The hotel staff was very kind and although the neighbourhood made us a little worried about safety there were absolutely no problems throughout the week. The room had basic things - a kettle, tea/coffee, safe, tv and it was regurarly cleaned. The bed was very comfy but a little too short for us tall scandinavians. Breakfast was nothing too special but had all the neccessary things. We loved that the bus stop was right across the road and the metro only about a 5min walk. So it was fairly easy going anywhere we wanted. The breakfast was optional every day (10£ per person). Would reccomend it to anyone who doesn't want to pay too much but still wants a fairly good place to stay.

Upon arrival we were a little taken back from the neighbourhood (had a very strong middle east vibe). Our room was one of the newly renovated ones and the smells were like it - maybe ventilating the room for some time would help with the paint smell and some dust. We also experienced some electrical difficulities (when we came back the lights didn't work) but both times it was sorted quickly. The bed might be a little short for taller people. Shampoo and shower gel had a very distinct smell which kind of bothered us.

This was my 3rd stay at the establishment. Convenient location to tube and bus stations, as well as food outlets all along. New renovated rooms are really great and aesthetically well thought out. We were allowed to check in to both of our rooms early, which was fantastic! The staff are friendly and happy to help out as much as possible.

Room could’ve been cleaned better on a daily basis. We found that rooms were not fully swept/vacuumed daily, instead a light clean done only.

Great location with easy and fast access to London city centre. The staff was very friendly and the room was beautifully furnished, it is either brand new or newly updated. It was a good size (not overly spacious but still very comfortable), had sockets near the bed, tea and coffee in the room. Everything was really clean apart from one thing (see negatives). On the 4th floor there was no noticeable noise from the streets. There are lots of shops and restaurants around on Edgeware Road, and while the walk from the tube station is not the fanciest, the immediate area further on from the hotel is quite posh.

Soundproofing between the rooms could be a lot better, especially since the rooms have been newly updated. There were hairs on the decorative pillows, which was unfortunate. As everything else was spotlessly clean, I suppose it was just skipped.

Excellent location at the top of Edgware Road. Edgware itself is a bustling commercial street, mostly Middle Eastern restaurants and businesses, so if you like Middle Eastern food, you're in the right place. The street itself is the dividing line between posh Marylebone to the east and Paddington to the west, with lots of ethnic restaurants of all sorts nearby. And just to the north you're in Little Venice, with its charming canal, and Maida Vale, another pleasant residential area. If you're a walker it's also an easy walk just beyond Paddington to Bayswater and Notting Hill, both with many good restaurants. You also have easy quick access to almost anywhere you'd want to be in London from the Edgware Road tube stations (two close to each other), with multiple lines, so you can get many places without a transfer. Management and staff were very cordial. The day I checked in I had some issues figuring out how some things in the room worked, and someone was at my door literally within seconds of the call to the desk ending! Bed was comfortable, and room while not large, was ample enough by London standards. Hot water and heat were excellent, but the duvets were so warm I had the heat off at night for a mid-November stay. The windows provide excellent insulation against both cold and noise. Some reviewers have said that rooms facing Edgware can be a bit noisy, but I had a room facing the side street, Frampton Road, and had absolutely no street noise. I saw that one reviewer warned the area can be dicey at night. Nothing could be further from the truth. I suspect the reviewer just has had too little experience around brown-skinned people. As with any hotel, room prices can vary by demand. I got a great rate when they were running a sale on Booking. At full rack rate I might have looked elsewhere, but at about 35% off, it was a no-brainer.

Breakfast had what one would expect from a budget hotel chain: poor quality packaged pastries, and only sugary cereal. But I had a long stay, and after my first breakfast I went to the Aldi just a block and a half north and got some amazing muesli that I'd bring down to breakfast to mix with the provided plain yogurt (they also have fruit yogurt). There are some nice wrapped English cheese chunks and decent whole wheat bread, but the ham was very sad looking, so I didn't try it. Housekeeping was generally excellent, but for some reason they never changed the dirty teacups unless I left a note. In my room at least there were no electrical outlets by the bed.

The cental location was the best. We could move easily to hop on hop off bus tour from Mable Arch and also St. Pancras station was 15-20 min away and it helped using Eurostar to go to Paris and come back late without any worries. Also, we very much liked the English continental breakfast from 7am, so for sightseeing London tour we could set off early. In all the staff was more than cooperative, with special mention of Nuri who was very kind,,,, cooperative and very helpful ( arranged for charger in time of need, when ours had a problem and helped in arranging early morning cab to St. Pancras) In all kudos to all staff who were all very pleasant and joy to interact with. Love to visit you again in London Thanks and warm regards, Krishnan

I cannot think of anything. Everything was good for us.

The room was spacious, definitely bigger than I expected. The bathroom was well equipped and quite spacious as well. For that price it was great. The location was great. It's very close to a big supermarket so it wasn't necessary to have breakfast at the hotel as we could grab a yogurt and a snack from that shop. There are 2 metro stations that you can reach in under 10 minutes of walking. When you go the other way, it's 5 minutes to the canal.

The mattress was too soft for my liking. Everything else was great. Maybe I wouldn't feel fully safe in that area at night as a solo-female traveler.

The hotel is really pretty, also the breakfast area and the rooms. I stayed for 4 days (3 nights) and I had a wonderful time. Me and my boyfriend have appreciated particularly the comfort of our bed and the great position: the nearest station is Edgware Road (you have two stations with different lines, so that’s very convenient) and it is close to the most popular attractions and neighbourhoods of the city. The staff is really kind and helpful. I really suggest you this hotel!🇬🇧❤️

The hotel is walking distance to the two Edgware underground stations which offer access to Bakerloo, Circle, and District Lines. It is steps away from two bus stops. It is also close to Paddington Station which is a transportation hub including the National Railway. We took the Heathrow Express back and forth to the airport in ~20 minutes. We also caught a train to Windsor from there. The room was updated, efficient, and clean. The staff was polite and helpful.

The mattress was good but firm. We are accustomed to sleeping on a foam mattress topper. It was uncomfortable for us. There was also street noise from ambulances going to the nearby hospital.

The hotel is conveniently located to train and Underground. It is within walking distance of Regents and Hyde Parks and Abbey Road was a bonus. The room was comfortable and had the needed conveniences. The breakfast was decent with good coffee options. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

I stayed in two different rooms. One for three nights and another on my return for one night. The second room did not have a window that opened or an outlet near the bed but these were very minor inconveniences.

The location is really convenient, multiple bus lines and tube stops nearby; lots of groceries and restaurant options. Contrary to the other reviews, no noise from my room, but maybe because it was facing the internal yard, so I’ve been lucky. Facility was clean, breakfast was fair with enough options (no thing such scrambled eggs and stuff but I’m mot a fan, so all good!); the staff also was super kind!

Probably it’s a personal taste, not necessarily a thing not to like but the mattress were waaay too soft (mine probably even needed to be replaced, impossible to sleep on)
