The staff are fantastic, helpful, friendly and a great source of information. The hotel itself is lovely & clean, the beds comfortable and the lift a godsend. The shower was amazing too! It's perfectly placed for the train station and town with lots of café's and bars nearby. The shutters make sleeping a dream. There are church bells nearby but they're lovely to listen to and don't disturb your sleep at all. From our terrace I got to watch a hawk that likes the church, swallows chirruping, gecko's and a few bats at night. Don't worry about airport transfers as there is a shuttle bus for €5 between the airport & the train station and the hotel is a short 10 minute walk. The mediaeval city is about 25 mins away and flat until you have to walk up to the gates. Carcassonne is an amazing place and a genuine place to unwind & enjoy the food, drink (local beer is lovely too) and for exploring. There's a lovely river walk & the Canal du Midi is very pretty too. The churches are a must see too. If you want to get out and about the train to Lourdes cost us about €100 return and was well worth the overnight trip. We also went to Narbonne 30 mins away which was beautiful. Toulouse is about 30 mins too and worth exploring. We were there for 8 days (flight got grounded so one bonus night thanks to Ryanair) and we could have easily stayed longer. We'll be back to the hotel at some point. Carcassonne is a magical city that weaves a spell on you that makes you want to stay & come back.

Le Petit Moka cafe in the main square is an avoid. The drinks are great but the staff rude & service poor. The rest of the restaurants in the square are all fabulous with nice staff, great food and service. There are no complaints about the hotel or staff, just compliments.

Located in the north west corner of the Bastide (lower old town) so very convenient for bars and restaurants and about 30 minutes walk to the famous old city and castle. There is no parking but there is a secure underground car park just 5 minutes walk away to the north (only 7 euros for 24 hours). I'd just booked a single occupancy but that changed last minute as my wife decided to join my - I contacted the hotel and they changed my reservation without any problem and I just paid the difference on arrival. Nice, friendly lady on reception. It's not a fancy hotel but perfectly good for a short stay and good value for the location.

This is a very clean, well presented hotel in the perfect location near the centre & railway station. We paid for a larger room with air conditioning & had a nice view of cathedral & rooftops from 4th floor. There is a lift. We found our room excellent for sleeping as bed is comfortable, electric roll up/down shutters, it’s quiet & we didn’t hear bells after 9pm. Lots of windows you can open, so it’s a light & airy room with plenty of space. The shower was good & toilet separate from bathroom. The receptionist was welcoming & efficient & did her utmost to connect us to wifi even using another option, but unfortunately that didn’t last either. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent full continental breakfast in a very pleasant room, very helpful person found a phone charger converter for us. They said they didn’t have a room with twin beds but when we arrived they gave us a room with two double beds - what a lovely surprise They looked after our suitcases whilst we spent the day touring the town.

The hotel was a little tired in need of paint, new shower room etc. Everything worked well and was perfectly adequate for our overnight visit.

I loved this hotel! The madame at the reception was super friendly and helpful (she waited for me until late evening after I already checked out, to pick up my luggage before departure by train), the white room was quite spacious and beautiful with regional elegant charm (this is the famous town of UNESCO World Heritage listed medieval castle), It is very close to the central train station, just 5 minutes walk. I wish I could have stayed for more days.

I liked everything about this hotel. If any, there is a little bit of walk from the hotel to the Castle (abt 2-25 minutes), but, that is not a big problem as there are many things to see on the way, in fact, I ended up shopping unexpectedly while commuting to the castle compound across the river!

Perfect small, family run hotel. Close to the train station (but far enough away from any noise), close to the 'centre ville'. The Chateau and Cité ate about a 15-20 minute walk. Really nice, friendly, helpful staff, tasty breakfast, cold cuts, cheese, fresh breads and croissants as well as cereals, and toast etc. My room was small but adequate, bed was really comfortable. Would visit again. Thank you for making my visit to Carcassone so enjoyable.

The towels were a bit dated, but adequate. Overall a great experience.

The hotel is in a great location near the train station and the town square, very quiet, clean and very comfortable bed. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful.

Our room (30) was pleasant, nice shower and bathroom but the toilet had a very strong smell of damp which spoilt the overall experience. There is obviously a serious damp issue as it was the same in the toilet on the first floor.

Lovely little hotel, central for train station/near airport. Exceptionally welcoming and helpful staff. Room was comfy and clean and breakfast was excellent, everything you could need for €9 per person. We needed disabled parking and this was available FREE only a very short distance away. There was also a LIFT at the hotel which was such a help. We have stayed here a couple of times it’s in a good location, about 10-15 minute drive to AIRPORT and good value for money. We will stay here again.

Hot water took a long while to come through in the shower but it wasn’t a real problem!

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The room wasn't the most luxurious room I have been to but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is in a perfect situation if you are taking the train and also for the square with nice restaurants and bars. The room was good value for money and I would use it again for an overnight stay if catching the train the next day.

The room was quite old looking but once again good value for money. You get what you pay for in this hotel.
