Location was perfect - Short walk to shops, restaurants, fast food, Paddington station Staff - Was friendly and accommodating. They gave me the opportunity to choose the room, and I felt safe in their care. Tony was perfect. Greeted me with a smile, and his main concern was to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied! Breakfast included. Great value for money as I stayed for 7 nights.
The first night was very cold but changed rooms and the heating was perfect. I am a tall, plus-size man, and the bathroom was a little small for me. So, if you are a plus-size person, this may be an issue. No elevator, so the higher the room number, the more stairs you will have to climb. Take that into consideration with the amount of luggage you have. However, the staff was very willing to assist.

Location was great, not far from Lamcaster Gate Tube station (Central Line), close to Hyde Park etc. Breakfast was snacks in a box (Yoghurt, biscuits, cake, water etc) which was more than adequate and could be eaten later in the morning. Staff were helpful. I arrived early, and was given room keys to leave my bags which allowed me to go out and not worry about my luggage. Room was clean and the bedding was fresh, and the bed was comfortable. Room was on the top floor, with some steep stairs, but you expect this from a old building. I found it quiet and I slept well. The room could be freshened up and decorated, but i will not criticise it, as overall, I paid a good price.

I am an actress and I have traveled all over the world but I have never seen better hotel then this one. This is not about the service anymore this is about receiving a help from people when you need help with a good will from their harts and the best intentions. Usually in the hotels they just care about your money and how they will benefit from you not about you and your experience being there. Honestly, it’s the fist time I have seen hotel where you can counting on the people that works in the hotel and they are there to help you. In my life I use to stay in this expensive 5 star resorts where only what they wanted is to take my money here I ended up very unplanned and I loved everything here. This is the best hotel I have stayed ever. The people here are so helpful and nice. They helped me so much and was so kind to me. I highly recommend this place to you.

Firstly the price!! £55 for a night in London for two!! My expectations were very low! However the room was clean, the sheets were fresh, there was soap, very clean towels, hair dryer, kettle, descent size cups, tea/coffee, and enough milk to make more than 1 cup each! I am not a four in the bed inspector, lol. I have paid much more for a lot less! Breakfast was from a box in the fridge. It offered a cereal bar, yoghurt, waffle, apple juice, raisins... much more than I've had when they offer breakfast with an actual kitchen...It was true value for money. Slightly more than I was expecting.
The front door was hard to open, the staff was abrupt. Which I initially confused with rudeness. However he was very helpful.

The beds were very comfortable and spotless clean bedding and fresh towels every day. Our beds were made every day also. Lovely friendly George the owner and his staff made us very welcome. The breakfast boxes were delicious 😋! and very filling. Beautiful gardens right opposite our hotel with a gorgeous decorated Christmas tree. Loads of shops, pubs, restaurants and Paddington train station and underground station all just feet away, couldn't get a better location really. Great value for money too.
Everything was fine

The bed was very comfy and the room was very Spacious. The room was very basic but it was a reasonable price for London. It was ideally situated 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station, a pub round the corner less than 1 minute away.
There isn't a very nice view and the bathroom isn't very big. Also the Shower head didn't stay in position and is very loose on the wall and spins round the wrong way when in use. The shower curtain doesn't slide very well either but that said these were minor issues.

Clean, well-maintained rooms. The staff were courteous.
The hotel doesn't have an elevator, which becomes a problem if you are travelling with heavy luggage. Also, the breakfast comes in a refridgerated cardboard box containing a croissant, a packaged juice, a fruit yoghurt and a sweet. Although the products are of good quality, they are packaged foods, and I don't think anyone can handle so sweet things with absolutely no savoury item added, in the breakfast.... Also, there was no option provided on booking.com, for opting out of the breakfast, if you wanted to.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is a few minutes walking from Paddingtons station. The breakfast is simple but good. Since you take the basket to your room, you can prepare your coffee in the room and eat there. The atendant Rick was very kind and helpful. Helped me with the luggage.
The lack of lift(elevator) so you have to take the luggage stairs up and stairs down. I dont have nything else to say, I am just writing to fill the required amout of word that i need to write to keep going.

Tony at reception/handy man was so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely room with Juliet balcony which was perfect for a gorg summer eve we had. Breakfast box was delicious. We will return with our family too as rooms were huge. Fantastic location.
We liked everything as was perfect for our stay. However, others may say it dated and locks on balcony not safe. But we were very happy on our last minute stay.

We had a very good deal staying in low season during the week. So it was a very good value for money considering that the hotel is in a very central area of London . Breakfast is a box with basic food and you have tea and coffee in the room . We booked a triple room recently renewed with private bathroom so it was good enough for us
We were on the top floor with no elevator . Being an old building the steps were very narrow and high so if you have problem with steps make sure you are put on the first floor
