Hotel!

The room was big and bed was comfortable.

Although the hotel says parking is available we were advised by reception staff that only small cars can be accommodated so we spent a small fortune for on street parking.

We were with a tour and came in a day early. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us take the TVG from Paris, telling us which train and the times. Location is right across from the train station. Good place to see the old town.
